It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Boniface Maina Mwangi Jasho of Bonds Restaurant, who was called to eternal rest.

Boniface was the beloved son of the late James Mwangi Jasho, the late Naomi Njeri Jasho, and the late Joyce Wambui Mwangi.

A devoted father, he leaves behind his cherished children: Ian Mwangi Jasho, Nicole Wambui, Alvan Mwangi, and Kristy Njeri.

He was a treasured brother of Esther Mwangi of Bond’s Restaurant (Mama Steve — Gikomba), Grace Mwangi Muteithia, George Jasho, Patricia Mathenge, Joseph Maina, Peter Chege, Grace Wairimu, John Maina, Rose Wanjiku, Jimmy Mwangi, Elijah Mwangi, Pauline Njeri, and Mary Wangui.

Brother-in-law of Tom Muteithia, Philomena Karanja, Robert Mathenge, Shiro Maina, Peter Thuo, and Stellamarris Mburu.

A doting uncle of Michelle & Claudio, Andrew & Maureen, Nyaga & Maryanne, Steve, Joe, Diana, Sophie, Mwangi, Randy, Stephanie, Mellissa, Tony, Alex, Allan, Chantelle, Jimmy, Heather, Stacy, Rihanna, Tamira, Kelsey, TG, Bambino, Aaron, Tranel, Tatyana and Jaylah. He was also a loving cousin and a dear friend to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at Holy Family Basilica from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, beginning Monday, 21st July 2025 to Wednesday, 23rd July 2025 and also at his home in Magiwa Estate.

The cortege will leave Lee Funeral Home on Friday, 25th July 2025 at 8:00 AM, proceeding to the Jasho family home, Ruai for the funeral service and final rites, which will commence at 10:00 AM.

Boniface will be remembered for his warmth, wit, strength, and the unwavering love he extended to his family and community. May his soul rest in eternal peace.

It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Joash Victor Tindi Mosi, which occurred on 10th July 2025.

Joash was the beloved son of Mr. Edward Tindi Mosi and Dr Alice Tindi (USA), and a cherished brother of Paul Mbuya Tindi (Maseno University),Wilson Mosi (USA), and Trizer Smith (USA).

He was a loving brother-in-law of Jason Smith (USA) and a devoted Uncle of Mackayla, Jason, and Mackenzie Smith (USA).

He was a dedicated Law student at the University of Nairobi – Kisumu Campus.

He was the grandson of the late Mzee Joash Mosi and Mama Damaris Ngere Mosi, also Dorina Nyadewo Mosi all of Konyango Jieri, Kendu Bay, Karachuonyo, Noma Bay County. On the maternal side, he was the grandson of the late Athanasio Ochola and the late Theresa Juma Ochola of Nyakach.

Joash was a nephew of the late Benard Masi, the late Samson Mosi, Prof. Reuben Mosi JOOUST), Odhiambo Mosi, the late Elizabeth Othim, the late Monica Opiyo, Florence Moronge, the late Jacob Mosi,the late Lawrence Mosi, the late Stephen Mosi, the late Eudia Agin, Peres Ouma, Grace Aringo, Jeniffer Agingu, and the late Carnel Acioyo, His aunts included the late Peres Onduto, Margret Onduto, Salome Mosi, Grace Mosi, Josephine Mosi, Jane Odhiambo, and Dr. Ruth Otiang”a. On the Maternal Side, Nephew of Monica Nyaoro (USA), the late Dr. Francis Okumu, Susan Ochola, the late Herine Onyango, Amos Ochola/Millicent (USA), Jared Ochola/Marren, Julius Nyerere Ochola, and many other uncles and aunties from Nyakach.

Joash is survived by numerous paternal cousins, including John Ouko (UK), Lorretta Ojukwu, Rose Ochieng, Harry Mosi, Dr. Emmanuel Mosi (USA), Dr. Philip Mosi, James Moronge, Janette Mosi, Mirriam Chacha, Lydia Odero (USA), Joash Mosi, Job Otianga, Eng. Laban Mosi, Treezer Mosi (USA), Eng Joshua Ouma, Eng George Ouma, Caroline Othim, Evans Othim among many others. Maternal cousin of Trezah Clark (USA), Dorcas Okoth (USA), Nelson Okoth (UK), Dr. Mitchel Okumu, Beatrice Atieno, Nancy Aziza, and beloved others.

The cortege leaves JOOTRH Mortuary on Thursday, 24th July 2025, and burial will take place on Friday, 25th July 2025, at his father’s home in Kabong’o Village, Konyango Jieri, Kendu Bay.

1946 – 2025

It is with deep sorrow and heartfelt respect that we announce the passing of Councilor Dionisio Gabriel Nduma Minigi, who departed this life on Wednesday, 9th July 2025, following a prolonged illness bravely borne.

He was the beloved son of the late Stephen Minigi Nyingi and the late Damaris Mwendia Minigi.

A devoted husband of Mrs. Josephine Muthoni Nduma, retired Agriculture Extension Officer, and a loving father of Dr. Immaculate Njuthe, Adrian Kinyua, James Muriithi, Peter Mutwari, John Munyi, Lucy Mbuya, Boniface Mwangangi, and Grace Njoki.

He was a cherished father-in-law of Dr. Harun Maina Warui, Annette Namirembe, Anne Nkirote, Stella Muthoni, Mary Warijira, Hezekiah Kidali, and Kennedy Banda.

He was a proud grandfather of William, David, Lucas, Precious, Peniel, Cyril, Beryl, Benny,Tishina, Immaculate, Tristan, Tiffany, Neerna, Bright, Josephine, Ewinnet, Keiza, Briella, Chokhmah, Kyla, Mugezi and Mpagi,

Cllr. Dionisio was a loving brother of Margaret Camu, the late Susan Wakere, Andrew Nyaga, Gideon Ngiri, Penina Gaku, and the late Virginia Mbandi.

He was also a brother-in-law of the late Benjamin Njuki, the late Njue Gitumbi, Elizepher Nyaga, Justa Ngiri, Benjamin lreri, and Wilson Njeru.

He was a beloved uncle, grandfather, and great-grandfather to many, and was deeply admired by the wider community for his wisdom, humility, selfless leadership, and dedicated service.

The cortege will leave Gakwegori Funeral Home, Embu, on Friday, 25th July 2025, at 9:00 a.m., for burial at his home in Kamarangi, Gicharu Village, Mavuria Ward, Mbeere South Sub-County. Embu County. A Catholic funeral service will be held at the graveside as we honour a life of faith, purpose, and lasting impact.

Born in 1951, Mary was a cherished daughter of the late Rtd LR Michael Kimuli Katunge (OSB) and the late Loise Ndue Kimuli, and a beloved daughter-in-law of the late Raymond Kiiti and the late Hellen Kaswii Kiiti.

She was a devoted wife of the late Francis Kithuku Kai, and a loving mother of Petronilla Kanini & Stephen Muthusi, Kyalo Kithuku & Victoria Ndinda, Mark & Alice, and a guardian mother of Faith Nthambi & Dalton Mbondo.

A proud and affectionate grandmother of Agnes Wanza & Joseph Gacheru, Juvinaries Ndunda & Christine Mwongeli, Veronica Muthusi & Apollo Ndege. Francis Kithuku, Mary Kyalo, Janet Kyalo, Meshack Kyalo, and Tristan Kithuku. Great-grandmother of Cayden, Nolan, Alyssa, Clan, and Ariella.

Sister of Marigu Mwathi, Wambeti Mvungu, late Nyaga (Biro), the late Murithi, Rachel and late Ndwiga. Sister-in-law of Gicugu, the late Esther, Murithi, Rosaline, Nyaga, Margaret, Purity, the late Njiru, Mercy, Njeru,Wanja and Mophat. Cousin, aunt, niece, and friend to many.

She hails from Ngimari Village, Manyatta, Embu County.

Funeral service will be held at ACK Emmanuel church, Kigari on Friday 25th July2025. Thereafter, she will be laid to rest at her Ngimari home near Manyatta in Embu.

A requiem mass will be held on Wednesday 23rd July at ACK St. Joseph of Arimathea church in Thome Estate at 3.00pm.

Meetings will take place on Monday 21st and Tuesday 22nd at the All-Saints Cathedral from 5.O0prn. Daily prayers are being held at her residences at Four Ways estate off Kiambu road from .00pm and at Ngimari near Manyatta in Embu.

It is with profound sadness we announce the death of Celestine Awino Rarieya on 1 July 2025, while receiving care in the ICU at Aga Khan Hospital, Mombasa.

Cherished wife of the late Leonard Rarieya Asin, beloved daughter of the late Rufinus and Birgita Afuande of Rang’ala and daughter in-law of the late Benedict and Laetitia Asin of Sakwa, Bondo.

She was a devoted mother of Jane, Rosemary, Oscar, James, Elizabeth, Fred, Angela and Maggie Rarieya. Mother-in-law of Sam Omole, Esther Mwaura, Dorcas Obonyo, Joris Ankersmith, Bethseba Okiya and Andre Thomas.

A loving grandmother of Keith, Shane, Bridgit, Celestine, Jeremy, Sharlene, Silas, Stacey, Samantha, Tatiana, Tamara and Aviel. Great-grandmother of Samara and Jabari.

She was sister of Maria, Josephine, Patricia, the late Bernadette, Mary, Hegga, Joseph and Philip Afuande.

Sister-in-law of Elizabeth, Helen and Sylvia and the late Pius, Peter, Dolphin, Gabriel and Emmanuel Asin. She was also a beloved mother, aunt and friend to many.

Daily prayers are being held at her home in Tudor, Mombasa at 6:30 p.m.

She was a grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother to many.

Family and friends are meeting at her son James L. Nyagah’s Home, near Kwamakuru Market, Kiritiri Division, Mbeere South Sub-County, Embu County, from 3.00 pm to 5.00 pm daily for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Gakwegori Funeral Home on Tuesday, 22nd July 2025 at 9:00 am.The burial service will take place on the same day at ACK St. Mark’s Kerwa Church, and thereafter, burial at her home, Kiambuu Village, next to Kerwa Primary and Secondary Schools Embu County.
