Five years have passed since you left us, but not a single day goes by without your memory living strongly in our hearts. You were the light of our home, the soul of our family, and the source of love, strength, and joy to all who knew you. Your joy, kindness, and gentle continues to echo in every corner of our home.

Your husband, children, family, and friends, miss you more than words can express. We cherish the moments we shared, the love received, and the memories we hold dear. Though time moves on, our love for you remains unchanged Your legacy of warmth, compassion, and grace continues to inspire us. You may be gone from our sight, but you will never be gone from our hearts.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the demise of our beloved Patriarch Stephen Mwaura Kimani on Sunday 3rd August.

He was the son of late Andrea K.mani, late Damaris Njeri and late Lucy Nyambura.

Loving husband of the late Pauline Wambui Mwaura.

He was son in law of the late Genue Rimui and are Esther Waniiku of Gitiha Kiambu.

He was a brother of Sera Gathoni Peter kungu James Ndungu, Peter Kangethe. Mary Wambui and the late Gideon Mwaura, Zakaria Mburu, Sera Gathoni, Esther Nyokabi, Gladys Wanjiru, Mary Wangui and Daniel Ndungu.

Caring farther of Lucy Njeri and James Gichuhi, Agnes Wanliku and Peter Ndungu, Joseph Kimani and Veronica wairimu, Genue Rimui and Martha Wanjiku, Mary Njeri and Jesse Kibandi, Sara Muthoni and Thomas Wachira, Esther Wangui and late Hanna Nyambura.

Adoring grandfather of Mwauras, Warnbuis, Wanyoike, Nyokabi, Wanjiru, Waithera and many others. He has left behind 27 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren and a great great grand child.

Burial arrangements are taking place at his home Kitale —Orone farm and Kitale town Mama Njuguna Hotel.

The cortege will leave Cherangani Funeral home on Saturday 9/8/2025 at 9:00am for a funeral service at his home Kitale -Matisi —Orone farm there after the Burial will be at his farm Wamuini B Mabonde from 2pm.

Rest well Dad, at 90 you have left behind a treasured memorable legacy.

It is with humble acceptance that the State Department  for Youth Affairs and Creative Economy wishes to announce the passing on of Robert Mumbo Agengo who until his demise on 18/7/2025 at Prime Care Centre in Kisumu, was a Senior Driver in the State Department.

He was son of the late Barack Ageng’o Okombo and Mama Christine Auma Ageng’o of North Nyakach Location, Gem Rae Sub-Location Koloo Village.

He is husband of Hellen Anyango Ojany and father-of Arnold Agengo, Andy Gibbs Ojany, Agustinos Mbata Mumbo and Robert Mumbo Mumbo.

Brother of Corbert Mbatha, Ken Olidho, Vera Agengo, Martha Oketch and Ida Obwanga.

Son-in-law of the late Agustinos Ojany and late Mama Monica Ojany of Kajulu Kamenya.

Brother in-law of Andrew, James, Pius, Paul and Job. His sister in-laws are Ruth, Doreen, Grace, Lucy, Lorretta and others.

The body lies at Kwee Farewell Parlor in Kisumu. Burial will take place on 9/8/2025 at his home in North Nyakach Location Gem Rae Sub-Location Koloo Village.

Death has occurred of Lilian Ngoiri Kiburu (formerly of East African Portland Cement) while undergoing treatment in India.

She was the daughter of the late Joseph Kiburu and Mrs Jane Kiburu.

She is survived by her children, Maureen, Nikitta and Nathan.

She was sister of Dr Lydiah Kiburu, late Alice Kiburu, Catherine Kiburu Nganga & Martin Nganga, the late Charity Kiburu, Allan Kiburu & Carol Gesare.

She was a loving auntie of many Lilian Ngoiri Kiburu nieces and nephews.

She was niece of Veronica Njoroge of Nembu, Tom Maara Gichuhi Margaret Gichuhi, Mr & Mrs Philip Kinuthia, Mr & Mrs Ngugi Gichuhi, Mr Kangethe & Rev Mrs Mary Kangethe, among others. She was a member of the Bahasha group of cousins.

The family is meeting at their home in Nembu Sub-location, Gatundu South.

There will be prayers at All Saints Cathedral on Thursday 7th and Friday 8th August 2025 from 5.30pm.

With hearts full of deep gratitude, We, the family of Mama Recho Sang, extend our sincere appreciation to all who stood with us spiritually, physically, and financially during our Matriarch’s time in hospital to her peaceful transition, and dignified final rest. In our hour of sorrow, you became our strength. Your prayers were a blanket of comfort, your presence a balm of Gilead, your giving an overflowing river of love.

From near and far, in sunshine and in rain, you walked with us, cried with us, held our hands and lifted our spirits. Your kindness has imprinted on our souls, a legacy of compassion we shall forever cherish.

Thank you for your time, your tears, your treasures and above all, for loving Mama Recho with us.

Mama, continue to rest in perfect peace, wrapped in the warmth of eternity and dancing among the angels. May your radiant spirit forever shine upon us, guiding our hearts and lighting our path with the love you so freely gave.

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Esther Wahito Kinuthia, a.beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who peacefully departed this life on August 4, 2025. E

sther was the devoted wife of the late John Kinuthia Gathiru, and the loving daughter of the late Nelson Macharia and Miriam Wairimu of Gathiruini, Komothai.

She was a cherished mother of Silas Kinuthia of Worcester, Massachusetts, Elizabeth Wambui of Kiambaa, Muguga, Paul Macharia of Worcester, Massachusetts, Miriam .Kinuthia-Wesonga of Worcester, Massachusetts, Samuel Chege of Kiambaa, Muguga, Peninah Waithera of Toronto, Canada.

She was a beloved mother-in-law of Catherine Gathiru, Catherine Macharia, and Francis Wesonga.

A loving grandmother of John Kinuthia Wambui, John, Jeff, and Nalla Gathiru, John, Esther, and Michael Macharia, Jeff and Abigail Wesonga.

She was also a dear sister of Samuel Ndung’u, Joseph Kibe, Peninnah Waithera, Rahab Wambui, ames Muhia, and Rachel Wanjiru.

Esther’s life was one of quiet strength, deep faith, and enduring love. She touched many lives with her kindness, wisdom, and unwavering devotion to her family and community. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Funeral Arrangements: Family and friends are meeting daily at the family residence in Kiambaa, Muguga for prayers and support. The body is currently at PCEA Kikuyu Hospital Mortuary.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9th, 2025, at 11:00 AM at PCEA Nyarugumu Church, Kiambaa, Muguga. Interment will follow thereafter at her farm in Muguga Site.

It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Retired Mwalimu Thomas Kimagut Ngeny, who went to be with the Lord on 1st August 2025 while undergoing treatment at Aga Khan Hospital.

Born in 1943 in Kabuson Village (Tugen), Koyo Hills, Nandi South to the late Joseph Cheramei Chepkwony, the late Anna Tabunei and late Rebecca Jemesunde. He was the second-born in a large and loving family. He is fondly remembered by his siblings: the late Isabella, Dorcas, Solomon. Lena, Elizabeth, Emily, Petro, Kiptogom, the late Kimaiyo, and Jernatia.

He was a cousin and uncle to many.

He was a devoted husband of Sally Jelagat Ngeny, and they were blessed with children: Beatrice (EAC -Arusha), Cheruiyot (Business), Janet (MTRH), Kirwa (KPA), Diphyna (Business), Kipkemboi (Farmer), Chris Mitei (Business), Vincent (Ausi), Jepleting (Ausi), and Kevin (KeNHA – Corridor B).

He was a cherished father-in-law of the late Tecla, Caroline (Coca-cola), Ruth (UG County), Eunice (Nganiat Pri), Carolyne (Jamhuri High), and Constance (Aussie) and to Joseph Rona, Abraham Malel and Eng.Wilson Kosgey (KRB).

He was a loving grandfather of Pam, Purity, Paula, Brian, Faith, Caren, Walter, Emmanuel, Elsa, Alisha, Abby, Abel, Cayln, Damian, Kimberly, Patience, Pravin, Valarie, Victor, Vivaan, Glenda, Ayden, Azaniah, Adriel, Adel, Jayden, Shane, and a proud great-grandfather of Tiffany.

A funeral service will be held on 12th August 2025 at AIC Milimani from 2:00 pm and a fundraiser thereafter from 5:00pm to help the family offset hospital and burial expenses.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and arrangements in Nairobi and Ng’aniat where a fundraiser is being held parallel to the one in Nairobi.

The cortege leaves Aga Khan Hospital on 14th August 2025, with burial on 15th’ August 2025 at his home in Kapseret (Ng’aniat).

Daddy, thirty years have passed since you went to be with the Lord, and then Mummy joined you in 2021.

Father-in-law of Juanita Gaiter, Johan Davidsson, Henry Kissinger, Evans Mogaka, Mario Tendwa, Fash Hash Duale, Hon. Oscar Sudi.

Main fundraiser is scheduled on 13th August 2025 at all Saints Cathedral.

The cortege leaves Eldoret hospital Morgue for mass at Kisii Cathedral Church, Mwembe. Thereafter body departs for Rikenye, Marani home. Burial is on 22nd August 2025. Funeral service will take place at Marani stadium grounds,

Son of the late Duncan Kimani Waiguru and the late Teresia Njeri Kimani, he was the beloved husband of Sophia Wambui Waiguru, and father of George Kimani Waiguru, Reginah Njeri Ndung’u, Dr. Stephen Njuguna Waiguru and Dr. Tony Kiragu Waiguru. Grandfather of Wangui and Wambui Ndung’u, Wambui, Wangeci and Adrian Kimani, Trent Njuguna, Jay, Heri and Kamari Kiragu and great grandfather of Maya.

He was a dear brother of the late Margaret Njoki of Kirenga, John Kiragu of Olkalou, the late Patricia Wambui of Tumaini, the late Charles Mwangi, Peter Mbugua of South Kinangop, and Hannah Nduta of Wangige.

He was the father-in-law of Ndung’u Kairie, Everlyn Kimani, Betty Njuguna and Lydia Kiragu.

Friends and family are meeting daily at his home in Ongata Rongai from 4pm to 7pm.

A requiem mass will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Ongata Rongai on Saturday, 9th August, 2025 from 12:00 noon.

The cortege will leave Umash Funeral Home at 8:00am on Tuesday, 12th August, 2025, for the funeral service and burial ceremony at his farm in Oloirien Kiserian.
