It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Zipporah Kananu James which occurred on 17th July, 2019 after a long illness bravely borne.

Daughter of the late Mathayo M’Aburugua and the late Salome Mwitiabi M’Aburugua. Beloved wife of the late Cllr. Kirianki Muriithi Mwithiga. Mother of Esther Nkirote, Charles Kirima, Silas Kinoti, the late Jane Kinaitore, Lucy Gacheri, Laban Kithinji, Newton Muriki and Fridah Kagwiria. Mother-in-law of Peter Mwiti, Florence Kirima, Rhodah Kinoti, Stephen Kirimi, Fridah Kithinji and Christine Muriki.

Adored grandmother of Faith Mwiti, Grace Mwiti, Joshua Mwiti, Mark Kirima, Eric Kirima, Doreen Kinoti, Dennis Kinoti, Ken Kirimi, Glory Kirimi, Muriuki Kirimi, Jacqueline Kithinji Maureen Kithinji, Prudence Muriki, Micah Muriki and Mark Muriki. ,  Sister of the late Elizabeth Nkatha, Gideon M’Rimberia, the late Shadrack M’Mwitari, the late Margaret Nduru, the late Japhet Kiburi and Francis Muthuri. Sister-in-law of late Peter M’Mwithimbu Mwithiga and late Nkatha Mwithiga.

Family and friends are meeting daily for fellowship and funeral arrangements at her home in Kambakia village, Municipality Location, Meru County and at the All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi on Monday 22nd and Wednesday 24th July, 2019 from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.

The cortege leaves Meru Funeral Home at 10.00am on Friday 26th July, 20 I 9 for funeral service and burial at her home, Kambakia Village in Meru County.

Farewell thee Mum. In God’s Hands you rest; in our hearts you live forever. Amen!
