Son in love of Njung’e Kamiri and Joyce Wambui of Juja. Brother in love of Keziah and Andrew, the late Ruguru, Dr Kamiri and Joanne, and Faith. Loving grandson, nephew, cousin and uncle to many.

He was a role model, Mentor and a friend to many.

Maureen was the beloved daughter of Dr. David Kipkosgei Korir and Mrs. Rose Chelangat Korir. She was sister of Dr. Wycliffe Kipkurui Kosgei, Lynette Chepkoech Ochieng and Oscar Kipng’etich Kosgei.

She was also the sister-in-law of Dr. Faith Yego Kosgei and Pst. Dalton Ambrose Ochieng, and she was an aunt of Richard-Bryan Ochieng.

She was a granddaughter of Zipporah Sang and niece of Jane,Alice, Hellen, Elijah, Symon, Edward, Joseph, Zakayo,Alfred, Robert, and a cousin to many.

Maureen previously worked at The Boma Hotel in Nairobi, Hotel Chalet Christiania in Switzerland, and Rupaz Fun N Fitness Center. She was also the owner of Uptown Coffee House in Eldoret. Maureen was a cherished daughter, a dear friend, and a faithful servant of God. She touched many lives through her fellowship at CITAM Eldoret, Calvary Chapel, and ICC Nairobi, as well as through her dedicated service with Aflewo — Eldoret.

Maureen will be laid to rest on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at the family farm adjacent to Kapsaret Water Dam, past Eldoret International Airport in Mlango area.

He was a beloved brother of the late Boniface Kilonzo, the late Elizabeth Mueni Kithimba, the late Kyambo, Agnes Wanza, Dominic Muithya, Fred Nzau. Mary Kiluu, Mutisya, Mwania. He was step brother of Eng. Elijah Kithimba, James Maingi and late Ndita.

He was the devoted husband of Margaret Kasiva Kithimba, and a loving father of Jacqueline Mutinda, George Nzioki and Caroline Mwikali. He was doting father in-law of Mumbi Ngure He was a toying grandfather of Nathan Guy, Owen Guy, Rozie Kasiva and Danny Ngure.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the promotion to glory of Hon. Catherine Moraa Nyamato, who departed this life on 16th July, 2025, at her home in Nyansiongo, Niamira County. She was born in West Mugirango, Nyamira, on 28th February, 1949.

Hon. Nyamato was the beloved wife of the late John Silas Nyamato.

She was the cherished daughter of the late Alexander Onkangi Ocharo and Pauline Nyabiage.

She is survived by her loving children: Roselyn Kwenda, Maureen Nyamato (USA), Dr Ernest Nyamato, Peter Nyamato, and Judy Nyamato.

She was a respected Kenyan civil servant and politician, serving as Chief Principal Immigration Officer and later as a Member of Parliament, advocating for the welfare of Kenyans. Her body is preserved at the Lee Funeral Home, Nairobi.

He was son of the late Mr Kimosop Kipkenda Kiptui and Mrs Elizabeth Talaa Kimosop.

He was husband of Loice Talaa Kimwetich and Evalyne Tallam. He was father of Jane, Janet, Gladys, Albert, Benjamin, Fridah, Kemboi, Susan, Betty, Moureen, Dennis and Jemosop. Ht was blessed with many grandchildren.

He was brother of David, Moses, the late Joseph, Linah and Wilson.

He was father-in-law of Mark, David, Jacob, Pauline, Lebarak, Laureen, Leonard, Philip and Kevin.
