Son of the late Rev. Zephaniah Obewa and Mama Truphena Oluoch. Husband of the late Mika’ Achieng’. Brother of the late Yusto, Late Esther, Arthur, Miriam and Joseph. Father of Alice, Linet, Marren, Shem, Smith, Eunice, Priscah and Festus. Father in-law to Dalmas, late Edwin, Celine, Monica, Dickens, Maurice and Josephine. Grandfather to Susan, David, Irene, Fiona, Cormac, Sylvia, among others. Great Grandfather to Shawnice.
A Fundraiser will be held on Friday 9th June 2017 at All saints Cathedral , Nairobi, Starting from 5pm. The Cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home on 15th June for his home in Nyakach Agoro, for overnight vigil and Burial on the 16th June 2017.

She hailed from Gikoe village, Kigumo Sub-county, Muran’ga County. Beloved wife of Eliud Muraya Kamau. Mother of Mary Kimemia (HFC Bank), the late Patrick Kamau, Francis Muraya (U.S.A), Teresia Kamande (Malaa), Lucy Muraya (Min. of Health), Beth Muraya-Wainaina (Olepolos Banana). Lydiah Muraya (Italy) and the late Grace Munguti.
Sister of David N’gan’ga and Beth Ngugi of Kandara. Mother in law of Rev. David Kimemia, Tabitha Kamau, Kendra – Larsen Muraya, David Kamande, Jessee Wainaina and Danson Munguti. Grandmother of Tabby, Sue, Aggie, Oscar, Evelyne, Lilian, Solo, Kim, Symo, Morris, Mathew, Brian,Tamara and Zachary.

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to Glory of our beloved mum Rebecca Temba of Ndurio, Kapkurmeny village that occurred on Sunday 4th June 2017 after a long illness.
Daughter of the late Kipkoech Chemwei Temba and the late Tabarno Temba. Sister of the late Elizabeth Tabletgoi, the late Anne Korir, and step-sister of Mary, Ludia, the late Erick, Rosa, Emily and the late Jane. Mother of Hellen Jepchumba, James Cheruiyot, John Temba, Mathew Kirwa and Dina Depleting. Grandmother of 21 children and great grandmother of many.
Family, relatives and friends are meeting daily at her home in Kapkurmeny village (Ndurio Location). The cortege leaves Moi Teaching and referral Hospital mortuary, Eldoret on Friday 9th June 2017 at 9am.The burial will take place on Saturday 10th June 2017 at – home, Kapkurmeny village, Nandi South Sub County.

Following the 14th May demise of Mrs Aurelia Majindiri Ngure of Thika, the Ngure family informs family and friends that her funeral will be held tomorrow Friday, June the 9th. She was widow to the Late Dr Stephen Nicholas Ngure. Mother to Michael Muthu, Ian Anthony Rwangabo, Jennifer Wanjiku (Department of Livestock Production-Muranga), Peggy Kanziga and Winnie Thingo Ngure (both of California, USA).
Grandmother to Eddie Mutinda, Stephanie Aurelia Mutesi and Ineza Majindiri Lopes. Sister to Stephania Gatoya of Nyagatare, Rwanda, the late Peter Sebutsure and the late Augustine Gatengezi. Sister-in-law to Mrs. Karen Thingo Kanari of Nairobi Kenya, Mr. Cyrus Komo of California, USA and the late Joseph Nginyo of Tinganga Kiambu.
Meetings are being held from 7:00 – 9:00pm, at Kiboko Estate in Thika.
The Funeral service will be held at Thika Memorial Church on Gatanga Road on Friday 9th June 2017 at 10:00am, followed by internment at 1:30pm at the family home in Tinganga, Kiambu.

Ruth K. Robert

We thank God for the life, love and time we shared with Ruth K. Robert, a loving and peaceful mentor who passed away on Sunday 4th June 17 at her home in Kithaku, Katheri-Meru. She had a full life well lived for 94 years. She was a loving wife to the Late Robert M’turuciu Baituru and a beloved mother to the Late Julius Muthuri (Katheri), Harriet K. Mwirigi (Nanyuki), Murungi Baituru (Chuka) and Phillip Guantai (Katheri Boys). A caring step mother to the Late Elizabeth Marete, Late Silah Kathambi, Kinanu Mhurugu, Evangeline Bariu and Henry Mwongera Robert. A loving mother-in-law to Emily Muthuri, Late Stephen Mwirigi M’inoti, Fatuma Murungi and Stella Guantai. Cherished grandmother to Kinoti, Kirimi, Nkirote, Mworia, Murithi, Gakii, Mike, Murugi, Muchiri, Late Shawn, Mutwiri, Mwirigi, Mutuma, Mukami and Kirinya. A dotting great grandmother to many. The cortege leaves Chiromo Funeral Palour on 15th June 2017.The first service will be conducted at Chiromo Mortuary while the second service will be conducted at Uhuru Estate. Both will be led by the Gospel Holiness Church.The burial ceremony will be held on Saturday 17th June 2017 at his home in East Uyoma Rageneni.
