It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Master Bryan Obuna on 3rd August 2025.

He was the cherished son of Oscar and Kamene (Mesh) Wayoboya, brother of Jason Mwanzia and Michelle Adia Mutheu.

Grandson of Felix Obuna Wayoboya & Jimia All Babala, and Francis Nyamai Mwanzia & Tabitha Muthio Mwanzia.

He was a deeply loved cousin, nephew and dear friend to many.

Bryan’s love for people, his witty banter, brilliance, warmth and incredible kindness will be immeasurably missed.

We will gather for a memorial service at Karen Community Church, Ngong View Road on Thursday 7th August 2025 at 2.00pm.

She was daughter of the late Mwaura Kimani and Naomi Wamaitha.

Sister of the late Thomas Kimani and late Teresia Wanjiku.

Mother in-law of Duncan Chege Maina.

Daughter in-law of the late Joseph Kagai and the late Margaret Njeri. Sister in-law of the late James Njenga, late Esther Wanjiru, late Charles Kariuki, Leonard Mbugua, Mary Kimani, Damaris Kago, Priscilla Kinyua, Rose Njenga and Molly VVanjira.

Grandmother of Wesley Maina, Nick Waruingi and Alvin Mwangi. She was an auntie to many.

Family and relatives are meeting daily at Thika Kimathi Estate house No. 691 and at her home in Kagongo Village — Kihumbuini for prayers and funeral arrangements starting at 5.00pm.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home — Kabati on Thursday, 7th August, 2025 at 8.00am, followed by a funeral service and burial at Gatanga Sub-county, Kihumbuini Location, Kagongo Village starting at 10.00am.

Sister-in-law of Robert Nabea (Dreamliner Bus Services,Msa), Pst. David Nabea NSA), Andrew Nabea (County Assembly of Meru), Murithi Nabea (FKF), Nkirote Nabea (County Government of Meru), Purity Nabea, Kaaka Nabea (Amazon-Europe), Ronald Nabea (Electrician Meru),Victor Nabea (Qatar), and Vincent Nabea. She is a beloved aunt, niece, cousin and friend to many.

Relatives, friends and neighbours are meeting daily at their Home in Kithoka from 4.00 PM and Nyambene Lodge-Maua from 6.00 PM for Prayers and burial preparations.

She was the beloved wife of the late Sebastian Macharia Chege. Devoted mother of Jane Nyambura, Mary Wambui, Sarah Wangari, Paul Chege (Slomo), Agnes Wairimu, Stellamaris Wanjiru Hill (Leicester, U.K) and Rose Njambi (London, U.K). Loving mother-in-law of Susan Muendo Chege and Robin Hill.

Daughter of the late Stephen Mwaura Gichuhi and the late Mary Wambui Mwaura. Sister of Agnes Wairimu Muchoki and Cecelia Njambi Kamau.

Cherished grandmother of Lucy Mbete, Nigel Makau, Naythan Macharia, Malcolm Musili, Ethan Macharia, Benjamin Muendo, Jesse Kamau and Isaac Macharia.

Friends and family are meeting at All Saints Cathedral Nairobi at 5.30pm on Thursday 7th August and Tuesday 12th August 2025.

A fundraising will be held to cover funeral expenses at Nairobi Baptist Church along Road on Tuesday 5th August 2025 from 5:30pm; and his home in Lugala Village, Shinyalu on Wednesday 6th August 2025 from 4:00pm.

She was the beloved wife of the late Leonardus Onunda, and a devoted mother of John Onunda,Agnes Owili, the late Margaret Ogot, Elizabeth Atieno, the late Mercyline Suju, Hellen Olango, the late Tom Onunda, and the late Peter Onunda.

She was a loving sister of the late Rosebella Ngoje, the late George Bura Wagoro, and Margaret Wagoro.

Mama Plista, fondly known as Dani, was blessed with many grandchildren, including the late Dennis, Christine, Julie, Frank, Sarah, the late Kate Eunice, the late Josphat, Fred, Evans, Rosemary, the late Achieng, Joyce, Alphine, Nancy, the late Gorrety, the late Muge, Mary, Linda, Roseline, Beatrice, Irene, Job, Sheila, Marion, the late Brian, the late Priston, jeff, jessica,Tessy, and Jayden. She was further blessed with 41 great-grandchildren.

Mama Plista Family and friends are gathering daily at her home in Auma Onunda South Kamagambo for prayers and to support funeral arrangements.

The cortege will depart from Rosewood Nursing Home, Rongo, on 7th August 2025 at 2:00pm, with the burial taking place on 8th August 2025 at her family home in South Kamagambo, Kajimbo Village.

He was the beloved husband of Shelmith Wamaitha Wachira and loving father of Martin Baru Wachira and Philip Mureithi Wachira.

He was the father-in-law of Winnie Nyambura Maina and doting grandfather of Ethan Wachira Baru and Elia Wamaitha Baru.

Son of Judith Wangari Wachira and son in law of the late Daniel Baru and the late Rachel Baru.

Brother of Agnes Wambui, Charity Wangechi, the late David Michuki, Frida Njeri, Florence Gathoni and Rose Nyambura. Brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend of many.

Family and friends are meeting for prayers at his home in Buruburu Phase III Ichamara Court from 4.00p.m.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta Memorial Funeral Home (Northern Bypass) at 7.00am for the funeral service which will take place on Friday, 8th August 2025 at St. Bernard’s ‘Secondary School, Losogwa, Nyahururu from 11.00a.m followed by the burial at his farm next to the school.

It is with deep sorrow that National Irrigation Authority announces the untimely death of Peter Okech Swa who until his demise was a Draughtsman at the Head Office. He was called to rest on 22nd July 2025 while undergoing treatment at RFH Specialist Hospital.

Son of the late Simeon Swa Odongo and Climentma Swa.

Beloved husband of Hellen Okech. Cherished father of the late Kevin Otieno, Brenda Anyango, Emma Achieng, Collins Okech and the late Simeon Swa. A proud grandfather of Nina Amor and Phil Loch.

A requiem Mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church (Adams Arcade) at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, 7th August 2025. Thereafter, followed by a funeral service at his local church, St. Stephen, Maili Saba, Mowlem same day at 3:00 p.m. An overnight vigil will be held at his home in Mowlem, Komarock Road.

The cortege leaves for his rural home in Nyakach on 8th August 2025 for a Church service at Nyabondo Parish at 2:00 p.m. The Burial & Funeral service will take place on 9th August 2025 at his home in Nyakach, Ramogi, Sigoti Sub Location, Kisumu County.
