Zacharia Ngugi Njoroge

It is with deep sorrow and positive reflection that we announce the passing of Zacharia Ngugi Njoroge (formerly of Nairobi City Council) which occurred on 6th January 2019 after a short illness.

Son of the late Peter Njoroge Kung’u and the late Marietta Muthoni Njoroge. Loving husband of the late Margaret Wanjiru Ngugi and Elizabeth Wanjiru Ngugi. Father of Winnie Nyambura, Peter Njoroge, Eric Niwaura, JuneClaire Nyambura, Peter Oscar Njoroge and John Kamuta. Brother of Elienida Wairimu, Lucira Wangui, Alphina Njoki, Elizabeth Waceke and the late Elud Njogu. Father-in-law of Joan Mbuba Mwaura. Grandfather of Michelle Wanjiru, Montell Mwangi, Skye Gathoni Mwaura, Jordan Ngugi Mwaura. Uncle of Joseph Zakaria Ngugi (National Treasury), Josephat Kimani, William Gachiengo, Peter Kang’ethe and others.

Friends and relatives are meeting at his home California Estate D3 for prayers and funeral arrangements from 4.00pm and Norwich Union from 5.00pm.

There will be a fundraiser on Tuesday 22nd January 2019 at Cardinal Otunga Plaza (Holy Family Basilica) from 5.30pm.

Thee cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Friday 25th January 2019 at 8.00am and will proceed to Kianjiruini, Maragwa, Murang’a County.
