Beloved son of the late Shem Omanwa Nyaanda and Mama Bathseba Gekondo Omanwa.

Devoted husband of Margaret Getonto and loving father of Omanwa Yuri Bwonda (Daystar Univ), Joy Bwonda (Lugulu Girls High School) and Shem Omanwa Bwonda.

He was a brother of Priscah & Obino, Charles & the late Dorcah, Erasto & Phane, the late Julius & the late Dinah, Kimaiga & Elinah, Peter & Doreen, Mokua & Esther, Roselyne & Brig Nyamao, Hellen & Rotich, and Naomi Bitutu.

He was a cousin to many, including the families of Okinyi, Mwamongina, Mwakeganda, Mwanyabwanga and Mwamoke among others.

Son in-law of Philip Getonto and Rael Getonto. Brother in-law of Hezbon, Ednah, Wycliffe, Milton, Stellah, and Doris Getonto.

There will be a memorial service at MTRH Funeral Home on Monday, 6th October 2025 followed by his burial on Tuesday, 7th October 2025, at his home in Mogusii Farm, Nyamira County.

Step mother of Esther Wambui, Virginia Wanjiru, Margaret Nduta, Elizabeth Mweru, Jane Wamaitha, Peninah Nduta, Joseph Mbuthia and Catherine Njeri.

Mother-in-law of Stephen Gitui (director, library services), the late Josephat Maina, Njau Kahura, Hiram wa Mahuti, Mary Mugo, Everiyne Thiiru (Ngea Comprehensive School Mai Mahiu), Emily Muiruri (Tigoni Hospital) and Ephantus Kamau.

Grandmother of Njenga, Njeri, Mau, Mwangi, Mwaniki, Wambui, Kahura, and many others. Great grandmother to many.

A requiem mass will be held on Thursday, 2/10/2025 at her home.

He was the son of the late Dominic and late Hannah Isiaho and the son-in-love of the late Athmani and the late Mwanahamisi Nalianya.

He was a beloved brother of Maynard and Lorna Lusambili, the late Mary and the late Walter Magotsi, the late Patrick and Violet Wichenje, and George and Genevieve Milimu.

Brother-in-love of the late Ibrahim, the late Abdul Karim, Idriss, Suud, Emedo, Sophia, Ali. Aysha, the late Hamida, Yahya, Mariam, and Nasser,.

Beloved Muthoniwa of the Karanjas, Nyawana of the Oukos and Mtsedza of the Kitsaos.

She was the daughter of the late Alfred Gathogo Mungai and the late Monica Muthoni Gathogo; daughter in law of the late Albert Lane, the late Vera Wild, step daughter in law of Jim Wild; and beloved wife of the late Ian James Lane.

Cherished mother of Jacqueline Muthoni, mother-in-law of Simon Bristow, and adored grandmother of Joshua, Olivia, Octavia, and Cadence.

Devoted sister of the late Lucy Waceke, Elizabeth Kang’ethe, Jane Gathogo, James Kamau, Joseph Kamande, Bernard Ngugi, Peter Mbugua, Ann Njoki, the late John Njuguna, and Lydia Wangari.

Beloved wife of the late David Wambua Mutua. Beloved mother of Benjamin Masaku Mutua and Angela Mwikali Mutua. She was mother-in-law of Christine Mutua and In-law of Faith Nyaga beloved grandmother of Dennis Mutua, Kevin Mutua, Kaylah Mutua, Zane Murua and Shiku Mutua.

She was a beloved daughter of the late Timothy Ndambiri and the late Edith Ndambiri of Kutus Kirinyaga County. She was sister of the late James Kamutu, the late Duncan Kabata, the late Wilfred Chomba, Mercy Ndambiri, Waithera Ndambiri and Muringo Ndambiri.

She was sister-in-law of Rhoda Mutua, the late Phillip Mutua and the late Betty Mutua. She was a devoted and cherished aunt, and a loyal friend to many.

We shall have comfort meetings at All Saints Cathedral on 1st October, 2nd October and 3rd October 2025 starting at 5:30pm to 7:30pm.

Memorial Service will be held at All Saints Cathedral on Monday, 6th October 2025 from 10:00am- 12:00pm.

Burial will take place at the family home in Mwala„ Machakos County on Tuesday, 7th October 2025 at 11:00am.
