It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sad demise of Mrs Agatha Njeri Kiminda of the University of Nairobi on 20th December 2016 at Aga Khan Hospital, Nairobi, after a short illness.

Beloved wife of Mr Patrick Kiminda Kamau.

Adored mother of Joseph Kamau Kiminda and Kevin Maina Kiminda.

Daughter of the late Isabella Muthoni Wamahiu. Sister of Irene Wanja of Archcroft Academy (UK), Maureen Wachera (KPLC Nyeri), Catherine Waigumo, late David Wachira, late Rose Wanjiru, Dr Joyce Wakiuru (Springfield University Hospital), Gidraph Wamahiu, Boniface Waweru (Hilton Hotel, Uganda) and Buxton Mathangani.

Agatha was a loving aunt to many. Sister in law of Hannah Nduta, Michael Ng’ethe, Salome Mithiri and Simon Ngomonge.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at St Peters and Paul, Catholic Church Hall, Kiambu (Opposite Kiambu Godl Club) from 6pm.

The cortege leaves Aga Khan Hospital mortuary on 28/12/2016 at 8am, for requiem mass at St. Peter & Paul CathoIic Church, Kiambu, at 10am.

Burial will follow thereafter at Matimbii Village, Kamburu location, Lari sub-county, Kiambu.

May the Almighty God give rest and peace to her departed soul.

Brother of Edith Wanjiru Kiritu and Martin Kenyanjui Mutaratara among others who are all deceased.

Father of Bonface Wainaina, Philip Karanja, Graduell Wambui Kioi, Anne Wanjiku Kamande, Brown Waweru and Edith Wanjiru Kimuhu.

Father in law of Monicah, Janet, Washington, Raphael and Harrison. Uncle and grandfather of many.

The cortege leaves Kikuyu Hospital Mortuary at 8.30am on Wednesday 4th January 2017 for 10am funeral service at the Church of the Torch, Thogoto and thereafter burial at Kikuyu Missionary Site.

May Almighty rest his soul in eternal peace.

He was CEO of Matrix Development Consultants, former chairman board of the National Housing Corporation and former vice president of of the Commonwealth Association of Planners.

Husband of Ruth Bosire of Public Service Commission. Father of Pauline, Rhoda, Tino and Tacey.

Son of the late Mzee Augustine Ogero and the late Mama Pauline Nyakoboke. Step son of Mama Esther Sarange. Son in law of late Mzee Nelson Kinanga and late Mama Teresia Aberi. Nephew of George Nyamwamu Kinanga.

Brother of the late Mary, Elizabeth, the late Nancy, late Hellen, late Joseph, late Kefa, Loise, Pauline, Gladys, Caren, Rachael, Moses, John, Joash and Naphtali.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his Karen residence for funeral arrangements from 5pm.

The fundraising is on Tuesday January 3rd 2017 at 5pm at Nairobi Central SDA Church.

Sister of the late Gideon Gathu, Esther Wangari, the late Kanyoro Wachira, Ruth Waithiegeni, Deborah Wambere, Joseph Gachau, the late Samuel Mutahi and John Munyi. Grandmother and great grandmother of many.

The cortege leaves Nyeri Funeral Home (Outspan) on Friday 30/12/2016 at 8am for funeral service to be held at PCEA Mihuti Parish Mukurweini Nyeri starting at 10am and burial thereafter at her residence at her residence in Mihuti.

We express our sincere appreciation to all who stood with us during Dad’s illness, especially the medical teams in Nairobi hospital, Cancer Care Kenya, the Aga Khan Hospital Clinic Nyeri, the home nursing care providers, the clergy and parishioners of St. Catherine of Siena, St Austin’s and Karima Catholic Churches, relatives, friends and well-wishers who stood and continue to stand with us.

We were humbled by the overwhelming love, kindness, prayers, moral and financial support shared with us.

Son of Mr Herbert Asava of FCM Travel Solutions and Doris Asava. Brother of Violet Mudemi, Mizlet Vihenda, Godfrey Mbogo, Ronald Galo, the late Joyce Kadenyi, and George Atsula. Nephew of Fanice, Florence, Damaris, Margaret, Mary Asava (USA), Hudson, Samson and the late William and a cousin of many.

Relatives and friends are meeting daily, at the parents home, Milimani, Kitengela at 5pm.

The cortege leaves Shalom Mortuary on 27/12/2016 for service at Buru Buru Church of God at 4pm and an overnight stay at the parents’ residence in Kitengela.

He will be laid to rest at his parent’s farm on the 30/12/2016 at Ahumbwa Village, Vihiga District.
