It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Esther Nyambura Kang’ethe (Mama Sam) on 1st May 2017 after a bout with Lung Cancer.

She was a business lady in Makongeni, Thika. She hailed from Giathaini village (Sabasaba), Kigumo Division in Murang’a County.

Daugher of Joyce Wanjiru Ngong’u. Mother of Nelson Kang’ethe, Joseph Njogu and Samuel Makumbi. Mother-in-law of Damaris Waithiegeni, Esther Wangechi and Millicent Wambui. Grandmother of Wesley Kang’ethe, Melville Kang’ethe, Bridget Njogu, Brandon Njogu and Samuel Njogu. Sister of Agnes Wanjiku, Joseph Njogu, Mary Njoki, the late Julius Mbau, Phoebe Wamuhu and Eliud Wambu.

The cortege leaves Bishop Okoye Mortuary on Tuesday Esther 9th May 2017 at 8:00 am for a funeral service and burial thereafter at their home at Goliba starting at 11am.

The burial will take place on 13th May 2017 at her home Kaveta, Kitui County.
