The cortege leaves KTRH Funeral Parlor on 17July,2025,for burial on Friday 18 July 2025 at her Keginga home.

Rodah Kiptes Kiptaiwa

It is with deep sorrow and profound shock that we announce the passing of Rodah Kiptes Kiptaiwa of Kalel Village, Tiriondonin Location,Kabartonjo Ward,
Baringo North Sub-County and a resident of Tumaini Farm, Kabarak.Until her
retirement, the late Rodah Kiptes worked with Kenya Railways in Nairobi

The late Rodah was the beloved daughter of the late Wilson Kiptes Sesat and Kobilo Kiptes.

Loving wife of the late Solomon Kiptaiwa. She was a devoted mother to seven
children Judy Jerop, Beatrice Jepsergon,Oliver Kipyegon, Kelly Jebet, Daisy
Jepkosgei, Emily Jemutai and lan Kipngetich.

She was a cherished grandmother to Rooney, Ruby, Ella, Elijah, Charles, Tamera,
Shirley, Travis, Tyler, Maya and Myles

She was also a dear motherinlaw to Benson Boinett, Enock Tarus, Kimosop Cherop and Lekek Chebii. She was a loving aunt to many, including Kibengo, Kiptes, Wangare, Mwangi, Maureen, Valentine, Ken, Moses, Judy, Joanne and Vincent among others.

Funeral arrangements are currently underway in Kalel Village and Nairobi with the fundraising meetings scheduled to be held in Nairobi on Tuesday, 15th  July 2025 from 4.00pm at the All Saints Cathedral, and in Kalel Village on Wednesday, 16th July 2025.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, 9th July 2025, at Kalel Village in Baringo North Sub-County.

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to glory of Lucy Wanjiku Kiriba on Sunday, 6th July 2025.

Beloved daughter of Christopher Ndegwa and JacintaWambui Ndegwa.

Wife of Joseph Kiriba. Loving mother of James Karoki and Beth Njeri, Dorothy Wambui, Paul Ndegwa and Faith Njambi and Tumaini Njeri.

Sister of James Thairu, the late John Karanja, Moses Kinyanjui, Nancy Wamucii, Tabitha Waruiru, the late Magdalene Wanjiru, Jane Waceke and Margaret Njeri.

Cherished grandmother of Joseph Kiriba, Lucy Wanjiku, Robert Mutuku, Joseph Karoki, Joy and Joan Karoki, among others. She was a sister-in-law, auntie, cousin, grandmother, and dear friend to many.

Daily meetings are being held at her parents’ home in Kabiria from 4:00pm, and at her home in Thika Greens from 5:00pm.

The funeral service and burial will take place on Wednesday, 16th July 2025 at her farm in Engineer, Kinangop. The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Teaching and Referral Funeral Home at 8.00 am to her farm.

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Peter Njoroge Ngugi (Baba Gathoni) on 4th July 2025 after a long illness bravely endured. He was a respected and devoted retired teacher, great mentor and role model to many.

Beloved son of the late Ngugi and the late Gathoni.

Father of Gathoni, Wambui, Ngugi and the late Mwangi. Father-in-law to Prof. George Karani (GK) and Nyokabi.

Mwalimu Rose Nechesa Sakwa (Dada katika Yesu)

We regret to announce the death of Martha Nyambura Gikingo, that occurred on 4th July 2025 after a short illness at Kenyatta University Referral Hospital.

She was the daughter of the late Kariu Mugweru and the late Ruth Wanjeri.

Wife of the late David Macharia Gikingo. Mother of John Gikingo, Esther Muthoni, Shumi Rose-Emily Miskowicz, the late Kennedy Kariu, George Gatei, Zipporah Wanjiru, Emily Wambaire, Tabtha Wangechi and Charles Mwai.

John Kipkemboi Sum

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of John Kipkemboi Sum on Thursday, July 3, 2025.

Son of the late Gilbert Kipkoech Sum and the late Emilyana Sum of Kabiyet, Nandi County.

Loving husband of Anne Chelagat and Janet Wanyama. Devoted father of Josephat, Joy, Stacy, Jeff, Angela and Agatha.

A treasured brother of the late Jane, the late Alfred, the late Anne, the late Magdalene, Priscila, Beatrice, Geoffrey, and Irene.

He was a cherished grandfather, uncle, cousin, nephew, mentor, and friend co many.

Relatives and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at his rural homes in Kabiyet and Sugoi and at St Paul’s University Chapel in Nairobi.

A requiem mass will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at St Paul’s University Chapel, Nairobi.

The cortege leaves Nairobi for an overnight vigil in Kabiyet, Nandi County, on Friday, July 18. Burial will take place at his home in Kabiyet on Saturday, July 19, 2025.
