Sister of Petronilla Adipo, the late Joanes George Obiero and Leonora Anyango Osundwa.

Mother of Gaudenzia Ochieng, the late Teresia, the late Maria Molla, Euphemia Adhiambo Mukhusia, Imelda Achieng, Sr. Prof. Agnes Lucy Lando (Daystar University), Consolata Awino, the late Carolyne Awuor.

Sister-in-law of the late Petro Oluoch, Romanus Osundwa, Adhiambo Obiero, the late Marcela Odongo, the late Salome Ombingo, the late Henry Ombonya, the late Oluoch, Achola and the late Leonadus Otieno, among others.

The cortege leaves St. Elizabeth Mukumu Mission Hospital Morgue on 12th July at 2.00PM, then Requiem Mass at 3.00 PM at Lutonyi Parish. The burial ceremony will be held on 14th July 2025 at Shikhambi Village, Kakamega.

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Pete-Gathingo Mbugua of Dagracia Center, Ruai and formerly Director of Heru Shade, Ruiru, which occurred on 3rd July 2025.

He is a son of the late Sebastian Mbugua Gathingo and Veronica Heta of Miguta Githunguri.

A loving husband of Bernadette Wanjiku Gathingo. Father of Freda Heta Gathingo and Hellen Wanjiru Gathingo – Mwai. He is father-in-law of Edward Mwai. Grandfather of Daryl G. Karuri, Dylan Mwai, Darnell Mwai and Dominic Mwai.

Brother of Hannah Nduta, Michael Mwenda, Lucy Nyandia, Joseph Gitau and the late Monica Wanjiku, Geoffrey Njoroge, Teresia Nungari, Margaret Wangui and Mary Wanjiru.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his residence Dagracia Center, Ruai from 6.00pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Referral and Research Hospital Funeral Home on Ir July 2025 at 8.00am for funeral service at Dagracia Center Ruai at 11am thereafter burial at the same venue.

It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of Gods will that we announce the passing on of our beloved mother and grandmother, Esther Wambui Gikonyo, who passed away in her sleep on July 9th, 2025.

Esther was the cherished daughter of the late Joseph Ndirangu Wakahiu and the late Jane Wangechi Nyathogora.

She was the devoted wife of the are Peter Gikonyo Kambo. A loving mother of Vincent Kambo, the late Immaculate Njeri, Teresa Nioki, Pius Ndirangu:, Anastacia Wairuri, Mwangi Gikonyo, Francis Ndungu and Cecilia Wanjiku. She was a beloved mother-in-law of Teresa, Dr. Gachiri, the late Philomena, Karania, Waniiru-Githongo, Grace and Kariithi.

Sister of the late Wanjiku, Ndungu and the late Juliet, among others. Sister-in-law of Meshack Mwangi Kambo, Shadrack Kibe, Rebecca Wacera Wambugu and Hulida Wanjiku Ngururi. She was aunt of many.

She was a treasured grandmother of Fred, Gags, Kevin, Kesh, Muthoni, Kiminda, George, Warungu, Vincent, Esther Ndirangu, June, Mark, Wambui Karanja, Bakhitat Annuarite, Konya, Esther Ndungu, Ciru,Tiffy, Jonathan and Esther Kariithi, among many others. She was also blessed with numerous great-grandchildren.

The cortege will depart from Montezuma Funeral Home in Nairobi promptly at 6.00 AM on Tuesday, July 15th, 2025, for Nyahururu. The funeral service will commence at Mary Mother of Grace Catholic Church in Ol Jabet Centre, where the congregation is kindly requested to be seated by 10:00 AM for speeches and tributes. The Requiem Mass will follow at 11:00 Am. Immediately after the Mass, our dear Mum will be laid to rest at her homestead in Gwa-Keri Village, Ol Jabet, Marmanet, Nyahururu.

who was born in 1972 and rested on 4th July 2025.

He was the beloved son of Jairus and Getrude Majani. Brother of Meddy Obbayi,

Tredi Majani.

Tredi was a loving cousin and uncle to many.

She was loving mother in-law of Galina Kimani, Phoebe Munderu and Nate Kowal. Loving grandmother of Wendy Wambui Maina, Brian Njenga, Gavrie Maina Kimani, Mischa Munderu Kimani, Bakhita Nieri, Georgina Wanjiru, Nadya Wambui, Sage Wambui Kowal, Leslie Kilei Munderu, Liam Maina Munderu, Cecilia Wambui Munderu, Kyle Kimani Munderu, Skyler Walter Kimani, Sophie Wakili Munderu and Creed Kimani Kowal. She was sister of Margaret Waichira, Joyce Wairimu, Priscilla Wangui, Teresia Wanjiru, Catherine Wangari, Anne Waiyego, Elizabeth Wacuka, the late John Mwangi, the late Augusta Muthoni, the late Moses Gakobo, Julius Maina, Boniface Macharia and Esther Nyaguthii, a dear sister in law of many, aunty and grandmother to many.

The family is meeting for prayers and funeral arrangements at ACK St James Buruburu 5pm – 7pm daily and family home at St Mary’s Murang’a.

It is with profound sadness, and humble acceptance of God’s will, that we announce the death of Sylviah Wanjiru Mbugua Ragui (Shiro) of Sylviah’s Secrets (Donholm Service and Business Centre Ltd), which occurred on Monday, 7th July, 2025 in Nairobi.

She was the beloved daughter of Jared Mbugua Ragui and Annie Wariara Mbugua (Donholm Service and Business Centre Ltd). Sister of Darliah Mbugua (Central Bank of Kenya), Caroline Wanjeri Ragui (Calgary, AB – Canada), the late Fredrick Ragui. Sister-in-law of Moses Maina Waiguru (Calgary, AB – Canada).

Shiro was loving mother of Trevor Jared Mbugua (Donholm Service and Business Centre Ltd), Samantha Anne Wariara (Café AMKA) and Jessica Karegi. She was cherished grandmother of Adrielle liana Wanjiru and Javier Jared (Rusinga School).

She was a beloved aunt of Leroy Nambute (Family Bank), Sean Ragui, Zion Joseph Waiguru and Zaria Njoki Waiguru (Calgary, AB – Canada). She was a niece of many aunties and uncles and a loved cousin of many in the Ragui and Wamagata families.

Church, Family and friends are meeting daily, at the family’s home in Uthiru 87, from 4.00pm – 6.00 pm for funeral arrangements and prayers.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home (Argwings Kodhek Road) on Wednesday 16th July, 2025 at 8:00am followed by a funeral service and burial at the family home in Uthiru off Waiyaki Way (next to Shell Petrol Station).

It is with profound sorrow that we, the family of our beloved Julius Amba On’gow, announce his passing on Sunday, 6th July 2025 at Mediclinic Constantiaberg Hospital, Cape Town, South Africa, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. His body will be flown from South Africa to Nairobi and preserved at Lee Funeral Home until the burial.

Julius faced his illness with exceptional bravery, seeking treatment in Kenya, India, and finally South Africa, fighting valiantly for over a year against a relentless adversary.

Until his untimely departure, Julius served as General Manager Finance, Accounts & ICT at Kenya Shipyards Limited (KSL). He previously held senior roles at Coca-Cola Sabco and The Coca-Cola Company, contributing significantly across Africa and Europe.

He was a devoted husband of Priskilla Pete Ambah, loving father of Kristal Ambah and William Ambah, cherished son of Mzee William Ong’ow and Mama Silpah, son-in-law of Eng. Joshua Pete and Mama Gaudencia Pete. He was a dear brother of the late Tobias Otieno, late Joseph Adoyo, Jairus Onyango, Margaret Otieno, supportive brother-in-law of Susan Airo and Elijah Otieno and uncle to many.

We, humbly accept the will of God and invite all friends, colleagues, and well-wishers to join us in honoring Julius’s life.

Requiem Mass:Wednesday, 16th July 2025 from 2:00PM at Don Bosco Church, Upper Hill, Nairobi. Burial: Friday, 18th July 2025 at his rural home in Sango Buru Nyakwere Village,West Nyakach Location, Nyakach Sub County, Kisumu County.
