Hannah Njeri Wanyoko

It’s with great humility -that we announce the passing of our beloved Hannah Njeri Wanyoko.

Wife of the late Harrison Wanyoko Kamau. Co wife of the late Esther Wanyoko and the late Lucy Wanyoko.

She rested peacefully on 29th August, 2025 at the blessed age of 101,

She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother„ and friend whose love and wisdom touched many lives. She leaves behind a lasting legacy of faith, kindness, and family love.

She will be laid to rest at Kangavva farm – Molo on Thursday 4th September 2025.

May her soul rest in eternal peace.

Mother of Dr Nicholas Okumu of Kenyatta National Hospital and Dr Radhia Okumu of Jasmine Dental and Medical Centre, Silvanus Oluoch Lule (UN, Netherlands), Winnie Okumu (late) and Mike Otieno Okumu.

Sister of Torn Ong’are, Tina Openda (late), Josephine Ouma (late), Francis Openda, Caroline Openda, Frederick Openda, Veronica Openda, Lucas Ong’are, Nicholas Openda and Florence Openda.

Sister in-law of Peter Okoth, Gerald Okoth, Philipine Achieng, and Consolata Agutu.

Grandmother of Jonathan, Joshua, Wisley and Hanni.

In-law of the late Mdeng’o and the late Fatma Godigodi of Dar-es-Salaam Tanzania.

Funeral service will be held at Citam Valley Road on Thursday, September 4th at 10.00am, and burial on Saturday, September 6th at Ukalama Village, Ting’are, Ugenya, Siaya County.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at All Saints Cathedral Trinity Wing from 5:00pm – 8.00pm. Harambee is on Wednesday (today) 5.00pm at the same venue.

Wilson Clyde Asitiba (Mukuna)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that the Asitiba family announces the demise of our brother Wilson Clyde Asitiba (Mukuna) of Nabongo G. Stores Kisii, which occurred on Monday 25th August, 2025 at the Coptic Hospital Nairobi after a long illness bravely borne.

Wilson was son of the late Clyde Asitiba Otima and the late Mama Edna Ayieta Asitiba (Mama Nabongo).

He was husband of Jackline Kebong’o, father of Christian Kweya Asitiba and Emmanuel Marende Asitiba.

He was brother of Japheth Omuchere (late), Elijah Chitwa, Mary Asitiba, Edward Asitiba (Advocate Nairobi), Josephine Asitiba (Kakamega) and Jane Asitiba (judiciary Nyamira). He was also brother of Michael, Isaiah and Maurine.

He was son in law of Gethin Jethro Kebong’o (late) and Mama Jemimah Ondieki Kebong’o. Brother n law of Hellen, Evans, Florence, Enos, Ben, Susan, Shem, Stella, Norah, Linet, Grace, the late Christine, Regan, Emma, Ben and Grace.

Uncle of Judy, Loise, Robert, Martin, Station, Diana, Mildred, Ann, Yvonne, Christine, Regan and many others.

Cousin of the Abednegos, the Likhutsas. the Echenjes, the Kweya’s and many more.

He was “semo” Basangi of George William, the late Wilberforce, Victor and Joshua.

The cortege is scheduled to leave Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital (KTRH) Mortuary on Thursday 4th September 2025 at 10.00 am for a church service at Getembe Church of God (COG) Kisii Town and thereafter proceed for an overnight vigil at his home within Kisii Municipality. The funeral service shall be held on Friday 5 September 2025, starting 9:00 AM at Nyambera Primary School Grounds Opposite Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital (KTRH) ) and thereafter interment at his home.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing on of Mr. Samuel Nyamamba, of Office of The Auditor General (OAG) – Nairobi at the Nairobi Hospital on 21st of August 2025 after short illness.

Son of the late Mzee Nuhu Nyamamba and Mama Helen Nyamamba.

Beloved husband of Janet Mose. Father of David Mose and Jonah Momanyi.

Brother of Lydia Moraa, Shem Nyamamba, Alice Nyamamba, Josephine Nyamamba and Gladys Nyamamba.

Brother-in-law of prof. James Akuno, Catherine Gichuki, Joseph Mosioma, Mark Nunda, Onserio, Mobisa & Jeremiah.

Son-in-law of Isabella Mose & the late David Mose.

He was uncle of Alex Sakawa, Eric, Wilter, Diana, Mike, Rita, Moraa, Chris, David, Olivia, Isaac, and many others.

Cousin of George, Teresa, Margaret Nyanchoka, Isaac, Bonnie,Tom Miranyi, Mose, Nyabuto, Thomas, Asmako Makori among others.

Nephew of Hezekia Michoki, Kemunto, Nyabonyi, Mogoi, the late Hezron Misera, Maoncha, Moya among others. He was a dear friend to many and will be greatly missed.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Rubia Estate, Langata Nairobi.

A church service will be held at Karengata SDA Church on Wednesday, 10 September 2025 at 1.30pm.

The cortege leaves Nairobi to Kisii on Thursday, 11th September 2025. Burial will take place on Friday, 12th September 2025 at his home in Igembe Village, Kisii County.

(1953 – 2025)

With deep sorrow, we announce the transition to glory of Dr. Kavin Aggrey Wakoli, formerly of the University of Nairobi—School of Dental Sciences on Monday, 25th August 2025, after a short illness.

Beloved son of the late Mzee Alfred N.Wakoli and the late Madam Dinah N.Wakoli of Nalondo Village, Bungoma.

Devoted husband of Martha Nyakairu. Loving father of Dr. Christine Wakoli and Allan Mandu, and a cherished grandfather of Arabella Kagonya.

He was brother of the late Jane Kunusia, Hellen Masika, Everett M. Wakoli, the late Sakwa Wakoli, Lenny Musundi, Eric Murunga, Kathleen Wakoli, and Lynette Wakoli.

Son-in-law of the late Zacharia Ndungu Nguyo, and Janet Wanjiru Ndungu. Brother-in-law of Lawrence Nguyo, Emily Ndungu, Peter Kinyanjui, Rahab Nyaguthie, and Joseph Wahome. An uncle and friend to many.

Ms. Beth Wangari Kathuku

It is with profound sorrow and deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing on of our beloved Ms. Beth Wangari Kathuku after a short illness.

Born on 20th March 1984, Beth was the cherished and beloved last-born daughter of Mr. James Kathuku and Mrs. Winnie Wangui Kathuku. She was a loving sister of Major Michael Kariuki, Esther Njahira Kathuku, and the late Peter Kathuku junior.

She was a dear sister-in-law of Mrs. Catherine Njeri Kariuki (FSM) and a devoted aunt of Tito Yak Kuol, Michelle Kariuki, the late Josiah Kariuki, Joshua Kariuki, Katricia Kariuki, Nyanut Maluach, Shawn Kariuki, Bryson Kathuku, and many other nieces and nephews. Beth was also a cousin, a friend, and an aunty to many—including the Kagwanjas—all of whom cherished her deeply.

Fondly known as “Liz”, she was full of life—loving deeply, laughing easily, and touching countless lives with her kindness and cheer.

Prayer & Fellowship Meetings will be held at the All Saints’ Cathedral, Nairobi on Monday, 1st September 2025 – 5:00 p.m. and Tuesday, 2nd September 2025 – 5:00 p.m.
