Daughter of the late Mwikonyi Mutuota and the late Waruguru Mwikonyi. Sister of the late Maina Mwikonyi, the late Njogu Mwikonyi, and the late Wagithi Mwikonyi.

She was the devoted wife of the late Patrick Wamae Kirocho and co-wife of the late Anastasia Wambura Wamae.

She was the loving mother of Esther Wanjiru & the late Mureithi Mugathi, the late Pauline Muthoni, Charles & Charity Mwangi, Teresa Kabata & Dr Peter Muigai, Francis & Lucy Mwikonyi, George & Nancy Matu, Joseph & Esther Maina, Peter & Alice Matheri, Stephen & Patricia Njogu, and Samuel Wachira. She was blessed with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is step-mother of Wanjiru Matheri, the late Esther Gathigia, the late Hon. Matu Wamae, the late David Maranga, Mary Wangu Ng’ang’a, Senior Cc.-Junsel Paul Matheri Wamae, Joyce Gathoni Kiarie, and Dr Humphrey Maina.

Family and friends are meeting for funeral arrangements and prayers at Ngong Hills Hotel (Nairobi) and at her home in Kiunjugi Village, Mathira daily from 5.00PM.

The cortege will leave Jarnii Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 2025 at 8.30AM for a Requiem service and burial at the family home in Kiunjugi Village, Magutu Ward, Mathira, Nyeri County starting from 10 00AM.

Beloved husband of the late Mama Ruth Toya. He was the father of the late Grace Dama Thoya, David Katana, the late Eva Mapenzi, the late Joseph Toya UT), Eng. Mwamure Toya (KPA), the late Serah Kadii, Samson Toya (KPA), Chief Lawrence Maitha (Chumani) and the late Daniel Shujaa.

He was father in law of Lily Katana of Mr &Mrs. Lukamisa Mwanza TZ, Lily Baya of the lates Mr & Mrs Nyati of Maandani, Evelyn Mwamure of Dr. & Mrs Chibule wa Tsuma Rabai, Gladys Mramba of the late Chief & Mrs Mbura Chonyi, Cecilia Mapenzi of the late Mr. Rodgers and Mrs Rodgers of Mshongoleni. Mzee was blessed with 27 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

The cortege will leave Kilifi (KCH) Mortuary on 6/9/2025 at 6.45am for stop over at St Stephen’s ACK Church Kaoyeni and later for funeral service at his Bandarini Farm.

Mzee Japhet Nkoroi Mwarari was born on 1st January 1935 in Kibumbu Village, Karingani Location, Chuka North Sub-County, Tharaka Nithi County.

Beloved son of the late Mwarari Njagi and the late Monica Ciakuthii.

Husband of Lilian Ciambuba Ntiba. Father of Prof. Micheni Japhet Ntiba, Elosy Nieri, Joseph Miriti, Jasper Munene, Catherine Muthoni, Monica Kangai, Lucy Warp, Isaac Mugendi, and Karen Karegi.

Father-in-law of the late Catherine Karimi Micheni, Edith Muthoni Miriti, Margaret Kawira Munene and Gatwiri Mugendi.

Brother of the late Mboani Mwarari, Njok;i Mwarari, Rev. Er astus Mbaka Emily Kanyua, Fredrick Muthitu and Rev,Timothy Chabari. Step-brother of the late Mugambi, Nkune, the late Ciankoru, the late Cianioka and Ciamwari. Grandfather and great grandfather to many.

The funeral service will take place on Saturday, 6th September 2025 at 1000 am at P.C.E.A Church, followed by the burial at his home in Kibumbu Village (opposite Kibumbu Coffee Factory), , Kiangondu Location, Chuka North Sub-County.

Gogo Susana was the devoted wife of the late Paramount Senior Chief Noah Chelugui (KapMaiywa).

Loving sister of the late Kipsang Arap Mursoi, the late Chemaiyo Taru, Wilson Barno, the late Chelimo Cherus and the late Salina Ng’irichi Cheptalam. S

he was a cherished mother of David Chelugui, Everline Serem, Sarah Kemei, Mary Cherwon, Hellen Cheruiyot, the late Charles Ben Chelugui, Lilian Mwei, Becky Chelugui and the late Leah Chelugui. Loving grandmother to many grandchildren, a doting great-grandmother to many great-grandchildren, and an aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Her life was a testament to her faith, generosity, and loving heart. We will remember her for her morning prayers, her open doors, and the wisdom she shared.

The cortege will leave Eldoret Hospital on Thursday, September 4th, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. for a requiem mass at AIC Fellowship at 10:00 a.m., followed by an overnight vigil at her home in Sugoi.  .The funeral and burial service will be held on Friday, September 5th, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. at her home in Sugoi.

With deep sorrow and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our dearly beloved, Eric Gitau Gitari, on Monday, 1st September 2025, after a short illness.

Eric was the beloved son of the late Joshua Gitari Kihoro and Beatrice Mumbi Gitari. He was a cherished brother of Jayne Wangari Paul Kihoro Gitari, and his twin sister Jacqueline Nyambura Mwangi (U.S).

He was a dear brother-in-law of James Irungu Wagako, Angela Chehet Kihoro, and James Mwangi Kiraki( U.S).

Eric was a devoted uncle of Jason, Justin, Sifa, Jayron, Jollyn, Javin and Jayzril. He was also a loving nephew, cousin, and friend to many who held him close to their hearts.

Family and friends will gather for meetings and prayers at the family home in Parklands from 5,30pm and also at the family farm in Gitwe Gatundu from 4.30pm. Meeting dates will be Thursday 4th, Friday 5th and Saturday 6th September 2025.

The cortege will depart from Lee Funeral Home on Monday 8th September at 7:00 a.m. for the funeral service at St. Joseph Catholic Church Gitwe Gatundu starting at 10am, followed by burial at his home.

He was a son-in-law of the late Mzee Benjamin lnzuga and the late Mama Trufosa Kavulani.

Beloved husband of Beatrice Wangatia, and the father of Kevin Inzuga,Alveen Odwako, and the late Melon Wangatia. He was the father-in-law of Getrude Injera and Sivia Aura. He was a grandfather of Jabali, Malia, Daisy, and Melina.

Burial preparation meetings are currently ongoing at his home in Bidii Farm, Kitale.

The cortege leaves Cherang’anyi Nursing Home on Wednesday 10th September 2025 for a church service at ACK St. Paul’s Kitale and thereafter for a vigil at his home Bidii Farm. The burial will take place on Friday, 12th September 2025, at his home in Bukuyudi Village, Butula, Busia County.

Her body will leave Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital Eldoret on Friday, a memorial service will be held on the same day at her home in Kapkatet, the funeral service will be held on Saturday 6th September 2025 at Kapkatet Primary chool. Thereafter burial will take place at her home.

Family and friends are meeting daily starting tomorrow, Thursday, till Wednesday next week at her residence, Buruburu (BBM) Brown Court, Nairobi, for prayers and finalization of the funeral programme.

The funeral is planned for 12th September 2025 at her family home at Kinyambu, Kibwezi, Makueni County. The cortege will depart from Montezuma Funeral Home at 6:00 a.m. on September 12, 2025, for the burial.
