It is with deep sorrow, profound grief & humble acceptance of God’s will to announce the passing on of our patriach Francis Kipkoech Arap Kigen which occured on September 2nd 2025, born in January 1st 1943 in Kamariny village; son of the late Mzee Kigen Kayoi & Kabon Kigen of Kamariny village. Stepson to late Kobilo Kigen & Soti Kigen. He was a beloved husband of Alice Kigen & Loving father to Agnes & Joshua, Patrick & Florence, Angela & Hubby, Sharon, Steve & Joan, Faith, Isaac. Brother to Selina, Sabina, Paustina, late Joshua, Wilson, late David, Joseph, late John, Evelyne, James, late Michael, Charles, Philip, Thomas, Edmond, Simon, Boniface, Mercy & Gladys. Grandfather of Ronoh, Lee, Chebet, Genevieve, Gabriella, Geralda, Ashley, Cherop, Cheptoo & Giana & many others. He has left behind many inlaws, nephews & nieces. Daily meetings at his residence in Eldoret, near to Fountain Hospital and home. Planning Meetings are being held in Nairobi at United Kenya Club, Meeting Room 2 on the following days; Friday September 5th 2025 at 6:00 pm and Monday September 8th 2025 at 6:00 pm.

There will be a requim mass on 9th September 2025 at St. Pauls University Chapel at 11.30 a.m. and another requim mass at Christ the King Waunifor on 15th September 2025.

We have submitted to God’s will and accepted the passing on of Mr. Joseph Wasike Nageri which occurred on 2nd September 2025 . He was the son of the late Sapherino Nageri and the late Sophia Ajiambo Nageri. His remains are lying at Nangina Mission Hospital Mortuary, Busia County. Husband of Margaret Achola Wasike and Topista Ajiambo Wasike. Brother in law to Margaret Odimwa Father of Florence Wasike Kigen, Christine Achola Fossum, Josephine Nageri Wasike, Leonard Ngulu, Robert Nageri, Gabriel Abungu, Violet Wasike. Uncle to Sophia and Flossy, the Obinga’s- Josephine, Beatrice, Christine, Monica, Rosemary, Fredrick, Patrick, Patricia, Pascal and Stephen, Jackline Ondiege, the Wanjala’s- Caroline, Anthony, Kennedy, Rosemary, Dennis, Victoria, Victor and Maureen. He has left behind many grandchildren, In-laws, nephews, nieces and cousins. Daily meetings are happening at his home in Budalangi and Mundika, Busia county. It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, JOYCE WANJIKU TARAIYA, who peacefully departed this world on Friday the 5th/9/2025. She was a cherished mother to Charles Tumanka,Ninah,Meresho ,Ndetiai,Mushaene,Raphael Giza, konchella,Salome,Eliza,among others, grandmother, great grandmother and a friend to many. She was known for her kindness, strength and warmth and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Family and friends are meeting daily starting from 7:00pm to 8:30pm for burial preparations at Olkeri Taraiya’s residence next to Late Chiefs Tawuo Home Olkeri.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Teaching and Referral Hospital Mortuary Date Wednesday 10/9/2025 Time 6.30 am. There will be a funeral mass at Kanu Hall, Gichiche playground, Chinga, Othaya at 11.00 am.

The burial will take place at his father’s home in Othaya, Chinga, Mumbuini near Chinga Dam, Nyeri County.

Sister-in-law of the late Evelyne Wambui, the late Agatha Njeri, Agnes Njuguna, Monica Mburu, Richard Mwangi, Stephen Karanja and Geoffrey Thiongo amongst others.

She was the aunt of Mugo Ndegwa, Mary Ndegwa, Priscilla Ndegwa, Ezekiel Chomba,Antony Njoroge, John Karanja, Eric Mbuthia and many more.

Family and friends are meeting at Holy Family Basilica – Cardinal Otunga 7th Floor at 5.00pm and at her residence in Loresho.

Memorial Service will be held on 10th September commencing 5.30pm at PCEA Loresho Church.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Referral (Northern bypass) on 11th September 2025 at 8.00am. Burial will take place in Gathera Village, Nginda Location in Maragwa.

It is with deep sorrow that the family of Manywanda announces the passing of Peter Ogembo Manywanda who departed this life on 28th August 2025.

The late Peter was the beloved son of the late Edward Manywanda and Roselida Manywanda. and also of the late Plister Manywanda and Salome Manywanda.

He was the loving husband of Jane Ogembo He was a devoted father of Calvin, Tricxie, Christine and Ted. He was a loving father-in-law of Adams and Octavian. A doting grandpa of Aler, Zawadi, Ker and Tegno.

He was a cherished brother of John, Charles, Roberts, Dan, Aggrey, Moses, Ben of Botswana, Martin, Tom, and Paul: and of the late Richard Okidi. He was also brother of the late Ziporah Ogana, Chris, Mary Owuor, Nelly, Perpetua of the USA, Herine Tulu, Risper Achieng, Pamela of the UK. Benta, Sarah and Joyce.

He was brother-in-law of Mary, Rosemary, Christine and the late Dorothy.

The body is currently lying at Lee Funeral Home in Nairobi.

There will be a short service at Lee Funeral Home on 8th August 2025 from 7:30 am to 9:00 am. Thereafter, a funeral service will be held at Langa Langa SDA Church in Nakuru on 8th September 2025 from 1.00 pm.

The cortege will proceed to his home in Otok Village, Kendu Bay, Homabay County on 9th September 2025. The burial will take place on 10th September 2025 in his home.

Peter Ogembo Manywanda will be remembered as a humble and peaceful man – a true peacemaker. May his soul rest in eternal peace.

She was the second born of Emily Wambui, and her siblings are Kiambu Governor, H.E. Dr. Kimani Wamatangi, Nicholas Kimani, Mary Esther Njeri, Charles Kiarie, and Anne Murugi.

Mother of Steve Mureithi, Mburu, and Gababu Wambui (Elsie). She was also a loving grandmother of Jeremiah Eyal, Joseph Kamande, Calton Kimani, Jeila Nyambura, and Myra Nyambura.

She was auntie of Emily Wambui Kimani, Faith Wambui, Ronnie Keith Kimani, Anita Wambui, and Clyde Ochieng and many others.

She was also niece of Geoffrey Kinyanjui (Nakuru), Leonard Njunge (Nairobi), Esther Kinyanjui (Ruiru), Mercy Kimani (Nakuru), Sammy Kibiku, Martha Wanjiku and Joseph Mwaura.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers at their family home in Kibiku in Kabete from 2.00pm.

The cortege will leave the KU Funeral Home on Thursday 11th September, 2025 at 8,00am for the funeral service at ACK Emanunel Church Kibiku in Kabete. Thereafter, burial will take place at the family home in Kibiku.

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mrs. Monica Gathoni Mbogori, former Principal Tutor of KMTC Meru, on 3rd September 2025 after a prolonged illness.

She was the loving wife of the late Edward Mbogori, and a devoted mother of Eng. Kenneth Mbogori (KeRRA), Evelyne Nyambura (Nairobi City County), Humphrey Mbogori (PPB), Jennifer Mbogori (Nairobi ), and James Mburu (Meru).

Monica was a beloved daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. David NjugunaWahothi of Gakoe Village, Kiambu County. She was also a cherished daughter-in-law of the late Mr.Ayub M’Rimberia and Mrs Jennifer M’Rimberia.

She was mother-in-law of Dr. Lydia Wanjiku Njuguna, Dorothy Mwenda, Sam Morara Ngare, and Winnie Mburu.

She was a dear sister of Esther, Ruth, Mary, Margaret, Mburu, Kiruthi, Ndurungi, Thuo and the late Martha, Rachael, Kiarie, Dorcas, and Getene.

She was also sister-in-law of Joyce, Guantai, Lydia, Dorcas, Gerald and the late Kaumbuthu.

Monica was cousin to many, aunty to many, grandmother to many, great-grandmother to many, and a true friend to countless others.

The Requiem Mass will be held in her honour at Montezuma Kabati Thika Road on 10th September 2025 from 11:00 a.m.

The cortege will proceed to Meru on the same day. Mass and burial will take place on 12th September 2025 at Kithoka Village, Meru County.
