Zachariah Maleche

25th November, 1942 – 27th July, 2017

We, the family of the Late Zachariah Maleche and the Late Rose Adera Oyatsi Maleche express our gratitude to the Almighty God for blessing us with loving and caring parents, father, husband, brother, uncle, cousin, friend, mentor and for blessing us with the strength and peace during this difficult time.

We wish to convey our sincere gratitude to everyone who stood with us during the illness and demise of our beloved Father. Words cannot express our appreciation in depth for the love and care, the generous spiritual, financial and material sacrifices from Family, Friends, Neighbours, Colleagues, both Churches and Funeral Organizing Committees in Nairobi and Kakamega and all who played a role during the hospitalization and funeral process.

We wish to particularly acknowledge the Planner’s Profession through Mr. Augustine Masinde Director of Physical Planning Ministry of Lands & Physical Planning, Dr. Lawrence Esho Chairman of Kenya Institute of Planners and Mr. Mairura Omwenga Chairman of Architectural Association of Kenya (Town Planning Chapter).We are forever indebted for your overwhelming kindness and immeasurable support.

We express special gratitude to the School of The Built Environment, UoN through the Dean Prof. Robert Rukwaro, Heads of Department, Department of Urban and Regional Planning Staff and Students through the Chairman Dr. Isaac Mwangi, all Staff and Students at A.D.D Building. The memories, deep sympathy and support will always be remembered.

We thank Dr.J.Amugada, Dr. F. Okoth, Dr. R. Baraza, Dr. D. Oyatsi, Dr. J. Maleche, Prof. E. Obimbo, Nairobi Hospital staff specially at St George and St Lukes Ward, Mrs.M. Mbijiwe and Mr. B. Bundi for your tireless input during our beloved Father’s hospitalization.
