Daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Hunda Mukungu.

She was loving wife of Duncan Wanjohi Munyu. Mother of Lilian Wanjiku, Charity Wambui and Anthony Munyu. Mother in-law of Moses Mpuria, Colline Wangai and Annie Munyu. Doting grandma of Kiki, Cugu, Danny and Pollie.

Sister of Mary Nyaguthii, Ephantus Wamugunda, Bernard Ndegwa, Duncan Gakuu and the late Wangu, Murugi and Kabata H6nda. Cherished auntie, mom, sister-in-law and cousin to many.

The cortege will leave Jamii Funeral Home, Karatina on Tuesday 29th July 2025 at 8.00 am followed by funeral service and burial at her home in Iruri, Mathira West, Nyeri County at 10.00 am.

The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) regrets to announce the demise of Ms.Anne Beryl Wangutusi, a Prosecution Counsel at Sotik Law Courts, following a short illness.

She was the beloved daughter of Mzee Protus Mutoro Wangutusi and Mama Judith Nekesa Mutoro.

A devoted mother of Amara Hellen Namuma Wasike, Tiara Nekesa, Hope Wasike, and Sam Kirui Kemei.

She was a cherished sister of Ian, Catherine,Velma, and Vicky Wangutusi.

A dear niece of Maurice Wangutusi, Prof. Henry Mutoro, Dr Sisenda, Fred Kandawala, Wafula Mutoro, Chrisostom Kwoba, Ashery Wekesa, John Walter Wanyonyi, Katherine Wangutusi, Juliana Simiyu, among others.

Family and friends are meeting daily at their home in Makhese Market, Misikhu Location, Webuye West Constituency, Bungoma Countyfor prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Lifecare Hospital Mortuary, Bungoma, on Friday, 25th July 2025, for a requiem mass at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Misikhu.

The burial will be held on Saturday, 26th July 2025, at her parents’ home.

Elder George Thuku Muchai

It is with profound sadness, and the humble acceptance of God’s will, that we announce the promotion to glory of Elder George Thuku Muchai, formerly of Kenya Breweries Limited, which occurred on 20th July, 2025 after a short illness.

George was the beloved husband of Lilian Nieri Thuku, formerly of Thika Law Courts. He was the loving father of Joseph Thuku, Esther Okoth, Pharis Thumbi and Wambui Thuku.

He was the son of the late Joseph Muchai Muniu and the late Esther Mumbi Muchai, the late Beth Wanjiku and Ruth Nieri.

George was the cherished father-in-law of Ruth Muchai, and George Okoth, and a dotting grandfather of Zayne, Yvan, Shani and Rarni.

George was the brother of Mary Kefa, Samuel Muniu, Jane Wamuita, Peter Wanderi, James Muniu, Peter Mwaura, Elder Patrick Muchai, Bishop John Kanyari, Pastor Julius Kamau, the late James Muniu, Jackson Thuo and seven sisters.

He was the son-in-law of the late Phares Thumbi Wambari, the late Beth Nyakihiu Thumbi, the late Margaret Wahu, and the late Mary Kanyi. He was a treasured brother-in-law of the family of Thumbi Wambari, a dotting uncle to his nieces and nephews, and a loving cousin to many.

Funeral meetings are happening every day at PCEA Zimmerman from 630PM.

There will be a memorial service on Sunday, 27th July, 2025 at 2:00PM at PCEA Zimmerman.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral and Research Hospital on Tuesday, 29th July, 2025 at 7.00AM for interment at George’s farm in Gachoire Location, Lari.

She was the daughter of the late Keziah Waruchu and the late Gilbert Waititu Kuruma.

Beloved mother of David Waititu and Irene Wagaki Waititu.

Cherished sister of Esther Watene, Njuguna Waititu, Philip Karanja, the late Matthew Matiru and the late Gabriel Gaitho.

A loving grandmother of Wanjiru and Anthony, Jeff and Njambi and Lenny Kiragu. Great-Grandmother of Tuli and Tando. A Loving Aunt to many.

Mary Muthoni Mwangi

We wish to announce the passing on to glory of Mary Muthoni Mwangi of Gikoe Village, Kamukabi Sub-location, Kinyona Location, Kigumo Division, Murang’a County.

She was the daughter of the late Njuguna, also called Gichuhi Wabui, and the late Jane Wanjiku Njuguna.

She was the wife of the late Stephen Mwangi Waita, who was Senior Assistant Chief of Kamukabi Sub-location.

She was the mother of Elizabeth Wambui; Charity Wanjiru; Hannah Njeri; Peter Njuguna, formerly of Njiiri High School; Josphat Karimu, also known as Waita; Samuel Wabui Mwangi, also known as Wa Visa; Lucy Nyambura; Lydia Njoki; and Jane Wanjiku.

She was mother-in-law of Peter Kamau, Andrew Kamau, Esther Njeri Njuguna, Patricia Nyambura, Jane Warnbui and David Ngotho.

She was the sister of John Mwangi Njuguna, also known as Kibuuba; the late Mary Wanjiru Mwangi; and the late Wabui Gichuhi.

She was blessed with long life to be able to see her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are meeting at her home in Gikoe Village daily for prayers and to organize i for her send-off.

Funeral program will start at 8.00 am on Monday, 28/07/2025 at Montezuma ‘Monalisa Funeral Home Kabati Kenol where the body is lying. The funeral ceremony will follow at the compound of AIPCA church Gikoe at 10.00am,  `followed by internment on her farm at Gikoe Village.
