It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Esther Nyambura Kang’ethe (Mama Sam) on 1^st May 2017 after a bout with Lung Cancer.

She was a business lady in Makongeni, Thika. She hailed from Giathaini village (Sabasaba), Kigumo Division in Murang’a County.

Daugher of Joyce Wanjiru Ngong’u. Mother of Nelson Kang’ethe, Joseph Njogu and Samuel Makumbi. Mother-in-law of Damaris Waithiegeni, Esther Wangechi and Millicent Wambui. Grandmother of Wesley Kang’ethe, Melville Kang’ethe, Bridget Njogu, Brandon Njogu and Samuel Njogu. Sister of Agnes Wanjiku, Joseph Njogu, Mary Njoki, the late Julius Mbau, Phoebe Wamuhu and Eliud Wambu.

The cortege leaves Bishop Okoye Mortuary on Tuesday Esther 9^th May 2017 at 8:00 am for a funeral service and burial thereafter at their home at Goliba starting at 11am.

Loving wife of Anthony Musyoka Muthengi of Safaricom. Doting mother of Ethan Muthengi and Brianna Muusi. Daughter of the late SRM Jones Mwendwa Mbiti and Joyce Nzambi Mwendwa. Daughter-in-law of Mr. Boniface Muthengi and Bibiana Muusi. Sister of Catherine Mwende, Rachael Mawia, Edward Mbiti, Penninah Kaliimu, Zipporah Mukai, Edwin Milaih, Debrafaith Mwikali and Joan Mbuli. Sister-in-law, of Fidelma Kakuthu, Francisca Mutile, Faith Mueni, Daniel Karenga, Pastor- Dennis Muimi, Myke Masila, Diana Mbiti, Anne Milaih Auntie of Joy, Rooney, Ryan, Keith, Daisy, Nicole, Nayla, Leon, Nigel, Shannele, Shawn, Shane, Klaude and Klaive. Grand-daughter of the late Milai Katithi and Naomi tibia and the late Mr Joseph Musyoka and Margaret Kakuthu. Niece of the Milaihs Family, Muli’s Family among others.

Family and friends are meeting daily at the Holy Family Basilica Cathedral Cardinal Otunga Annex, Blessed Nyaatha Hall from 5.20 pm and at her home Kaveta Kitui, for funeral arrangements.

The burial will take place on 13th May 2017 at her home Kaveta, Kitui County.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at Nyarnbura’s residence at Kilimani from 5pm.
There will be a fundraising today Friday 5th May 2017 from 5pm at the All Saints Cathedral to offset outstanding hospital bills. The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home on Tuesday 9th May 2017 at 7am. Funeral service will be held at Kangaita PCEA Church, Nyeri and thereafter burial at Kangaita village.

Lord on 20th April 2017, after a valiant battle
with cancer bravely borne.
Son of the late Barnabas Owuor Yugi and the
late Martina Andhoga. Beloved husband of
Teresa Achieng Hongo. Dear father of Charles
Otieno-Hongo and Janet Odongo, Beatrice
Akinyi Hongo and Julius Bett, Felix Hongo and
Sarah Mijabi, Steven Biko Owino and Roseline
Kerubo and Andrew Emmanuel. Grandfather of
Tamia, lmani, Gael, Aurea, Alden and Emmanuel.
