Husband of Mrs Phyllis Wanjiku Macharia. Son of the late Ndugire Waithaka and Tabitha Wambui. He is survived by his children Jane Mburu (of Thorne), Naftaly Ndugire formerly of NEMA, Dr. Peter Ng’ang’a (KALRO Kabete) James Macharia (Cabinet Secretary), John Kuria, the late Simon Muiruri and Mary Muthoni.
Father-in-law of John Gikandi, Lucy Nganga (KILIMO House), Pamela Macharia, Nancy Kuria and the late Roseline Nafula Muiruri.
Brother of Hiram, Musa, Rahab, Wainaina, Fridah, Muiruri, Patrick (all deceased) and Beatrice. Grandfather and great grand father of many.
A thanksgiving service will be held at House 227 Gigiri Gardens (opposite US Embassy) in Gigiri on Monday 12th June, 2017 from 4:30pm to 6:00pm (followed by daily prayers).
Further, family and friends will be meeting for prayers in Nairobi at Holy Family Basilica from 5.30pm to 7.00pm on Tuesday 13th and Wednesday 14th June, 2017 and at his Gachocho home.

It is with great sadness that we share with you that our beloved Margaret Wanjiru Wanjui went to be with the Lord in heaven on Thursday, May 25, 2017.
It was a sudden and unexpected loss. We find some small comfort in knowing that she was on her way to church that morning to celebrate the Feast of the Ascension, which commemorates the Christian belief of Jesus’ ascension into heaven.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at St. Augustine Catholic Church (15th & V Streets, NW) in Washington, DC. There will be a viewing and rosary recitation starting at 10am, and the Mass of Christian Burial will commence at 11am. Burial will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery in NE DC. The location for the repast will be shared at the funeral.
In lieu of flowers, charitable donations may be made in memory of Margaret Wanjui to St. Augustine Church, 1419 V Street NW, Washington, DC 20009. Margaret was an active parishioner at St. Augustine Church for close to 50 years.
She is survived by five children, Clement Mbote, James Mbote, Theresa Atta, Peter Atta and Michael Atta; five sisters; two brothers; four grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. She served as Head Cook at Christ House for over 30 years.

It is with a heavy heart that we Announce the death of Bishop Dr. Josiah Thuku Kambutu on Thursday, June 1st, 2017. Dr. Josiah Thuku was born on December 13th, 1953 in Nairobi, Kenya. He was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in September 2016 and continued treatments until his passing.

He was the Founder of House of Fellowship Church of God where he served faithfully as the Senior Pastor.

He has left behind his widow Joyce Thuku, Sons, Irungu, Mwanzia, Moses, Karungu, Joshua and daughter Kafura.

Friends are meeting daily at the Family Residence located at 4440 Briarwood Ct. S. Annandale, VA 22003 on Mondays to Saturday at 7:30 pm and on Sundays at 6:30 pm.

Mike is survived by daughter Kyla Mweni, son Kyle and widow Margaret Munuhe who is expectant and due in three weeks. They all live in the Atlanta area.
