It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Damaris Chepar Litole which occurred on 17th June 2017.

Daughter of the late John Tumto and Margart Tumto. Wife of the late Wilson Mwotiny Litole. Mother of Angela Chemtai, Brian Poriot, Alvil Cherop, Lee Pogisho, Arabela Cheptoo, Aurelia Cheruto, Boris Powon and the late Alga Chebet. Grandmother of Carl Mwotiny and Poppy Litole. Mother-in-law of Hastings Kisanya. Sister of Janet Joan, the late Stephen, Friday, Rotich, Eva and Abigael. Sister-in-law of Mary, the late Petan and Rosalyn.

The funeral will be held at her home on Tuesday 27thJune 2017 at Kapchila Siyoi location West Pokot County.

It is with regret that we annouce the untimely passing away of Shahinoor on 22nd June 2017.

She was the wife of Mahmud Amirali Visram (Sun N Sand Beach Hotel) and Loving Mother of Salina, Samara and Salmaan. Daughter of Zarin and late Fateh (Bamburi Beach Hotel) and Sister of Alshad Jamal.

The Visram and Jamal families would like to convey their sincere gratitude to all family members and friends for their care, support and prayers during this time.

The funeral will take place on Tuesday, 27th June 2017 at Tudor Jamatkhana Social Hall at 3.15pm and burial will be at 4.15 pm at The Aga Khan Shia lmami Cemetry in Mwembe Tayari, Mombasa.

Days have turned into one year since that most painful moment when you left us for His Glory. We still feel profound pain in our sorrowful hearts as we miss you dearly. Daughter of Mr Francis Bitok, Mrs Rhodah Chepsat and Mrs Dorcas Sang’. Sister of Carolyn, the late Ben, Fridah, Rose, Kibet, Kimutai, Kibiwott, Cheptoo, Jennifer, Kemboi, Rono and Kirwa.

She was niece of the late Kipkemboi, Mr P. Bitok, Mr J. Bitok, Andrew, Margaret, Mr Nyariki, Mr J.Koros, Rebecah Chebet, the late Nancy, J. Tangut, the late John, the late Wilson, Paul, Ruth, Esther, Siie, Chiry and Jonah among others. Cousin of many. Aunt of Albert, Alban, Glenda, Mitchell, Blessed, Chris, Cherop, Elsie, Sandra, Cole, Ethan, Ryan, Kinsley, Sharon, Karen,Adrian, Max among others.

The cortege leaves MTRH Farewell Home on 9th June 017 at 2.00pm for overnight vigil at her father’s house at Jerusalem estate Uasin Gishu County. The funeral will be held at their home on 10th June 2017.

Son of the late Ibrahim Abonyo and the late Ebba Abonyo, step son to the late Rosebeth Abonyo. He was husband to Pamela Juma and father of Adam Ong’ayo, Evelyn Akinyi, Leah Akoth, Rebeccah Anyango and Cornelius Otieno. Brother to Joseph Mgasa, the late George Owino, Mrs. Betty Oyugi, Dr. Julius Okoth, the late Speke Abonyo, Julia Abonyo, the late Speke Abonyo, Julia Abonyo, the late Paul Abonyo, Walter Abonyo, the late Elizabeth Arembo and the late Christine Otete. Uncle of Washington, Anderson, William,Victor, Christopher, Samantha, Robert, Kevin among others. Father in law to Stephen Oranga and grandfather to Nia, Neville and Nathan Denga.

Family and friends are meeting at Garden Square at 5.30p on Wednesday 14th June 2017. Service will be at Citam Kisumu on Thursday 15th June at 4.30 pm.

The cortege leaves Jaramogi Oginga Odinga on 16th June at I0 a.m. Burial will take place at his home in Rawallo village, Gem sub-location, Siaya county.

It is with great sadness that we inform you of the promotion to glory of our beloved Mary Wambui Kimani (formerly of Kenya Railways and Maiden, Massachusetts) which occurred on Monday 12th June 2017.

Loving wife of William Kimani Thiiru of King’eero, Lower Kabete.

Daughter of the late Benjamin Mbugua Mune and the late Esther Nduta and daughter-in-law of the late Zakayo Thiiru Kimani and the late Leah Wanjiku.

She is survived by her children James & Catherine Thiiru, Anne and John Mwaura, Esther & Peter Kamore (US) and Alex & Carolyne Mbugua. Grandmother of Michelle, Hope, Shawn, Lexy, Yasmin, Israel and Collins. Sister of the late John Mune, Rufus Mutuma, Daniel Kahuria and Eng. Edward Kihangu. She was also a treasured cousin, sister-in-law, aunt and friend of many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home in King’eero, Lower Kabete from 5.30pm.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Mortuary at 8.00am on Friday 23rd June 2017 for a funeral service at PCEA King’eero Church, Lower Kabete at 10.00am followed by the burial at PCEA Church of the Torch, Thogoto.
