We are saddened to announce the untimely death of Mrs. Margaret Muthoni Muchiga, which occurred on 27th March 2017 while undergoing treatment since 3rd March 2017. Wife of the late Francis Muchiga. She hailed from Gachiongo village, Ngerwe sub-location, Kirinyaga County.
Her parents were the late Naftaly Nyagah and Jemimah Kanini. Sister of Eunice Mbeere, the late Albert Kimotho, Faith Kabari, Jane Wambia and Dr. Justus Njage. Mother of Anne Wairimu, Sarah Wambui, Zachary Gichobi, Mary Wawira, Nancy Njoki and Beatrice Wanjiru. Mother-in law of Kennedy Mwai, George Maina, Peterson Kamunge and Peterson Muthii. Grandmother of Rose Brendah Muthoni, Caroline Wanjiku, Maureen Muthoni, Bernice Muthoni, Phoebe Njoki, Rose Muthoni, Jasmine Wanjiku, Nathaniel Ngige and Victoria Muthoni. Great-grand mother of Lesley Mutio.Auntie of many.
The cortege leaves Gakwegori Funeral Home tomorrow 4th April 2017.The burial will take place, thereafter at her home.

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Christine Adamba Luchendo. Christine Adamba Luchendo was born in !mambo Village, Mukango sub – Location, Shibuye Location, Kakamega East as the second born child to Mr and Mrs Meshack Luchendo. Sister of Isabell Luchendo, Claire Luchendo, Violet Luchendo, Bernard Luchendo, Conceptah Luchendo (USA) and Edwin Luchendo (USA). She leaves behind her husband Justus Odongo two sons Elden and Cliff, nieces and nephews. In November 2014, she started complaining of pressure and headaches which persisted to 2015 when she underwent various tests at Nairobi Hospital, Kenyatta Hospital, Kakamega General Hospital and three other private Hospitals and after 28 tests, it was discovered that she was suffering from Lupus, a disease that affects body organs. In 2016 she was admitted in July, September and December. In January 2017, she was then admitted for 10 days, where it was discovered that her kidneys were severely damaged. Because of this diagnosis, she was required to attend dialysis twice a week. On February 24th she was admitted to Coptic Hospital, and after one week in the general ward she was transferred to ICU since her condition deteriorated. She remained strong battling for her life for 16 days in the ICU, and on the 21st of March 2017 at 8:15pm she rested in the arms of our Lord. She will be laid to rest on the I st April 2017 in Kakamega. May her soul rest in Eternal Peace. It is well in Jesus Psalms 23:6 – Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and the house of the Lord forever.

She is survived by many cousins and was an aunt to many.
