Philip Okungu and the late mama Lornah Okungu of Racombe Village, South Asembo loation, Rarieda constituency, Siaya county. Brother of the late Mama Patricia Ongila, the late Godfrey Odongo, the late Anne Chite the late Peter Ongega, the late Steve Okungu, the late Julia Osaro. James Odongo. Habib Ochieng, George Okungu and Maria Metho. The cortege leaves the Montezuma Funral home Nairobi on 30th June 21, 2017 for Rakombe Village Asembo. Funeral service will be held at the church of Savior. Awasi on 30th June 21, 2017 and Church of Savior. Racombe parish on 1st July 2017.

1st Anniversary Memorial

Loving husband of the late Susan Wambui Wandeto. Father of Josiah Wandeto, Mwaniki Wandeto, Wagura Wandeto, Nguru Wandeto and the late Gitahi Wandeto. Grandfather of several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Brother of the late Thomas Mwaniki (Halo), the late Mwiyeria, the late Wambui, step-brother of the late Wanjau, the late Thogori, the late Wangechi,Watiro,Wacheke and the late Wanjiku.

He will be laid to rest on Friday 23rd June, 2017.

The cortege leaves Nyeri Funeral Home at 8.30am for a Mass service at his homestead, Kianguta farm-Kigogo-ini,Tetu.

Mary Wangeci Kariithi passed on to her Lord on 18th June 2017. Wife of the Late G.K Kariithi. Mother of Karekia, Njoki, Muthoni, Wacira, Wambere, Ngari and Kibby. Mother in-law of Rachel, Fred, Nganga,Wanjiku, Rachel and the late Wanjiru. Grandmother, great-grandmother, auntie and friend to many.

Friends and relatives will be meeting at All Saints Cathedral from 5:30pm on Tuesday 20th and Wednesday 21st June 2017.The memorial service will be held on Thursday 22nd June, 2:00pm at All Saints Cathedral.

The funeral will be held on Friday 23rd June at I I:00am at the family’s Kiburi home, in Kirinyaga County.

She was born at Kadongo Sub-location, Ojolla. Daughter of the late Mzee Anthony Obongo and Mama Franciscan Dulo. 2nd born of the family of four Brothers and five sisters Namely; bates Marcella, Mama Ida, Maurice,Vallentine,Aloyse, Philip, Petronilla Odindo, Gaudencia Obongo) RIP Sister-in-law: Judith Omolo Obongo. The cortege leaves Christa Marianne Mission Hospital Wednesday 21st June 2017 at 2pm for reception mass at St. Theresa’s Mother House Chapel 4.30pm.

Loving mother in care of Purity Warue Muthathai and John Kathae Jotham. Sister of the late Beatrice Njaria and Njagi Kamuvono. Sister-in-law of Mwita Ngarutua. Doting Grandmother of Pally and Emmy Muchiri(PaemNuts), Tim (Subaru) and Patricia (UN) Philip(NSSF Kiambu) and Brenda Muthathai (UN) and Piera Muthoni (Sidian Bank).  Jimmy and Rose , Jared and Dianah, Jimmy and Jane. We regret to announce the death of Francis Munene Waruhiu (Frank), at the Nairobi Hospital following a short illness on June 12th. Beloved husband of the late Rose Nyambura Waruhiu.

Father of Samuel Wainaina (Waine) and Sarah Wambui (Bobo), and father-in-law of Duncan Kigo Mathenge. Son of the late Clr. David Wainaina Waruhiu and his wife Josephine Wambui Waruhiu. Step-son of Margaret Nduta and Hannah Njoki Waruhiu. Brother of Dr. Doris Kinuthia, Caroline, Daniel, Susan; The late Catherine Wanjiru, Steven Mbugua and Margaret Waruhiu; Erick and Njuguna. Nephew and cousin of the Waruhiu’s (Githunguri), the Ng’ang’a’s, Joe Mungai and the Kepha’s (Kinangop).

A memorial service will be held from 12:00 noon at CITAM Valley Road on Thursday 22nd June, 2017.

Funeral and burial will be at 11:00 am on Friday 23rd June, 2017 at the Waruhiu Family grave Site at Giathieko, Githunguri.
