Zipporah Wanjiru Karei

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Zipporah Wanjiru Karei which occurred on 15 July 2019 after a long illness bravely borne.
She was the daughter of the late Douglas Ndungu and Naomi Ndungu of Oloolua Ngong. Beloved wife of Josiah Ole Karei and mother to Catherine Naipande, Kevin Parkesian and Dennis Luiyana. Loving grandmother to Naisola, Lemein, Naserian, Saiton, Nasha, Ongwae, Leshan, Lesian and Siamanto.
Sister to the Late Rahab Mututua, Late Dr. Wilson Kamau, Late Loise Waithera, Late Stephen Mwangi, Late Margaret Kashonga, Ann Gicheru, Benjamin Douglas, Joyce Wainaina and Dorcas Douglas. Mother in Law to Bernard Nyagechi, Gladys Karei and Beatrice Karei. Sister in law to the Late Winnie, Rtd. Cmdt.Tetu, Ephantus Karei, Ester Omolo, Phylis Wuantai, Sophie Oyure, Agnes Kioko, Benson Karei, Eunice Kabugi and aunty to many.
Family and friends are meeting daily from 2-7 p.m. at PCEA Enchorro Emuny Church Ngong and 6.00 p.m. at Kuche Kuche Madaraka Nairobi West for prayers and funeral arrangements.
A fundraiser will be held at Upper Hill Springs on Thursday 18th July 2019 at 6.00 p.m.
She will be laid to rest on Tuesday 23rd July 2019 at her home Nkiwanjani Kajiado County. The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home at 7.00 a.m to Kajiado for service and final interment.
