Beloved wife of Mr. Samuel Kimutai Chumba, daughter of Johnathan and Salome Kalya, sister of the late Nathaniel Kalya, Methusela Kalya, Jacob Kalya, Naphtali Kalya, Japheth Kalya, Elkana Kalya, Joash Kalya, Hezekiah Kalya, Elise (Roseline) Chemai, and Jael  (Beatrice) Saropai.
Loving mother of Selina Seroney, Milka Ndiema, Dorcas Korir, Elizabeth Mengich, Mike Chumba, Wilson Mutai, Anne Chumba, Alfred Mutai and Lucy Nyang’au.
She was blessed with 33 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Mother in law of the late Wilson Seroney, Rafael Ndiema (KDF), Nicholas Korir, the late Benjamin Mengich, Esther Chumba, Mary Mutai, Sally Mutai, and Tom Nyang’au.

It is with deep sorrow that we the family of Obuya announce the sudden death of  Rtd Mwalimu Samuel Obuya of Enamba-Boitang’are.
Son of the late Zachariah Obuya and Mama Truphena Avisa. Husband of Yunuke Bochere and Tabitha Moraa.
Father of Charles, Rashid of Nairobi, Pst Ken (India), Roselyn (N.H.I.F), Mike (Kisii County Assembly), Cathrine (Capital Hotels), Caroline (D.F. Center), Lilian (Sameta Mixed) and Elizabeth of jubilee Insurance (Mombasa). Brother of the late Rebecca Sokobe, the late Laban Abeti and Leah Nyaruri.
Brother-in-law of Ezekiel Sokobe and Nyaruri. Son-in-law of the late Gesimba Nyakambi & the late Nyang’era Nyasae. Brother-in-law of Akuma, Nyaata, Florence, Isaac, Hon Joyce Isaac (MCA), Kwamboka & others. Cousin of the Bogitas of Kabosi village.
Father-in-law of Josephine, Wilfridah (KEBS) Komala (India) Vivian (Sironga High), Charles Okenye (Capital Hotels) & Erick Ongeri – County Information Officer (Nyamira).
Relatives and friends are meeting daily at his rural home Boitang’are (Enamba), Mwalimu Hotel Kisii, Lavington and Embakasi (homes) and Garden Square.

Daughter in law of Serina Wairegi, Mama Kelvin, Ann Kabage, Mweru, Rachael and Wamuthanji.

Meetings are being held at her home in Kamahindu, Kagwi ,Kiambu County and Mang’u hotel.

A final fundraiser meeting to meet medical and burial expenses will be held at the Tin Tin Restaurant (KICC) on Tuesday 22/11/2016 from 5pm.
The cortege leaves at KNH on Thursday 24/11/2016 thereafter a funeral service at Mosasa PAG Church.
Burial will take place on Friday 25/11/2016 at her home, Bonyang’ande village, Nyamache, Kisii County.

Death has occurred of Margaret Wanjiru Gatibaru.
Wife of the late Joram Gatibaru Mararo. Daughter of the late Njoroge Chege and the late Hannah Ndiku. Sister of Mary Waithera, Lucy Murugi Njoroge, Naomi Nyokabi, Stephen Chege, Francis Wanyugi.
Mother of the late Jonathan Mararo Karanja, Esther Gathoni Gatibaru, the late Phillis Muthoni, Mary Wairimu Njoroge, Fracia Waithera Kiboro, Kennedy Mbogo of USA, George Kariuki and the late Fredrick Njoroge.
She leaves behind 16 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. The cortege leaves Upland Funeral Home at 9am on Thursday 24th November 2016, for burial thereafter at her home in Nyamweru Githirioni, Lari Constituency.

The Cortege leaves Chiromo Funeral Home, Nairobi. on Thursday 24th November, 2016 at 8am for service and burial at her home in Gichiengo, Kijabe location at 10am.

Grandfather of Tracy, Leonce, Shanice, Michael, Ferran, Leroy, Victoria, Jayson, Enric and Lucas. Brother of Michael, the late Peter, Juliana, Papiana, Stephen, Mary and Susan. Step-brother to Gabriel, the late Francis, Paul, Vincent, Peter, Anna, Prof. Redempta,Teresia and the late David. Uncle of Faustine Mutungi, Gregory, Monica and Jane Mutune. He was loved by many.
Family and friends are meeting for funeral arrangements at his home in Kyale Village, Nunguni, Kilungu Sub-County, and at All Saints’ Cathedral, Nairobi on Tuesday 22nd and Wednesday 23rd November 2016, at 5.30pm.
There will be a fundraiser on Thursday 24th November 2016, at All Saints’ Cathedral. There will be a requiem Mass on Friday 25th November 2016, church venue details to be otscommunicated.
The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home on Saturday 26th November 2016 at 7am.
Funeral service will take palce at Kyale Catholic church, at 10am thereafter burial at his home in Kyale Village, Nunguni, Kilungu Sub-County, Makueni County.

The cortege leaves Oikalau Hospital Mortuary at 8am. The burial will be on 23rd November 2016 at his Home Wanjohi.
