Dr. Joan Wanjugu Githaiga

Sunrise: 28.05.1981 — Sunset: 20.11.2025 It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Dr. Joan Wanjugu Githaiga on 20th November 2025 in Maryland, USA.

Joan was the beloved daughter of the late James Githaiga and Joyce Maiki Githaiga.

She was a devoted mother of Eli Githaiga Macharia, and a cherished sister of Julie Nyakinyua Githaiga and Beatrice Tunu Yeri. She was a beloved niece, cousin, auntie, and friend to many.

A funeral service followed by the final rites will be held on Thursday, 186 December 2025, from 10:00 am at the Francis J. Collins Funeral Home in Silver Spring, Maryland.

Joan was a gentle soul, kind-hearted and deeply loved. She will be profoundly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. May her soul rest in eternal peace.

Father-in-law of Julius Mbuba Njagi, Anne Mukuna Rweria, the late Egidia Kagweni, Japhet Nyaga Mbaka and Charles Chege Waithaka and a loving grandfather and great-grandfather.

Brother of the late Justus Mbuba, Lucy Ciandeke Kime, Hellen Ciambaka, Jedidah Ciagitari, Lawrence Rweria and Alicent Kageni Gitonga.

Friends and family are meeting at his residence in Rubia Estate, Langata as well as in Gakuuni village/Chuka, Tharaka Nithi County.

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the tragic passing of Jackson Njiraini Ikenye of Capital Markets Authority after complications arising from a road traffic accident.

He was the beloved son of Charles Ikenye Njiraini and Ruth Nyokabi lkenye and a cherished brother of Abigael Njoki lkenye. Jackson leaves behind many uncles, aunties and cousins.

He was the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jackson Njiraini and the late Mr. Samuel Karanja and Mrs. Naomi Karanja.

Family and friends are meeting at their home in Kiamumbi, off Kamiti Road from Monday 8th December, 2025 to Friday 12th December, 2025 and at Blue Springs Hotel along Thika road at 5.30 p.m from Monday, 8th December, 2025 to Thursday 11th December, 2025.
