Father of Hon. Babetuu Amutavy (Shinyalu), John Amu Amutavi, Amelia Amutavi, Jimmy Amutavi, Beatrice Amutavi, Jeffery Amutavi, Peter Amutavi, Jacqueline Amutavi, Gladyce Amutavi, Hon. Benson Amutavi (ODM youth leader – Nairobi), Diana Amutavi, the late Jenipher and JaneAnn. Father-in-law of Jannet, Fidelis, Eveleen, Marsha, Daniel Khadambi and Fred Wabuko. Grandfather of Maureen, Sophie I, Michelle, Fabrizce, Diamond, Esperance, Ell, Sophie II, Ess, Sophie III, David, Sophie IV, Diana, Nia, Brian, Sophie V, Ibrahim, Sophie VI, Sean, O’Neal, Pharell, Zyair, Sophie VII. A fundraising meeting to off-set medical and funeral expenses shall be held at City Hall (Chater Hall) today Tuesday at 5:30 pm.

Memorial service will be held at the Friends International Centre (FIC) Ngong Road on Wednesday 21st June 2017 at 1.00pm.

The cortege leaves Chiromo Mortuary for Kakamega on Thursday 22nd June 2017. The burial will take place at his home Imakhaya Khayega location, Kakamega County on Saturday 24th June 2017.

Daughter of the late Lucas Obura and Christine Akinyi. Beloved wife of Joseph John Okumu. Loving mother of Pauline, Beatrice, the late Isabella, the late Richard, Catherine, Lucia, Stephen, Jacqueline and Brenda. Grandmother of Kimberly, Olga and Andayi.

A major fund raising for the funeral is scheduled in Cardinal Otunga Hall, Holy Family Basilica grounds on Tuesday 20th June 2017 at 5pm.

The requiem Mass is scheduled in Holy Family Basilica on Friday 23rd June 2017 at 2pm.

Burial takes place in Lang’ata Cemetery on Saturday 24th June 2017 at 11am.

Death has occurred of Elizabeth Wambui Karoki of Gitunduti Village, Magutu location, Nyeri County.

She was daughter of the late James Karoki Thinwa and Anna Wanjiku Karoki. She was beloved Mother of Annsylvia Wanjiku of Wambugu Nyamu Academy.

She was sister to the late Mary Karuri, Lucy Wandia Mwangi, Hellen Mumbi, Thomas Thinwa, Angela Gathigia Wachira, John Gitui, Paul Mathenge, Francis Kanyi, Simon Ngatia, Late Lydia Wamuyu and Martha Muthoni Gathua.

Family and friends are meeting daily at P.C.E.A St Andrew’s Church Nyerere Road, Nairobi, from 5.30pm and at her parents home for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Jamii Hospital Mortuary on Friday 23rd June 2017 at 8.00am for funeral service and burial at her parents’ home starting from 11am.

There will be a major fundraising at both venues on Thursday 22nd June 2017. The cortege will leave Montezuma Funeral Home Machakos on 24th June 2017 at 9.00am for a funeral service and burial at his fathers home in Wote Makueni.
