We Are Saddened to announce the death of Mr Alexander Kimwetich Kenda who passed on 19th July 2025 at the age of 69 years after a short illness.

He was son of the late Mr Kimosop Kipkenda Kiptui and Mrs Elizabeth Talaa Kimosop.

He was husband of Loice Talaa Kimwetich and Evalyne Tallam. He was father of Jane, Janet, Gladys, Albert, Benjamin, Fridah, Kemboi, Susan, Betty, Moureen, Dennis and Jemosop. Ht was blessed with many grandchildren.

He was brother of David, Moses, the late Joseph, Linah and Wilson.

He was father-in-law of Mark, David, Jacob, Pauline, Lebarak, Laureen, Leonard, Philip and Kevin.

Funeral service arrangements are ongoing at his Ol-Rongai (Nakuru) and Muserech (Eldama Ravine) homes.

Daughter of the late Henry Mwaniki and the late Veronica Wacuka Mwaniki.

Doting mother of Brian Muchiri.

Loving sister of George Mbogo, Mary Rita Nyaga, Kinyua Mwaniki, Regina Mwaniki and Elijah Mwaniki. Grandmother, Aunt and a friend to many.

Prayers and burial arrangements are going on daily at All Saints Cathedral Nairobi and at her home in Kibugu at 5.00 p.m.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home Kabati on Saturday the 26th July 2025 at 7.00 a.m. The funeral ceremony will be held at her home in Kibugu, Embu starting at 11.00 a.m.

Mr. Njoroge was the beloved husband of the late Mwalimu Janet Muthoni Njoroge and a devoted father of Susan Gathua, Richard Ngocho, Martin Kanyoro, Faith Njeri and Lillian Muthoni.

He was a cherished grandfather of Janet Ngocho, David Ngocho, Lillian Gathua, Kamanga Gathua, David Gathua, Njoroge Kanyoro, Macharia Kanyoro, Rehema Muthoni, David Njoroge and Richard Ngocho.

Father in law of Stephen Gathua, Jennifer Ngocho and Liberata Kanyoro.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his Mukangu home for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege will depart Montezuma Funeral Home, Kabati on Friday 25th July 2025 at 8:00 AM for a funeral service at ACK St Luke’s Mukangu from 10:00AM. He will thereafter be laid to rest at his home in Mukangu Village.

Mwalimu David Njoroge was a loving father, a lover of people and community, a dedicated teacher, a wise mentor and an exceptional leader.
