Zacharia Muriithi Ndoria

Sister Death has visited us, Capuchin Franciscan Friars, and taken our brother Zacharia Muriithi Ndoria to eternal life. He was born to the world in 1948, the 7th of 8 siblings of Evan Ndoria and Salome Kagure. He was born a child of God through Baptism on 17/5/1958 and received the Sacrament of Confirmation on 29/6/1961.

He served as a Catechist in his home parish, Our Lady of Consolata, Giakaibei (Archdiocese of Nyeri). Later while working in Embu he came into contact with Secular Franciscan Order (SFO) whom he joined. Through them, again he came into contact with Capuchin Franciscan Friars whom he joined in 1984. He made his perpetual religious profession in 1991. He witnessed Jesus Christ through his work mostly in Mpeketoni (Catholic Diocese of Malindi).

The requiem mass will be held on Tuesday 11th September at St.Austin’s Church, Msongari led by His Grace, Bishop (Emeritus) Peter Kairu, at 11.00am and later burial at the Cemetery in the same Location.

May Brother Zacharia, who shared in the death of Christ through baptism, share also in His resurrection. Amen!
