Ben Mogaka, the late Nyomenda, Hellen, John and Ezekiel Omweri. Son-in-law of the late Pastor Nathaniel Nyanusi and the late Nyanswe. Father-in-law of Grace Gathambo, Stephen Ngunyi, Charity Kigotho and Christopher Njoroge. Brother of the late Thiong’o, Gichuki, Gathogo,Wanja and Kiiru, Simon Githinji and Wanjiku Mwaniki. Daughter of the late Zakayo Wegulo and the late Anna Uluma of Navakholo, Kakamega.  Wife of the late Samuel Ondondo Muroka of Ebulakayi, Khwisero; beloved mother of   Arthur (UK.), Sharon (UK), Sheila (UK) and David Ondondo (Switzerland). Sister of Geoffrey Egessa, Maudy Navalayo, Zilpa Wawire, Mable Situma,  Prof. Francis Wegulo (Egerton University) and David Musi. Sister-in-law of Peninah Wawire, Peris Wawire,  Nancy Egessa, Monica Wegulo, josephat Situma, Grace Muroka. Mary Muroka and Tabitha Otenyo, among others. Aunt and grandmother of many in the Wegulo, Musi, Muroka, Muyonga and Aliongo families among others; Cousin and family friend to many.

There will be a major Fundraising meeting on Tuesday (today) 18th July. 2017 at Tumaini House, Opposite KENCOM House, starting at 5.30 p.m. The body will be flown from Britain to Nairobi on Thursday, 27th July. 2017. The Funeral Service and Burial will be held on Saturday 29th July. 2017 at her home in Ebulakayi-Munyanza, Kisa Central, Khwisero Sub County, Kakamega County. starting  at 10.00am.

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Senior Council Francis Gichure Kariuki occurred on Friday 14th July, 2017 at Nairobi West Hospital.

Husband of Anne Wanjiru Gichure. Father of Charity Wangui Gichure, Gideon Kariuki Gichure and Benjamin Mwangi Gichure.

Son of the late Mzee Kariuki Thuku, Flora Wanjiru Kariuki  and Felitilina Njeri Kariuki. Son-in-law of the late Simon Kariuki Ngunjiri and Grace Wangui Kariuki. Brother of the late Lawrence, Mary, Gregory, Richard, Benson, Lucy, late Teressa, Daniel, Rosemary, Samuel, Joseph, Boniface, Simon, Nancy and Peter.

Friends and family are meeting daily at All Saints Cathedral starting 5.30pm for prayers and burial preparations.

There will be a memorial service at All Saints Cathedral Nairobi on Friday 21/7/20117 starting 12 noon.

Interior), the late Charles Njoroge, Douglas Ngigi & Beatrice Wambui, James Kinuthia & Miriam Nyakio, Karaya Gathuthi, Njogu Gathuthi and Wamuyu Gathuthi. Nephew of James Ng’ang’a (KARI), Bedan Mbugua and Henry Mwangi (Moto), the late Monicah Mahika (Narok), the late Grace Ngugi (Thika), Miriam Waithera (Germany),Waithera (Njoro), Josephine Gathoni (Njoro), Jane Njeri (Nairobi), Susan Wangari (Lanet) and Ann Wanjiku (Elburgon). The family of the late James Ngaruiya Mbugua, wish to express our gratitude to all those who stood by us during this very difficult time We deeply appreciate and give thanks to each -and every one of you for your love, kindness, prayers, words of support, messages of sympathy, gifts and material support. Please accept our sincere appreciation for all you did for us,

A special thank you to his physicians, Dr. Daniel Mukiri Githegi and Dr Brenda Kiiru, the medical staff of Avenue Hospital and of MP Shah Hospital and also to all those who attended to him during his illness.

We thank the PCEA Church, particularly Rev Edward Karanja. Rev Nehemiah Mburu and Elder Charles Karigithu, PCEA Thindigua parish, PCEA St. Joseph Ngwaci, Rungiri and PCEA St. Margarets Church, Mombasa and also Nairobi Chapel and Mamlaka Hill Chapel for their ministry, pastoral care and prayers during this season.

Son of the late Jonathan Matete and the late Mama Nora Khainja of Andanya area Angurai Sub-location, Angurai location Teso North District. Brother of the late Samson Odongo, Bramwel Wanyonyi, Margaret Ngesa, Jennifer Nambuya, Jane Nasimiyu, Eunice Nuyana, and the late Ronald Lakombe. Gilbert Mabuga. Julius Kimotho, Joseph Muriuki, Rose Wanjiru, Simon Wanjau, Stephen Mwangi and Jacob Maina. Daughter-in-law of the late Diomede Macai and Sarafina Kori. Mother-in-law of Catherine Wanjiku, Phides Wairimu, Simon Maina, Marion, Julius Mithamo and Peter Muhindi, grandmother and great grandmum of many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home Kianyaga Town in Kirinyaga County. The cortege will leave Kibugi Funeral Home Kutus on Thursday 20th July 2017 at 9.00am for a funeral service at Kianyaga Catholic church from 10.30 am and thereafter a burial at her home farm Kariru.
