Her body is lying at Kenyatta National Hospital Mortuary. Preparations are ongoing at her home in Kisii and at Jorame’s residence in Syokimau, Nairobi.

The main fundraising will be held on Tuesday, 26th August 2025, at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi, starting from 5:00 p.m.

The cortege will leave Nairobi on Thursday, 28th August 2025, for an overnight vigil at her home. The burial will take place on Friday, 29th August 2025, at her home in Bomachoge Chache, Kimai Village, Nyaisero Sub-Location, Sengera Location, Gucha Sub-County, Kisii County.

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to glory of Chris Mugo Waweru, that occurred on Friday, 15th August 2025 after a short illness. Until his demise, he was a Rtd. Chief Principal Internal Auditor at Ministry of Finance and a devoted Patron at ACK Kamwangi Church.

Son of the late Ibrahim Waweru and Mary Wanjiku Waweru. Son-in-law of Joyce Kibui Kamau.

Husband of Jeniffer Njeri Mugo. Father of Nicholus Waweru (Namimbia), Alfred Mwangi, Joseph Wanyoike (USA), Winnie Wanjiku, Anderson Njoroge, Brian Wambugu, Dan Kamau, Joyce Wambui, Evelyn Waithera, Maureen Gachiku.

Grandfather of Shirleen, Emmanuel, Denzel, Sumaya, Jayden, Andrew Wanyoike, Alpha Gabla, Daniel Gabla, Leakey, Twinkle, Jonel, Dezarie, Valerie, Vae, Elias and Eliana.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Kamwangi, Kariguini Kenol in Murang’a County starting at 6.00pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home – Kabati tomorrow Tuesday, 26th August 2025 at 8.00am, followed by a funeral service at ACK Kariguini Church at 11.00am. Thereafter, interment at his home in Gitura Ka Wa Mwangi.

Pastor Dr. Grace Nyambura Kung’u

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved Pastor Dr. Grace Nyambura Kung’u, which occurred on Tuesday, 19th August 2025.

She was the cherished daughter of Mr. Samuel Kung’u Thiong’o and Mrs. Jane Nduta Kung’u; a devoted mother of Samuel Moses Nzioka and Richard Elijah Kung’u; a loving sister of Hannah Wambui, Paul Thiong’o, Charles Githinji, and Joel Gatundu; and an aunty of many.

Grace was also a cherished friend, a mentor, a leader and a respected member of the community.

The cortege will leave Kikuyu Hospital Mortuary on Tuesday, 26th August 2025, at 9:00 a.m. A funeral service will thereafter be held at PCEA Mai-a-ihii Church Grounds at 10:30 a.m., followed by the burial at their family home in Undiri Farm, Kikuyu.

Family and friends are meeting daily at the family home in Undiri from 3:00 p.m.

She was the wife of Mr Nelson Bulu, daughter of Mr John Omumbo and Mrs Victoria Wamban, parent of Mr Gregory Omondi Dende, Mr Elvies Odhiambo Dende, Ms Doris Hope Dende and Mr Joseph Ricardo Dende and sister of Mr Joseph Omumbo, Mrs Lucy Omumbo, Mrs Mary Omumbo and Mrs Christine Omumbo.

The cortege leaves Chiromo Mortuary on 22nd August 2025, at 6:00 am. The burial will be on 23rd August 2025 at Uyoma, Kabudha, Ndigwa.

She was the firstborn daughter of Wilson Nzuki and the late Alice Mucheu (Ndaliki) and loving sister of Joshua Musa, Alfred Kyalo, the late Jackson Mutwika, Julius Muendo, Annah Mueni and Benjamin Muli.

She was daughter in law of the late Kyenge and the late Lydia Kyenge. Sister-in-law of Timothy, Jonathan, Thomas, Sarah, Ruth, Janet, Jedidah, Grace, Mary, Regina, Rose, Fridah, and the late Kithuka.
