It is with heavy hearts that we share of the passing of our beloved Jane Njeri Ngure, which occurred on Sunday, the 16th of November, 2025.

Jane was the wife of the late Engineer Joseph Jeremiah Ngure, and mother of Daniel Njoroge Ngure, Marianne Wambui Ngure, & Andrew Mbuthia Ngure; daughter of the late Dr. Arthur Samuel Mbuthia, & the late Mrs. Dinah Muthoni Mbuthia; and sister of the late Mr. Solomon Njuguna Mbuthia, Samuel Gitau Mbuthia, Mrs. June Wanjugu Koinange, the late Miss Joan Nyaguthii Mbuthia, & Mr. David Gitau Mbuthia.

Family and friends are meeting for a memorial gathering at Outspan Hotel “Sherbrooke conference room”, on Wednesday November 19th, starting at 5pm to celebrate the full life she lived.

On Thursday November 20th, the Funeral Scrvice will be at Nyeri Nyamachaki PCEA Church, starting at 10am (prior to this, the procession will leave from Nyeri Funeral Home at 9am). A private cremation service for the family will follow thereafter.

He is son of the late Peter Macharia Mbera and the late Mary Wambui Macharia. Brother of Hannah Njoroge, Samwel Mwangi, the late Catherine Macharia, Esther Kagia, and Lydia Wanjiru Mwaniki.

Beloved husband of Violet Wairimu Mbera. Loving father of Brian Macharia & Mary Wanjiku, Freddie Mucwe, Njoki Mbera, Elton Mwangi, Dennis Macharia and Sydney Wahome. Doting grand father of Mbera Macharia (int), Victoria Wairimu Macharia and Trevor Mbera Macharia.

Son in law of the late Eliud Wahome Gachie & the iate Esther Wahome of Ngoru Village, Mukurweni. Brother-in-law of Wilfred Gachie Wahome, the late Joseph Njoroge, Lydia Mwangi, Ngugi Kagia and John Mwaniki.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his Ridgeways home, off Kiambu Road on Church-lane, next to Ridgeways Baptist Church for prayers and funeral arrangements from 5pm.

There will be a memorial service on Friday, 21st November at Ridgeways Baptist Church from 2pm to 4pm and a fundraiser on Sunday, 23rd November from 3pm to 5pm at Ridgeways Baptist Church.

The cortege leaves AAR Hospital on Monday, 24th November at 7am for the funeral service and burial in Kariva Village, Muranga.

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing away of Mzee Vincent Linus Imai on Sunday 9th November 2025. Mzee Imai was fondly loved and will be greatly missed.

He was loving husband of Maneya Adengero Imai. Father of the late James Ilebun, Quintoes Ilebun, Mary Assumpta Imai AKA Mariam Abokor, the late Tekla Item, the late Zachary Kaala and Fidelia Imai.

He was son of the late Peter Ilebun and the late Domitilah Ikirapa. Brother of Ernest Nyongesa, and Alex Ekesa both deceased. He is survived by Leonard Irario and Jacinta Akisa.

Grandfather of Camilla Ikirapa, Alex Imai, the late Alberta Muya, James Kipchirchir, Faith Muya, Dita Adengero, Abdi Noor Said, Dr Mohammed Said, Natasha Ismael, Martha Adengero, Tristan Mbugua and Trevor Mbugua.

Caring Father -in-law of Jane Wacera, Richard Mbugua and Ashraf Said.

The cortege leaves KU Funeral Home along Thika Road on the 26th November 2025 for a Requiem Mass, commencing at 9.00am at Mary Mother of God Parish in Koma Hill and thereafter viewing at his Verona Residence.

Burial is on 28th November 2025 at his ancestral home at Khwirale sub-location, lgara Village, Busia County.

She was the daughter of the late Leroy Jackson Sr. and the late Shakuran Jackson.

Beloved wife of the late Geoffrey Ngugi and beloved mother of Robson, Joyce, Jackson and Ethna, Danson and Elizabeth, Christine, Leo and Milkah, Mark and Stella. Beloved grandmother of Sheila, Jackie, Jeff, Sandra, Sr. Isabelle, Christian, Krystal, Kathleen,Angel, Luke, Eli, Olga, and the great-grandmother of Samaria, Jasmine, and Niah.

She was the sister of the late Shirley Bernard, late Rose Kadir, Leo Leroy, the late William Jackson and the late Cosie Jackson. She was also a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.

It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Mr. Mathew Kenduiywa of Kaboi Location, Kaptumo Nandi. He was a former Councillor of Kaptumo Ward in Aldai Constituency, Nandi County. Matthew went to be with the Lord on 13th November, 2025 while undergoing treatment.

He was the third born son of the late Tolonyi Chepkwony and the late Rebecca Chepkwony, the late Martha Chepkwony and the late Mary Chepkwony.

He was a loving husband of Florence Kenduiywa, a cherished father of Alice Ngetich, Hellen Wambugu, Beatrice Tuwei, Alfred Cheruiyot, Joseph Cheruiyot, Geoffrey Cheruiyot, and Kenneth Cheruiyot. He was a father-in-law of the late Paul Ngetich, the late John Wambugu, Gabriel Tuwei, Nelly Cheruiyot, Winny Cheruiyot, Lydia Cheruiyot, and Jackline Cheruiyot. He was a doting grandfather, and great-grandfather to many.

He was a loving brother of the late Paramount Chief – Wilson Kenduiywa, the late Jonah Kenduiywa, the late Priscilla Ngeno, Grace Mabwai, Joshua Kenduiywa, Gilbert Kenduiywa, Stanley Kenduiywa, John Kenduiywa, Samuel Kenduiywa, the late Rachel Rono, Joel Kenduiywa, Reuben Kenduiywa, Priscilla Koech, the late Philip Kenduiywa, Jonathan Kenduiywa and Alfred Kenduiywa.

A fundraising event will be held on Wednesday, 19th November, 2025 both at his home in Kaboi, Aldai constituency at 2.00 p.m. and at All saints Cathedral, Nairobi at 5.30 pm.

The cortege leaves Eldoret Hospital on Friday, 21st November 2025 at 10:00 a.m. for his home in Kaboi,Aldai Constituency for a memorial service and overnight vigil. The funeral service will take place on Saturday, 22nd November 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Kaboi Primary School, Aldai Constituency, Nandi County. He will be laid to rest at his home Kaboi Kaptumo.

Beloved husband of Jane Akoth Odhiambo and father of Sylvia Ng’uono Odhiambo Owuor of the Judiciary, Joyce Achieng’ Odhiambo and Samuel Benjamin Onyando. Father in law of Maxwell Owuor and Sheila Akinyi. Grandfather of Daniel, Pete, Karl, Shirley and Sylvia.

Fondly known as Nyamalo or Nyorero was daughter of the late Mzee Philip Orero Oloo and the late Marn Persila Akech (Nyangwech) of Kakelo Dudi, Ogera (Bware AIC Church).

There will be a funeral meeting at K’Opere’s residence in Kitengela (Rosewall Estate-off Balozi Road) on Saturday 22/11/2025 from 2.00pm and a second meeting at K’Opere’s residence in South C- opposite MOW Sports Club (Akiba II-House No. 134) on Sunday 23/11/2025 from 2.00pm.

The cortege will leave Kendu Adventist Mission Hospital Funeral Home, Gendia on Thursday 04/12/2025 at 1.00pm for a Funeral/Memorial Service at Atandi West SDA Church Oyugis from 2.00pm to 4.00pm and thereafter the cortege will lie in state at the family home for an overnight vigil of songs, praise and worship. Mama Rodah will be laid to rest next to her late husband Mzee Azaria Oduo Opere at the family home in Oyugis on Friday 05/12/2025 and the burial ceremony shall begin promptly at 10.00am led by Oyugis South District-Pastor Wycliffe Opere and officiated by Pastor Lewis Ondiek and Pastor Moses Oduma.
