It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing on of our beloved Matriarch Margaret Goretti Wanjiru Njenga (Mama Kiki & Jackie) on 25th August 2025.

She was the daughter of the late Mr. Leonard Ng’ang’a Kabitu & Mrs. Patricia Nyambura Ng’ang’a of Karia Village, Ikinu Sub-location, Kiambu County.

She was the loving wife of the late DC Eliud Njenga Nyanjui (Tigoni) and a cherished mother of Jackie Waithera Njenga, David Njenga (Kiki) and the late Marcelino Ng’ang’a. She was the step mother of Mary, Jerry, Bob, Mike and Joshua Njenga.

Mother in love of the late Hellen Wairimu Muriuki and beloved Grandmother of Jesse Njenga, Patrice Wanjiru, Kylian Israel and Ansel Ng’ang’a.

Sister of the late George Mbugua (Ikinu), the late Teresia Njambi Kamau (Karia), the late RoseWangari Njiinu (Karatu – Gatundu), the late PaulineWangui Kamau (Kirigiti), the late Fredrick Gachie (Karla), Professor John Kinyuru (Karen), the late Joseph Kangethe (Joswin, Nakuru), Benedict Njagwi (Eastleigh), the late Edward Mwaura (Karia) and Rosa Nduta Waruhiu (Langata).

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home in Tigoni for prayers and funeral arrangements from 4.00PM daily.

The cortege leaves Tigoni Hospital on Tuesday 02 September 2025 at 9.00AM. The funeral service will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Loreto, Limuru at 10.00AM. She will be interred at her home thereafter.

Father-in-law of Sharon Migalitza Ominde. Grandfather of Ayanna Khakasa and Liora Narah.

LBS was third son of the late Festo and the late Elizabeth (Lusanji) Minishi of Lirhembe Village lkolomani, Kakamega.

Son-in-law of the late Rapison Khaemba and the late Lenah Nasambu.

Beloved brother of the late Elitrd Shivachi, Origen Minishi Maviala, the late Wycliffe Minishi, Professor Mabel Minishi, Jane Minishi Etsula, Oliver Minishi, Henrietta Minishi Barr & Rosalind Minishi.

He was brother-in law of the late Norah Shivachi, Zubeda Shivachi, Loy Maviala, the late Leonida Minishi, the late Morris Etsula, Ruth Njeri Minishi, Joseph Barr, Alfred Shikanga, Masoni Wavomba, Margaret Akutekha, Tom Khaemba, the late Pius Wekesa, the late Mary Wakasa, the late William Mumasaba and the late Moses Maelo.

She was a cherished wife of the late John Geoffrey Mokaya of Kebirichi Village, Rirongo, Nyamira County.

Daughter-in-law of the late Mokaya Michoki and the late Agnes Onchiri.

She was a loving mother of Christine and Hillary, Susane, Roselyne, Lydia. Charles and Esther, Grace and Winnie and Ombese.

Grandmother of Matthew, Kiramia, Amani, Talia, Emma, Jadel, Lisa, Roman, Ethan, Maxwell, Luke, Nathan, Erica and Eliana.

She was a sister of the late Kumenda and Nyanchama, the late Druscila and Ogega, the late Eunice and Nyantika, Nyatwong’i and Nyabate, Hellen and the late Nyamweya, and Mainye and Janet.

She was shemeji of the late Mosoti and Mary, the late Isaboke and Lucina, Makori and Phyllis, the late Moraa Moruri, Kerubo and Ombongi, Dr. Mokaya (JKUAT) and Jane, the Lite Jerusa Lydia and Julius, the late Kwamboka.

Korera of Paul and Sarah Rutto, Patrick and Winnie Njenga, Charles and Hellen Makone. She was a cousin and aunt to many.

Teresa was a devoted member of the Nakuru Central Seventh-day Adventist Church, where she found deep joy in serving the Lord Her unwavering faith, kind heart and quiet strength touched many lives.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home in Kiamunyi, Nakuru at 5.00pm.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home, Nakuru on Friday 5 September 2025 for a church service at Nakuru Central SDA Church from 9 30 a.m. and thereafter the final interment will he held at her home in Olive Inn, Kiamunyi.

Daughter-in-law of Peter Mutua Muthike and Margaret Nthenya Muthike of Katulu, Nguluni. Sister-in-law of Phillip and Magdaline Watuka, and Nthemba and Peter Mambo.

Aunt of Zaka, Shani, William, Virginia, Duncan, Maryanne, and Albert.

Cousin of Ken Mbae and Gladys Ken, Beatrice Gitonga, Kathambi, Purity, Moffat, Pius, Beatrice Kawira, Oscar Gitonga, Lewis, Ronnie, and many more. Cherished friend and colleague to many.

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Martha Wamuyu Muriithi, which occurred on 23rd August 2025. She served as a Chief Registered Nurse (CRN) at the Nakuru Level 5 Hospital until her retirement on 30th June 2025.

She was the beloved wife of Peter Muriithi Kariuki, and together they were blessed with two children: Benjamin Kariuki Muriithi and Linet Wangui Muriithi, who will forever cherish her guidance, love, and wisdom.

Martha was the loving daughter of the late Benjamin Muhengere and the late Rebecca Kagure. She was a dear sister of Rachel Wangeci, Mary Wanjiru, Joel Ndegwa, and the late Samuel Karoki. She was also a cherished aunt, cousin, colleague, and friend to many, remembered fondly for her generosity, humility, and unwavering faith.

The cortege will leave Umash Funeral Home on Saturday, 30’th August 2025, at 9:00 a.m. Thereafter, a funeral service and burial will take place at her home in Tuinuane Estate in Lanet, Nakuru, where family, friends, and well-wishers will gather to celebrate her life and bid her farewell.

Martha was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a caring sibling, and a friend to many. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed for the impact she had in the lives of all who knew her.

On Friday, 29th August 2025, there will be a church service to be held at Central church of God – Eldoret, beginning at 10:00 a.m., after which the cortege proceeds to his home in Chekalini, Lugari Sub County, Kakamega County. The funeral service and burial will be held Saturday, 30th August 2025, at his home in Chekalini, Lugari Sub County, Kakamega County.
