Daughter of the late Barabi and the late Thumba. Wife of Jacob Mwitari. Co-wife of Aterina Karei. Mother of Nyoroka, Mwonjiru the late Nkoyai, Kaburo, Mukula, R7Atrick, Mutabari and Gladys. Mother-in-law of Baariu, Kiboo, the late Muchena Kalionchi, Nkirote, Wanjira, Kagendo, Kadogo, Ntinyari among others. Grandmother of Muriungi, Karambu, Miriti, Karani, Mutethia, Moris, Baraka among others. She has left behind many Great Grandchildren.

She will be laid to rest in her home in Kaithe Village Zipporah Athanja Sub-location in Muthara Location.

Meetings are taking place at Homeland, in Ruaraka Mwathathi Mwitari Friends corner Muriri and at her home at Kaithe village.
