It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the departure to glory of Anna Mwikali Benjamin Kyaka which occurred on the morning of Sunday June 1, 2025, at the Mwingi Specialist Hospital.

She was the first born daughter of the late Mzee Sammuel Muna Lumbu and late Beata Kavuti.

She was beloved wife of the late Benjamin Kyaka Mwei and beloved mother of Major General George Kyaka (rtd), Muna, Makau, Mutethya, Kimanzi, Kelly, Munuve, Joshua and Kavuti

She was sister of late Lenah (Maamu), late Margaret, late Philip, late Kamote, Tabitha, Kinyungu, Martha, Rhoda, late Isaiah, and late Munanie.

She was mother in law of Stella Ndana, Eunice Muna, Christine Makau, Monica Makau, Major General Joseph Kivunzi (rtd), Stella Kimanzi, Lydia Kimanzi, Zipporah Kelly, Eunice Munuve, Elizabeth Mbunya, and Mureithi Koome,

Mama Anna Mwikali had 35 grandchildren among them Ben Kyaka, Mumo, Annah Mwikali, Vicky, Shedrack and Emma. She also had 15 great grandchildren among them, Joan, Mutethya, and Noel.

The cortege leaves the Tribute Funeral Home Syongila Kitui on June 14, 2025 at 7:00 am and the funeral service will take place at Mwanzenge AIC Church grounds from 10 am and thereafter the burial will be at her home in Mwanzenge Village, Migwani Sub-county, KITUI County.

With humble acceptance of God’s will, we announce the passing of Rosemary Njeri Waweru of Thaara Auctioneers, Mombasa, which occurred on 4th June 2025.

She was the beloved daughter of the late John Waweru and the late Monica Wambui.

She was Devoted mother of Susan Wambui and John Waweru. Cherished mother-in-law to Victoria Wasike.

Rosemary was a loving sister of Elizabeth Wanjiru, the late Lydia Nyaruiru, the late Paul Munene, the late Salome Wanjiku, Mary Waruguru, Samuel Wambu, and Samuel Kogi.

Sister-in-law of the late Pius Wandie, Boniface Kilemi, the late Martin Thoithi, the late Simon Ndungu, Grace Wahu, and Fridah Karimi.

She was Doting Grandmother of Ryan Njoroge, Ronnie Wambu, and Tifanny Njeri.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and support at her rural home in Ting’ang’a Village, Kiambu, Kiambu County.

Rosemary was a member at PCEA Milele Church, Milele Parish.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Referral Funeral Home on Thursday, 12th June 2025, at 8:00 AM for the Funeral Service at PCEA Ting’ang’a Parish (Thaara), followed by burial at her rural home.

He was husband of the late Janet Apambo, the late Zipporah Ayuka, Benta Akinyi, Mary Nechesa and Consepta Namalwa.

Brothel of the late Hon Joshua Angatia (former MP Malaya), the late Meshach, Shem Shitokani, the late Hannah, the late William, Hellen Barasa and Elizabeth Chilongo.

Father of Mary Nyamisi, Benson Mukonyi, the late Anyona, Charles Muyale (formerly of Nzoia Sugar Co), Kennedy Chitala (former WHO), Grace, the late Alice, Shiyuka, Commissioner-Emeritus Suzanne Sharikha, Mulanda, Muyaka, Livisia, Murambii and Rhoda. He had 51 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren. Marko was Forster father, uncle, in-law and benefactor of many.

Former employee of (EA) Kenya Posts & Telecommunications, former Chairman and a current Trustee of the National Samo Council, a beloved elder in Kabras.

His body will leave the mortuary on 16th June 2025 for burial on 18th June 2025 at his home in Sharnoni Village of Malaya Sub-County.

The late Stephen Gachini was the cherished son of the late Peter Moko, the late Hannah Njoki and the late Elizabeth Wangui. He was a beloved brother of Kamau, Kahunyuro, Wanjiru, Gachini, Wambui, Mburu, Kahunyuro, Gitau, the late Wanjiru and the late Wambui.

He was the devoted husband of Jane Wangechi Gachini, and a loving father of Mary Njoki – Ol kalou, Michael Moko Menengai Hospital, Nakuru, John Gitau National Bank Headquarters, Patrick Kamau Kiambu Level 5 Hospital, Dr. James Mwangi – Consultant Surgeon, Elizabeth Wanjiku – Githunguri Level 3 Hospital, Dr. Samuel Gachini (PhD) – DT Global International. He was a proud and loving grandfather of many and a mentor to countless others.

The late Stephen Gachini serded with distinction at National Bank, Nakuru, until his retirement.

The cortege leaves 3M Memorial Hospital, Ol Kalou, on Thursday, 12th June 2025, for the funeral service and burial as his home in Passenga Village, Ol Kalou, Nyandarua County.
