Zilpa Kageha Lidede

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing on of Zilpa Kageha Lidede on 4th January 2023.

Daughter to the late Mzee Timona Lidede Savala and the late Lorna Migare of Givogi, Gisambai, Vihiga County.

Loving mother to Sydney Wechuli Lidede.

Sister to the following: the late Ainea Shiribwa, Gerishom Savala, ones Lungatso, Kezia Vuzigwa, Sammy Savala, Agnetta Lungatso, Maria Luvai, Truphosa Kebeya, Sonny Savala, the late Ishmael Mugivane, the late Hezron Ndanyi, Rachel Abwavo, Julia Lidede, Miriam Mwirotsi, Zipporah Jumba, the late Irene Videnyi, the late Gladys Avugwe, Lydia Kanyeki, Charles Mbagaya and Jane Makokha. Sister-in-law and an aunty to many.

She was previously working at Kakamega Multi-purpose Development Training Institute (KMDTI) under the then Ministry of Social Services.

Burial arrangements are ongoing at her home in Kefinco estate, Kakamega.

The cortege leaves Kakamega Funeral home on the 13th January 2023 for an overnight vigil at her home. The funeral service shall take place on the 14th January 2023 at Daisy School in Kefinco, Kakamega from 9:00am.This will be followed by burial at her home.
