We regret to announce the sudden untimely death of our father and great leader Major General (Rtd) Joseph Kasaine Nkaissery EGH, CBS. The rock pillar and strength of our family.

Son of the late Sein and the late late Oitsoy Nkaissery. Loving husband of Helen Pilale. Beloved father of Siopot, Solita, Oitsoy and Mumeita. Grandfather of Yiantet. Brother of Silale, Letemo, the late Siroma, Semengur, Sabaya and Rono. Step brother, brother-in-law, God father and uncle of many.

He was until his untimely passing away the Cabinet Secretary of Interior and National Coordination for the Republic of Kenya. Former Member of Parliament for Kajiado Central and Assistant Minister of Defence. A distinguished General in the Kenyan Defence Forces.

The funeral committee is meeting at Charter Hall, City Hall, Nairobi from 5pm.

Family and friends are gathering for prayers daily at his Bissil Farm, Kajiado County and at his home in Karen from 5pm.

He will be laid to rest on Saturday 15th July 2017 at his Bissil Farm, Kajiado County.

We regret to announce the death of Christine Wachera Wamwati of Tewa Training Centre —Vipingo, which occurred on 5th July, 2017 at the Nairobi Hospital. She was born on 22nd January 1952 in Kanyenya-ini village, Muranga County.

She lived in Nigeria from 1979 to 2016. She was instrumental in running various projects of the Womens Board – Educational Cooperation Society in Lagos and Iroto.

Daughter of the late Sebastian Wamwati Karuri and the late Grace Njambi Wamwati. Sister of the late Editter Njeri, the late Zawelia Wachuka, the late Mary Wangari Wamwati, Martha Wangui Karanja, Hannah Nduta Kagodoseph Karuri and the late John Kamau. Step-sister of Stephen Macharia, Joseph Karuri, Editter Njeri and Julietta Mwihaki.

The cortege will leave the Lee Funeral Home at 4.30 p.m. on Monday, 10th July for an overnight vigil to be held in the Chapel of Kianda School, starting with Mass at 6.00 p.m. The funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, 11th July at 9.30 a.m. followed by the burial at the Langata cemetery.
