It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Victor Kirubi Thungu on 17th Dec. 2025.

He was the beloved son of Jane Wamaitha and the late Dr Duncan Kirubi, brother of Ivy Wangari Thungu.

Grandson of the late Mr and Mrs. Samuel Kirubi and the late Mr Francis and Mrs Sarah Mwangi.

Cousin to Cheges, Muchoris, Mbagis, Gakures, Karugias, the Ngaregas, Ndorongos, Mbukos, Mwekis, Mainas and Muriithis Family. Victor was a dear, close and supportive friend to many.

Prayers are taking place daily at 5.00pm, at the family home at No. 16 Muthithi Garden’s, Kiambu Road.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home, Kabati on Monday morning, 22nd Dec. 2025 and funeral will be held same day at 10.30am in Kayu village, Kangema, Muranga County.

Loving daughter of the late Eshibon Mwangi Gakuo and the late Jane Nyambura of Mihuti, Kangema.

Daughter-in-law of the late Kimani wa Njuguna and the late Jane Waniiiri Kimani from Gitweku.

Sister of Stephen Gakuo,Tabitha Wangui Macharia, Deborah Wairimu Kinuthia, Isaiah Ngotho, Albert Maina, Sarah Waniiku Mbuthia, Lewel Ngahu, Phyllis Wanjiru Mutuota, the late Samuel Rimu, the late Nathan Thuita and Priscah Nduta Wanjau.

Sister-in-law of Nancy Ibongo (Ting’ang’a), Ngine Kimani, Nyingi Kimani (USA), Mairia Kimani, the late Njuguna Kimani, the late Mwangi Kimani, Macharia and Margaret Kimani.

There will be a memorial service at ACK St. Joseph of Arimathea,Thome V estate on Sunday 21st December 2025 at 2:00pm.

The cortege leaves K.0 Referral Funeral Home on Tuesday, 23rd December at 8:00a.m. for funeral service at Gitweku Primary School Grounds from 11.00 a.m and thereafter the burial at the family home in Gitweku Village (mbari ya Thuku), Kiharu Constituency, Murang’a County.

Prayers and funeral preparations meetings are taking place daily at her family home in RiverLine Kiwanja, Membley Estate. 6:00p.m, – 8:00p.m.

She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and love for Christ.

She was sister of Regina and Moses Nduneu, James Ndirangu and Annelizer Muthoni, Jane Muthoni,Anne Lucy Wambui, Ephraim Theuri and Beth Nyaguthii and Carol Wambui.

She was aunt of Martin Matirnu, Joyce Wangeci, George Muthura. Susan Wanjiku, George Brian Muthura,Vera Wanja, jackline Wangari, Lorna Wambui, Max Mwaniki, Kevin Muthura, Ivy Wanjiku, Cynthia Wanja, Victoria Wanja, Bridgete Wanjiku, Stephanie Wanja, Georgina Njeri and Leon Muriuki.

Burial arrangements are taking place at her residence in Sunrise 2 estate in Njoro, Nakuru county between 4.00pm and 6.00pm.

Dr. Juma was a devoted servant of God, a distinguished scholar, and a loving family man. Dr. Gregory Juma Nyongesa was a Lecturer at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology (POUST), where he faithfully served with dedication, integrity, and passion for academic excellence. He greatly impacted the lives of many students and colleagues through his. commitment to teaching, mentorship, and research.

Dr. Gregory was a beloved son of Mr, Protus Nyongesa Walumbe and Mama Rose Misanya, a caring and supportive brother of Mr. Fidelis, Kasiano, Tylence, Elizabeth, Hellen, Sarah and Andrew.

He was a devoted husband of Caroline Ngonjo and a loving father of Zawadi whom he cherished deeply.

He was a nephew of Charles Uluma and others.

Burial will take place on Friday 19th December 2025 at Bungoma county, Bungoma South Sub county, East Bukusu Division, East Bukusu Location, West Sang’alo Ward, Namwacha Sub location, Chemululuchi village.

Isaiah was a cherished brother of the late Salome Gechemba Onyancha, Hellen Kerubo Saeta, the late Rachel Mokune Onkoba, Samwei Nyambega, Annah Boyani, Joyce Kwamboka Maleche, the late Grace Moraa, and Esther Bisieri Tom. He was also brother-in-law of Bishop Kepha Omae (Redeemed Gospel Church Inc.), Bishop Henry, Elijah Omae, among others.

He was Korera of the Anyango family of Kamagambo – the late Anthony and late lscah Mwango, the late John and Lucy Khoja, and late Hon. Dalmas Otieno, Patricia, late Jane, and Dorothy Otieno.

He was nephew of the late Kinyosi, late Nyamoita Ongechi, late Nyanchama, Moraa, Ondieki, late Monyonge, late Mokua, Ngtasora, late Mabiria, late Nyarango, and late Arisa. He was cousin of Ombati, the late Mauti, Mary, Arisa. Mustafa, Momanyi, among others.

A devoted aunt of Mya Cheptoo; and a treasured granddaughter of the late Kamoing Arap Soi, Tabarno Soi, and Tabtuwei Soi.

She will be laid to rest on 19th December 2025 at 9:00 a.m at her home in Kisitet Kericho County.

He was a visionary leader, a renowned educator, teacher, mentor and a source of inspiration to many,A former teacher at Nyaagi Primary School, a pioneer tea farmer in Kenya, and a community and church elder He will be remembered for his discipline, kindness, generosity and a deep love for education_

He is survived by his wife, Celina Muthamia, his children Gacheri, Murithi, Mwenda, Kinoti, Karam, Gitonga, Kawira, and Mugendi, and ten grandchildren.

The cortege will depart from Consolata Nkubu Funeral Home on Monday, 22nd December 2025, at 8:00 a.m., proceeding to Kionyo Catholic Church, where the funeral service will be held starting at 11.00 a.m.
