Daughter of Merius Nyawira and Ng’era Muriithi. Daughter-in-law of the late Gibson Warani and the late Milkah Waithera. Beloved wife of James Mbau. Mother of Patrick Warani. Sister of Jane Wangari, Eunice Wanjiru, Samuel Muriithi, Stephen Ndung’u, Joyce Wairimu, Elizabeth Muthoni, Hannah Watetu, Nancy Njeri and Martha Wamuyu. Sister-in-law of the late Ndung’u, Alice Njeri, Jacinta Wanjiku, Peter Njoroge and the late Njuguna. Mother-in-law of Betty Rotich. Grandmother of Blessing and Samarie and aunty of many.
Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at their home in Buruburu Phase IV, Nairobi from 6pm. A memorial service in honour of the late Grace will be held at ACK St. James Buruburu at 2pm on Thursday 15th December 2016.
The cortege leaves KU Funeral Home on Friday, 16th December 2016 at 8.30am for a funeral service and burial at Kahethu village, Kigumo in Murang’a.

It is with great sorrow and sadness that the family of Jonas Zilmer Johansen announces his sudden and untimely death.
Jonas was born on December 4, 1985 in Skanderborg, Denmark, and migrated to Kenya with his family on March 1,1991. He was a geologist from University of Copenhagen, wildlife enthusiast and nature-lover, and became friends with people of all walks of life. Jonas lived an eventful and good life, which took him to the jungle of Cameroon, Greenland, Svalbard, the North Pole, and the tanzanite mines of Mererani among many other places on our Earth. He died on December 2, 2016 in Kikuyu.
Son of Ole Vestergaard Johansen & Ruth Akinyi Johansen and Annie Zilmer Ehrenreich & Jorgen Skov Andersen; brother to Anne Katrine, Sofle, Ida and Tedreagan; grandson of Else Johansen, Rose Apamo, Walther Ehrenreich, Anne Marie Drejer. The body was cremated at Hindu Crematorium, Kariokor, on Sunday December 11 and the close family will spread the ashes on selected places that Jonas loved in Kenya.
A celebration of his life will take place at a memorial on the family farm near Oloosirkon/Tuala, past Nazarene University, on Saturday December 17 from 1pm to 4 pm and in Denmark by end of December.
