It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Beatrice Osare Simiyu of Kenya Revenue Authority, which occurred on Wednesday, 18th, June, 2025 after battling a short-term illness.

Beatrice Osare Simiyu was loving daughter of the late James Ngahanyi and the late Hellen Mukabana of Ebukutenga village, Khwisero Sub-County, Kakamega County.

She was the beloved wife of Protus Simiyu. Loving mother of Kelvin Simiyu, Deborah Diana Simiyu, and Brazil Sirniyu of Kongoni, Likuyani, Kakamega County.

Sister of the late Joseph Meso, the late Ruth Ornwende, the late Rose Omung’ala, the late Grace Awino, the late Francis Alukwe, the late Elizabeth Kasudi and Pastor Mark Light Anyangu.

Daughter-in-law of late Hudson Jeremiah Wasike and the late mama Ruth Nakhungu. Aunt of many.

Mother-In-law of Brian lkinyua Kirinya and Pecronilla Buchece. Doting grandmother of Troy Simiyu, Naya Kirinya, Naigel Ngahanyi, Bratile Ondanje,Arina Osare.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at her home in Canaan Estate near Highrise, Mbagathi way, Nairobi.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home on Friday, 11th July, 2025 for Kongoni, Likuyani, Kakamega County, for burial service on Saturday, 12th July, 2025.

The cortege will leave Nyansiongo Mission Hospital on 10th July 2025 for overnight stay.The funeral service and burial ceremony will take place on 11th July 2025.

Daily Masses are being held at his farm in Mau-Narok and at his residence in  Wendiga, Mweiga at 3:30PM, in both locations.

The cortege will leave Egerton University Funeral Home on Friday, 11/07/2025 at 9:00AM, followed by the Funeral Mass at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Mau-Narok, and later the burial at his home in Mau-Narok.

Princess Juliette was the loving daughter of the late Lt. Col. Rtd. Daniel Nteere Marete and Mrs. MaryKanana Nteere. She was the cherished sister of Mutuma Nteere and Brenda Mukiri Nteere. Sister-in-law of Purity Mutuma.

A doting aunt of Jabali Mutuma, lspaniel Yosef Murithi and Fadhili Mutuma.

Granddaughter of the late Amos M’Marete and Mrs. Janet Kanaro M’Marete,and the late Mwalimu Stephen and the late Tryphosa Munyange M’Rinyiru.

Niece of Isaac Kinoti, Julius Muriuki, Stephen Kimathi, Mary Karambu, Peter Kathunkumi, Susan Nkatha, Rebecca Mukombaabu, Paul Kithinji and many others.She was also a treasured cousin and friend to many.

Princess Juliette was a radiant soul-gentle, kind- hearted,and full of promise.Her warmth and quiet strength touched many lives,and her absence leaves
a void that can never be filled.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Nahashon Nyagah Gichuhi on July, 1st 2025.

He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother with a great sense of humor,esteemed for his integrity and compassion. His memory will be treasured by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He was the son of the late Samuel Gichuhi Nyamu and the late Rahab Wanjiku Gichuhi of Ichichi Sub-location, Murang’a County.

He is survived by his wife Grace Wangui Nyagah of Juja, his children Rahab Wanjiku, Peris Wambui and Samuel Githu all residing in the USA.

His siblings were the late Kamau Gichuhi,Geoffrey Wachuma, Samuel Mwangi, the late George Kanyanjua, Esther Wanjiru Gichuhi, Hiram Gichini, John Gichina and Tabitha Wangari Karoga.

He was beloved husband of Margaret Nyambura Murage (PA). Father of Mary Murage (TX), Kigera Murage (PA), Kiiru Murage (KENYA) and Wambui Murage (PA).

He was father- in-law of Paul Mathenge TX, Lisa Donofrio (PA) and Carolyne Kiiru.

He was grandfather of Sharleen, Michelle, Nathan, Jacob, Seth, Caleb, Adriana and Shawn.

The cortege will leave Umash Funeral Home (Nakuru) on Tuesday 15th July 2025 at 8.00 am for a funeral service at his farm in Passenga Silanga Scheme starting from 9.00am.

He was the firstborn child of the late Kipng’erechi and Recho Tabutany Chebos. Step-son of the late Bornes Tabelgaa.

He was husband of the late Mary Soi and the late Jane Soi. He was Father of Charles Bett (Bomet), Nancy Rugut (Longisa), Edna Tangus (Chepsir), Hellen Sang (Narok), Jeniffer Langat (Narok), Joyce Koech (Keringet), Janet Momanyi (Kericho), Emmy Sang (County Referral Hosp. Kericho), Dorothy of (Sitoka Comprehensive School – Transmara), Justice Alice Bett (Kakamega), Janeth Soi (Kenya Prisons -Busia.), Emily Kalya (Moi Siongiroi Girls), Stanley Bett (Kebeneti Secondary), Caroline Okunga (Busia County Referral Hosp.), Nicholas Bett (Judiciary – Nakuru), Dr. Joan Kiyeng (MTRH – Eldoret), Gladys Rono (Mononwet Comprehensive School), and Lorna Mang’era (Nairobi). The cortege leaves Lazarus Funeral Home, Siloam on Wednesday 9th July 2025 for a Funeral service on Thursday, 10th July 2025 at Bukacha Primary School – Kiromwok Location – Bomet County. Thereafter, his remains will be interred at his home in Kapsilibwo village.
