It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Peter Muturi Kangethe (Papa) of Afritech General Supplies which occurred on Friday 1st August 2025, after a long illness.

Son of the late Hezron Kangethe and the late Joyce Njoki.

He was a beloved husband of Mary Wangeci and a devoted father of Ken Kangethe, Joyce Njoki & Michael Nduati and Faith Wambui.

A loving brother of the late Sammy Mbugua, the late Daniel Mbarathi, Julius Ngugi, Lucy Njeri, George Njoroge and Jane Nyambura.

He was the son-in-law of the late Daniel Kabugi and the late Rahab Wambui.

He was a grandfather of Amani, Arizi & Kibe. Brother-in-law, uncle and cousin to many.

The funeral arrangements are taking place daily from 5.30pm-7.00pm at his residence in Ruiru Matangi junction, his ancestral home in Gatanga Muranga county and Jimlizer hotel in Buruburu.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Teaching & Referral Funeral -Home on Friday 15/8/25 at 7.30am. The funeral service. will be from 11.00am in Kiawahiga Village, Gatanga Sub-county, Muranga County.

Prayer and funeral arrangement meetings are being held at P.C.E.A Umoja Church and at their home, B- I I Umoja lnnercore estate opposite Peacock stage from 6.00pm.

The memorial service will be at P.C.EA Mwangi Ngunpri Church Umoja on Sunday, 17th August at 4.00 pm, and burial will take place on Tuesday August 19th, 2025 at his farm in Karindi location in Gikondi Ward Mukurweini, Nyeri County.
