Son of the late Jonah Ndabi Wamwea and the late Magdalene Waringa Ndabi.

Husband of Eunice Wachera, Janet Wambui and Florence Nduta.

Father of Julie Williams Waringa, Roy Williams Ndabi and Abigail Waringa. Brother of Rtd Sgt. Richard Wamwea, Peter Ndungu, Isabella Nduta, Joseph Githinii, Josephine Njeri and Simon Kariuki (Judiciary), the late Johnson lchugu, the late George Kungu and the late Anne Wanjiku.

Loving uncle of Jonah, Ezekiel, Magdalene, Sheila, Maureen, Veronica, Alvin, Eric, Austin, among others.

Daily meetings are being held every day at his home Karure, Mangu Gatundu North, Cascade Premier Thika and Jambo Grill Thika Road from 5.00pm

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Referral Hospital Mortuary on Tuesday, 12th August, 2025 at 9.00am for funeral service at his rural home Karure-Mangu, Gatundu ;North,

We are in mourning as we announce the passing away of Sixtus Muthuma Gitau.

Husband of Mary Wanjiru Muthuma.

Son of Joakim and Anna Gitau.

Father of Hilary Muthuma, Perpetua Kimani, Dr, Lydia Muthuma, Beatrice Njenga, Patrick Muthuma and the late Lawrence Warigi.

Brother of the late Roman Warigi and Mary Muthoni.

Uncle of Edith Macharia, Angelica Murichu, Gitau Warigi, Francis 1rungu, Jayne Macharia, Dr Joyce Nyairo, Judy Macharia and the late Jimmy Macharia and Henry Thuma. Patriarch to many nephews, nieces, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Rose Atieno Odhiambo

Sunrise: 3rd October, 1958 – Sunset: 4th August, 2025

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Rose Atieno on 4th August 2025, in Mombasa. She died peacefully and surrounded by family, after battling a long illness.

Rose was the daughter of Lonsolata Adino and the late Linus Kanot Okoth, step-daughter of Leonida Anyango.

She is survived by her children, Vivian Guetler, Kevina Beger, Melvin Oduor, Maximilian Otieno, and grandchildren, Brandon and Brian Beger. Mother-in-law of Tobias Beger.

She was a beloved sister of Apolliria Rajula, the late Felix Okoth, Fidelis Odhiambo, Mary Akinyi, Anne Odhiainbo, Catherine Akoth, Nicholas Okoth, Carreit Awuor, Susan Aoko, Dolphin Apondi, Laurelia Atieno, Michael Oluoch, and sister-in-law of the late Patrick Raiula. She was a loving aunt, second-mother, relative, and friend to many.

The cortege leaves Tumutumu Hospital mortuary on Wednesday 13th August 2025 at 8.00am.The funeral service will be conducted at Tumutumu Church at 9:30am and thereafter burial at her home in lkoniu,Tumutumu from 12.00pm.

Mzee Joshua M’ lkiara Ruthiiri (King’ora)

It is with humble acceptance cif God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mzee Joshua M’ lkiara Ruthiiri (King’ora) on 5th August, 2025 in Nairobi.

Joshua lkiara was beloved son of the late M’ Ruthiiri Ruthuri and Jeniffer.

He was a loving husband of Alice Ntibuka and they were blessed with the following children: the late Kathurima and the late Dorothy, the late Mary Nkirote, Jesicah (Jericah) and Steve, the late Gakii and the late Mutwiri, Kinoti and Esther, Kithinji and Linet, Josepine and Gitonga Marangu, Faith and Geoffery Mabwai, and Susan Kendi.

He had 21 Grandchildren namely Elsie, Kesh, Dennis, Travis, Tevin, Winfred, Kelvin, Denver, Tony, Warren, Vanessa, Nesh, Stacy, Alvin, Shane, Shantel, Precious, Jaden, Jude, Jakes and Muthomi. He had 2 great grandchildren Makena and Trevor.

Prayers and funeral arrangements meetings are being held daily at his home in Meru County, Buuri Sub- Ruthiri (King’ora) county Karanene Village. Nairobi prayer meeting will be held on Tuesday, 12th August, 2025 at all Saints Cathedral Church from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

The cortege will depart from Cool Breeze Funeral Home (Meru) on Friday 15th August 2025 at 9:00 am and thereafter funeral service and burial will be held at his home starting from 11:00 am.

Wife of the late Josphat Nginyo Nicholas. Mother of Moses Muthu, Mathew Gitau, Stephen Ngure, the late Peninah Kanuthu, Faith Njoki (USA) Antony Ndungu, Samuel Chira, David Kingara, and Cyrus Komo.

Sister of the late Naomi Wanjiku, late Susan Gathoni, the late John Ndungu, the late Jane Nyachuru, the late Tabita Wairimu Racheal Njeri, Leah Wanjiku, Hannah Wambui and Elizabeth Muthoni.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her Home Ngaita A Tinganga Kiambu County.

The cortege leaves St. Teresa Mortuary on Wednesday 13th August 2025 at 9:00am. The funeral service will be held at ACK St Nicholas Ngaita A followed by burial at her farm in Ngaita.

Ian Geke Gondi aka King Herode

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Ian Geke Gondi. aka King Herode. on August 4, 2025.

He was a cherished son of Daniei Dwero Gondi and Penina Daniel & Dorcus Dwero of Anyuongi, leaving behind his children Nina Geke and Dylan Geke.

Ian’s family includes his siblings Friday Saga, Winter Gondi, Precious Gondi, Zawadi, Leon, Happiness and Blessed Paul Dwero.

His grandparents are the late Edward Gondi, Mama Anjelina Gondi, Leah Gondi of Anyuongi Bondo and Laban and Lydia Okoth of Alego Siaya & his brothers-in-law are Ezekiel Aiukonya and Wilson Munala.

He was also a cousin and nephew of the Gondis of Anyuongi and Okoths of Siaya, Joka Omung’i and the wider Thim community.

He was loving husband of Lilian Eunice Arwa. Beloved father of Christine (SHOFCO Nbi), Fredrick (Blessed House Kindergaten Utawala), Albert (Utawala), Winnie (National Police Service Hqrts), Nicholas (Somalia), Robert (Kisumu), Joshua (KDF Kahawa), Myriam (SHOFCO Ksm) and Allan (ST Helena).
