We announce the untimely death of Bernadette Bosibori Somoni which occurred on 17th April 2025.

She is a daughter of the late Gaudence Kinaro and the late Nyarangi Nyanchera.

She is wife of the late Peter Motoki Somoni (Senior Chief Bonchari). She is co-wife of the late Teresa and Priscah Moraa.

Mother of the late Rose, late Philomena, late Mary, John, Agnes, Hellen and Jacqueline. Stepmother of Irene, Kennedy, Joseph, George, Lydiah, Alloys and Gladys, Elsie,Olpha and Asnath.

She is mother-in-law of Beatrice Mwoma, Joyce, Jacqueline, Gladys and Lydiah.

She is sister-in-law of Magoma and Nyanchera. Korera of Mwoma, Chweya, Mariga, Gesabwa and Ochenge (All late).

Grandmother of the Motokis, the Nyakaritas, the Asandes, the Mogires, and Antony.

Her procession from Nyansiongo morgue will be on Thursday 1st May, 2025. She will be buried on Friday 2nd May,2025 at her home in Kijauri, Nyansiongo settlement Scheme.

It is with deep sorrow and shock that we announce the sudden demise of Fred Osoro Nyakundi of Tindereti Settlement Scheme which occurred on Friday, 25th April 2025, following an unfortunate attack by a rogue bull on Wednesday, 23rd April 2025.

Beloved son of the late Samuel Nyakundi and the late Yunes Nyaboke. A cherished brother of the late Charles On’gera, the late James Omesa, the late John Mokaya, Kennedy Sangaka, Elijah Kibagendi (Kenyenya TTC), Pamella Ombego (USA), Joyce Mongina (KICD), Margaret Bosibori (Fort Energy), and Beatrice Kerubo (Cooperative Bank). Loving father of Sammy Osoro.

Family and friends are meeting daily at the Tindereti home.

There will also be memorial meetings and prayers today, Thursday, 1St May 2025 at LMS – Nairobi Central Church starting at 2:30 p.m.

The burial will be held on Monday, 5th May 2025 at their family ome in Tindereti Settlement Scheme, Nyamira County.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday 6th May 2025 at Ntharene MCK Church at 10.00am. She will be laid to rest at her farm in Rutuntu Village, Meru County the same day.

She was beloved wife of William Muigai Kihonge (Volcanic Plumbing Works). Mother of Captain Peter M Muigai (Skyward Airlines), Stephen Kihonge (USA), Francis Kariuki and the Late Naomi Wamaitha. Doting Grandmother of Max, Leo, Razi (USA), Aviyah (USA), Hope (USA), Bella (USA), Ebenezer (USA),Tiffany, Makena and Wangechi.

Sister of the late Erastus Mbaabu, the late Esther Kariu and Joyce Thirende.

Wilson Marira Kamau

6th April 1958 – 26th April 2025

It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Wilson Marira Kamau, a Director at Wileyce Preparatory School and former employee of ICDC, who passed away on April 26. 2025 following a cardiac failure. We now gather to embrace his legacy amid our grief as we bid him farewell.

Wilson was a son of the late Peter Kamau Kionga and the late Flora Wanjeri Kamau.

He leaves behind his wife Alice Wanja Nyaga and children Lynn Wanjeri Marira (Kampala International University) and Vannessa Muthoni Marira (JKUAT).

Son-in-law of the late Ephantus Nyaga and Esther Muthoni Nyaga.
