To A Great Man

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jason Kioko Nziolca, who left us far too soon on September 7, 2025, at the age of 21 Born on December 10, 2002, Jason was a beloved son, brother, cousin and friend. He will be remembered for his warmth, kindness, and the light he brought into the lives of those who knew him.

Jason attended Westland’s primary school and Kathonzweni AIC boarding primary school, Mukaa Boys High School, graduating in 2020, and later joined the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) to pursue Biomedical Engineering. He was dedicated to his studies and inspired by a dream to improve lives through science and innovation.

Beyond academics, Jason was a young man of many talents and interests. He had a passion for art, often expressing himself creatively, and a deep love for history, which he enjoyed discussing with friends and family. His curiosity, creativity, and bright spirit left an impact on everyone around him.

Jason is survived by his loving father, Mike Kioko, his brother Jesse Shaban and is preceded in death by his mother the late Emrnaculate Ndambuki. He will also be lovingly remembered by his extended family and many friends who will forever cherish the moments they shared with him.

A funeral service to honour Jason’s life will be held on September 20th 2025 at Makueni County, Ngetha location, Kitandi village along Emali – Wote road near Matiliku secondary School.

Family and friends are invited to gather, celebrate his life, and share in remembering the joy he brought into the world and love he brought into the world. Though his journey ended far too soon, Jason’s spirit will live on in the hearts of those who know and loved him.

Mother of Peter Kiindu, Julius Makau, Janet Mwelu, Muli, Sabina, the late Ngila, Mbula & Muuo. Stepmother of the late Mueni, Musyoka, Mumbi, Mbuvi, Muthoka & Musembi.

She was a beloved Mother in-love of Mary, Juliana, Assumpta Muli, Assumpta Ngila, Leah, Pst Lucy, Mildred, Debby and Maggie.

Grandmother of the late Fred, Ndoti, Nduku, David, Jeniffer, Ndunge, Daniel, Nthenya, Nyenze, Ben, josphine, Viona, Tonny, Frida, Ndanu, Nzilani, Grace, Damaris, Princess, Alfred, Charles, Steve, Munene, Pius, Dr. Redempta and Jimmy among others. Great grandmother and great-great grandmother to many.

Sister-in-law of the late Kilonzo, the late Sila, the late Ngui, and David Maundu Kiindu.

Aunt of Peter Kirrieu, Margaret, Lawrence, Michael, Kivuva and others.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her home Mwasang’ombe Village, Kilome.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home – Machakos on 20th September 2025 for a requiem service at Kilome Salvation Army at 10:00 am, and thereafter interment at her home.

There will a Service on Sunday, 21st September Kahingaini Village at 3.00pm.

Funeral Service will be on Tuesday 23rd September 2025 at ACK St Mark’s Church, Westlands at 10.30 am followed by interment thereafter at Langata Cemetery.

We regret to announce the passing on of our beloved Corporal Timothy Muchena Lumiri of the Kenya Police Service, Parklands Police Station, who hails from Kilindo Village, Kigucwa ward, Michimikuru Location, Meru County.

He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Julius Lumiri M’Anyuki.

He was the husband of Rita Kananu. He was the father of Celestine Gakii (Form Two, Kaaga Girls), Caren Kathambi (Form Two, Kaaga Girls), Redempta Makena, Rehema Kinya, and Neema Gatwiri.

He was brother of Commissioner of Police Rem Mutabari (Commandant A.PLSC Meru), Agatha (lsiolo Hospital), Thuranira (lsiolo Hospital), Purity: Mercy, Eric, Lore, Sgt. Joseph (APS), Flora, Alice (Nairobi Women’s Hospital), PC Kirimi(KPS) Lucy, Kinya, Kiburi.

He was brother in-law of Velma (TSC), Irene (WON, Kinya, joanina, Sebastian, Kirnathi (TSC), Flora, Muthee, Charles, and APS Joel (APS).

He was son-in-law of Mr. and Mrs.Thornas Mwenda. He was brother-in-law of Rose Bernard, Nkirote Joel, Gitonga (TSC), Harriet, Tony, Marius (TSC), Onesmus Mwenda (KDF), and Consolata Thomas.

He was cousin of SSP Emanuel Maingi (GSU), principal Karithi (TSC), Kiandua Kabarak University, Christine (KTDA), Nancy (Nairobi), Principal Peter (TSC), and many others.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Kilindo Village from 3:00 PM for prayers and burial arrangements.

The cortege will be leave Cool Breeze Funeral Home Meru Town on Saturday 20-9-2025. The funeral mass will be conducted at Kamithega Catholic Parish, followed by the final rites at his home in Kilindo Village.

He fought a good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith. May his soul rest in eternal peace in Christ.

With a heavy heart, we announce the death of Brian Musyoki Mwatha a teacher of Biology and Chemistry at Kiaguthu Boys’ in Murang’a County, Kahuro Sub County after a short illness.

He was a committed teacher and will be greatly missed by his students, teaching and non teaching staff as well as the entire KIGGZ family.

He did his Bachelors of Education at Machakos university between 2015 to 2019.

Before his demise, the late Raymond was serving in our Narok Branch office.

The late Raymond was husband of Seraphine Mwende Olende, Father of Mary Abigael Akinyi of Asumbi Girls, Raymond Owuor (Junior) and May Redemptor Adhiambo of harmony preparatory school Narok.

He was son of Hon. Joseph Owuor Council member Nyamira National Polytechnic (NNP) and Mary Sebensia Owuor of Rongo University. He was a brother of Emily Akinyi among others.

The late Raymond was cousin of Vincent Kongo of KEFRI, David Kongo of Siala T.T.I, Stephen Omondi of Germany, Mercy Ooko, Winnie Ooko, Kennedy Atieno among others.

He was son in-law of Mr. Michael Ngila and Redempta Ngila of Tala, Machakos County. the late Olende was brother in-law of Constance Ngila — Gretsa University, Charity Ngila and Ruth Ngila.
