Margaret Muthoni Muchiga

We are saddened to announce the untimely death of Mrs. Margaret Muthoni Muchiga, which occurred on 27th March 2017 while undergoing treatment since 3rd March 2017. Wife of the late Francis Muchiga. She hailed from Gachiongo village, Ngerwe sub-location, Kirinyaga County.
Her parents were the late Naftaly Nyagah and Jemimah Kanini. Sister of Eunice Mbeere, the late Albert Kimotho, Faith Kabari, Jane Wambia and Dr. Justus Njage. Mother of Anne Wairimu, Sarah Wambui, Zachary Gichobi, Mary Wawira, Nancy Njoki and Beatrice Wanjiru. Mother-in law of Kennedy Mwai, George Maina, Peterson Kamunge and Peterson Muthii. Grandmother of Rose Brendah Muthoni, Caroline Wanjiku, Maureen Muthoni, Bernice Muthoni, Phoebe Njoki, Rose Muthoni, Jasmine Wanjiku, Nathaniel Ngige and Victoria Muthoni. Great-grand mother of Lesley Mutio.Auntie of many.
The cortege leaves Gakwegori Funeral Home tomorrow 4th April 2017.The burial will take place, thereafter at her home.

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will we announce the untimely death of our beloved Boaz Onyancha Davis (Jared) which occurred at Agakhan Hospital on 23rd March 2017 after a short illness. Until his death he served as Credit Manager Equity Bank Kisii Branch. Son of Agnes Moraa & the late Samuel ‘Kinaro Kemosi. Husband of Lydiah Sarange (Barclays Bank Nairobi). Father of Naomi, Ruth & Jonathan. Brother of Jane Kwamboka, Esther Nyaboke, Ishmael Nyabuti Joseph (Kisii University), Monica Kemunto, Anne Mokeira, Beatrice Nyanchama & David Orang’o (Riokindo Girls). Son-in-law of the late Naomi Mong’ina Ogari. Brother-in-law of Eunice, Bilha and Brian Ogari. Main fundraising will be on Tuesday 4th April, 2017 at SDA Maxwell Church Milimani. Funeral service will be on Wednesday 5th April at SDA Maxwell Church Milimani and burial Friday 7th April at Lelu Farm, Kipkelion. Donations may be sent via Mpesa Paybill No. 698084. The cortege leaves Kapsabet Refferal Hospital on 3rd April 2017 at I I .00am for a night vigil at home.Funeral service will be held on 4th April 2017 at her home,Kimaren Village Nandi County.

Daughter of the late Daniel Mbung’o Kinyai and Phoebe Mutethya Mbung’o of Nzambani, Kitui. Wife of Henry Agala M’mbohe of Kenya Power and Lighting, Kakamega. Mother of Christine, Hannington, Miriam, Angeline, Harrison and Eric. Grandmother of many. Sister of Lucia, the late Christin, Stella, Onesmus, Joseph and Patrick. Sister-in-law of Rose, the late Meshak, Abigail, Gladys, Jaston, Margaret, the late Roida and others. Daughter-in-law of the late – Andrew, Grace, Rhoda, the late jairo, the late Moses among others.

Friends and family are meeting everyday at her home, Kinaga Village, West Maragoli, Sabatia Sub-County, Vihiga County. A fundraising to offset funeral expenses shall be held at her home today Wednesday 5th April at 10am.

Christine Adamba Luchendo 2812/1971 -211312017

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Christine Adamba Luchendo. Christine Adamba Luchendo was born in !mambo Village, Mukango sub – Location, Shibuye Location, Kakamega East as the second born child to Mr and Mrs Meshack Luchendo. Sister of Isabell Luchendo, Claire Luchendo, Violet Luchendo, Bernard Luchendo, Conceptah Luchendo (USA) and Edwin Luchendo (USA). She leaves behind her husband Justus Odongo two sons Elden and Cliff, nieces and nephews. In November 2014, she started complaining of pressure and headaches which persisted to 2015 when she underwent various tests at Nairobi Hospital, Kenyatta Hospital, Kakamega General Hospital and three other private Hospitals and after 28 tests, it was discovered that she was suffering from Lupus, a disease that affects body organs. In 2016 she was admitted in July, September and December. In January 2017, she was then admitted for 10 days, where it was discovered that her kidneys were severely damaged. Because of this diagnosis, she was required to attend dialysis twice a week. On February 24th she was admitted to Coptic Hospital, and after one week in the general ward she was transferred to ICU since her condition deteriorated. She remained strong battling for her life for 16 days in the ICU, and on the 21st of March 2017 at 8:15pm she rested in the arms of our Lord. She will be laid to rest on the I st April 2017 in Kakamega. May her soul rest in Eternal Peace. It is well in Jesus Psalms 23:6 – Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and the house of the Lord forever.

Faith Wanjiku Kihuria

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Faith Wanjiku Kihuria which occurred on Friday 31st March 2017.

Daughter of the late Kamonde wa Kame and the late Mary Wamuyu of Mutiira Kirinyaga.

Beloved wife of Engineer Lewis Njubi Kihuria. Mother of Ann Wanjiru Bicknel, John Kihuria and Maina Njubi. Sister of Madrine, Margaret and Kamina. Step sister of many. Grandmother of three and great grandmother of one.

Family and friends are meeting daily from 4.00 pm at their residence in Mwariki ‘B’ Pipeline for prayers and funeral arrangements.

Until her demise she was a student at KMTC Kitui. Loving daughter of Morrison Mbuthia and Grace Wanjiru. Sister of Jane Wangechi, Catherine Wangui, Nicholas Maina and Joyce Wairimu. Aunt to Fortune. Grand-daughter of the late Joseph Maina and late Grace Wangui of Kagio-ini village and the late Samuel Nyamu and Jane Wangechi. Niece of Geoffrey Mwangi, Eliud Kanyari, Julius Nguo, Nancy Wanjiru, Lucy Wangari, Mercy Njeri and Alice Wambui, Peter Kirika, John Waboyo, late Rosemary Muthoni, Joyce Wairimu, Dorcas Wangui, Esther Njoki, Simon Karugu and Josphat Maina. She is survived by many cousins and was an aunt to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Murang’a Mukawa Hotel in Murang’a Town from 7.00pm and at her parents’ home (Fashion Plaza) in Murang’a Town, and in Nairobi at Munyaka Paramount Hotel along River Road.

The cortege leaves Murang’a Hospital Mortuary on Friday 7th April, 2017 at 9.00am for funeral service at ACK Kagio-ini Church near Kagio-ini Primary School, and burial thereafter at her parents’ farm in Kagio-ini Village, Murang’a County.
