It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of James Kungu Kimani (Dr. Makuha, CEO of Beta Care Hospital, Githunguri).

He was the son of the late Charles Kimani and the late Penina Muthoni.

He was the beloved husband of Margaret Njeri Kungu. He was a loving father of Penina Muthoni, Charles and Joyce, and Thomas and Charity.

He was brother of Mary Wangari, the late David Kihato, Teresiah Njoki wa Kiganjo. the late Peter Kihio, the late Jane Wangui, Naomi Ngendo, and Agnes Waithera.

He was son in law of the late Samson lkinya Kiongo and the late Monica Wanjiku.

He was a grandfather of Victor, Mark, Daniel, and Caleb. He was a brother in law, uncle, and cousin to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his Githunguri home (behind Grather Academy) from 4 00pm for prayers and burial arrangements. Meetings will also be going on every day at his maternal home in Magumu, from 6.00 pm.

There will be a memorial service at ACK St. Luke Githunguri on Sunday, 7th December, from 3.00 pm.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home-Thika road on Wednesday, 10th December for the burial service at ACK Gakui, after which he will be laid to rest at Magumu, Gatundu N.

Loving husband of Mollie Wanjiru Anami. Father of Charlene Anami, Julius & Martha Anami and Anna Anami. Grandfather of Ryan Anami, Leon Anami and Liam Anami.

Son of the late Reuben Khatimba Anami and Anna Mung’oe Anami. Brother of James Anami, the late Maurice Anami, Moses Anami, Jeff & Joyce Anami, the late Godfrey Anami, Margaret Adoko, Joan & Paul Baker, Beatrice Anami, Caroline Anami & Burkhad Paulat and the late Judy & Moses Kaniaru.

Son-in-law of the late James Kiriba Nguah and Peninnah Nguah. Brother-in-law of Ruth & Frank Kibui, Anthony & Elizabeth Kiriba, Peter Muthee and David Nganga. Cherished uncle, cousin and friend to many.

A fundraiser will be held at All Saints Cathedral on Monday 8th December 2025 from 6:00pm.

A requiem service will be held at Shrine of the Sacred Heart of Jesus-Karen (Next to Galleria Mall) on Tuesday 9th December 2025 from 11:00am.

The cortege shall be removed from Montezuma funeral home on Wednesday 10th of December 2025 followed by a burial service on Thursday 11th December 2025 at his farm in Rongai -Nakuru County.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Rtd. SSP John K. Cheruiyot, who went to be with the Lord after battling complications related to acute gastritis.

He was the son of the late Job Kibwoiywo Cheruiyot and the late Elizabeth Cheboo cheruiyot. Brother of Philip Choge, Sabina Sirma, the late Paul, the late Salina Chepkwony, Anne Serem, William Marich and the late Chebet.

He is survived by his wife Mary Cheruiyot and children Judy Jemutai, Joan Cheruiyot, Cosmus Bwaley, Mercy Cheruiyot, Raymond Kipngetich, and Hosea Lenny. Grandfather of Ryan and Avana, and father-in-law of Mercy jesang. He was also an uncle to many.

A fundraising (harambee) will be held on Sunday, 7th December.

The cortege leaves Samaritan Funeral Home, Kapsabet, on Monday, 8th December 2025 and burial will take place on Tuesday, 9th December 2025 at his farm in Lolduga, Ollessos, Nandi County.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Aileen Jepkemboi Tallam, who was born on 4th September 1982 and went to be with the Lord on 28th November 2025.

She was the beloved daughter of the late Joseph Okong’o Koyier and the late Margaret Jerotich Okong’o.

Aileen was married to Symon Yatich and a loving mother of Sally Yatich and Sam Yatich.

She is survived by her siblings: Benjamin Koyier, Elijah Kiprotich Tallam, Zaccheous Kibet Tallam (US), John Baranga Limo (ODPP), and Vincent Yuukei Okong’o.

She was daughter-in-law of Eric Cheboi, Hilda Cheboi and Salina Cheptumo. She was an in-law of the late Beatrice Toroitich, Michelle Sisismwo, Sylvia Korir, Nancy Tallam (US), Mary Mutisya, Jebiwot Yatich, Robert Yatich Charles Yatich, Caroline Yatich, Gladys Yatich, and Viola Yatich.

Aileen leaves behind many nephews and nieces, including Joseph, Shem, Meggie, Tabitha, Tanisha, Tesley, Melvin, Kelvin, Kortney, Kaleb, Malakai, Judy, Hope, Joy, and Albright,

She was a granddaughter of the Koyier family of Kokuro, Migori County, and the Tallam family of Eldama Ravine, Baringo County. She is also mourned by many cousins, uncles, and aunties.

The burial will take place on 12th December 2025 at her parents’ home in Keleiwa. The cortege will leave Umash Funeral Home-Nakuru on the morning of the burial.

A fundraiser to support funeral arrangements will be held on Tuesday 9th December 2025, with venues in Kelelwa and AIC Milimani Nairobi.

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Diana Wamaitha Mbugua, which occurred on 29th November 2025.

Diana was the loving daughter of the late Jane Wanjiku Mbugua and Geoffrey Mbugua Thaiku; and sister of the late Douglas Gatonga and David Thaiku. She was a daughter-in-law of Joseph Kiragu Chege and Esther Njeri, and sister-in-law of Lynn, Clare and Gabu.

She was the devoted wife of Dennis Chege and a doting mother of Baby Janelle Njeri Chege.

Diana faithfully served her country at the Office of the Deputy President as an Assistant Secretary.

She was a granddaughter of the late David Thaiku and Grace Wamaitha, and the late James Kanyari Gitau and Margaret WairimuKanyari, Margaret Wanjiru Chege and the late Bethwel Chege.

Diana was a dear niece; of Isaac Gatonga, James Kuria, Francis’ Mwangi, Charles Mau, Elijah Gatiba, Daniel Nyoro, Rosalind VVamaitha,Winnie Wanjiku, Nancy Kabura, Eunice Wangari, Ann Wambui, Michael Mugo, Ruth Wathiru, Naomi Nduta among others.

She was a loving cousin of Fiona, Sandra, Ian, Angela, Vanessa, Sammy, Joe, Edna, Grace, Wairimu, and Ryan, and an aunt of Anic, Monica, and Risper.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at All Saints’ Cathedral, Nairobi, from 500 PM.

The cortege will leave KUTRRH Funeral Home on Tuesday, 9th December 2025, for the funeral service and burial at her family home in Rwegetha Village, Gatanga Sub-County, Murang’a County.

Four years have passed since our beloved went home to rest in the eternal embrace of our Lord, yet not a single day goes by without thoughts of her filling our hearts. Her presence remains a gentle light that guides us, her memory a treasure we hold close and dear.

Today, we honor the remarkable woman she was—her boundless love, generous spirit, radiant beauty, and unshakeable courage. Grounded deeply in faith, she walked with God with grace and conviction, inspiring all who knew her.As an accomplished trailblazer, she led with vision and innovation, leaving footprints that continue to illuminate the paths of others. Though we miss her dearly, we are at peace.

Surrounded by her enduring legacy, we—her family, friends, and all blessed to have known her–continue to celebrate her life with gratitude. It is with deep sorrow and with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Paul Nguta Kasema, CEO and Co-Founder of Royal Associates Insurance Brokers Ltd, Nairobi. Paul went to be with the Lord on November 29, 2025, at MP Shah Hospital, Parklands, Nairobi.

Paul was the beloved son of the late William Kasema and the late Theresia Kasiva.

He was the loving husband of Marian Mulwa Kasema and a devoted father of Will Kasema and Ryan Nguta.

He was a cherished brother of the late Annastacia Sabina Kasema, the late Peter Mulwa Kasema, Stellamaris Mueni Kasema, the late Bernard Muasya Kasema,and Joseph Kasema.

He was brother-in-law of Prexidis Muasya Kasema, Mary Mulwa Kasema, and Loise Ngene Kasema. Paul was an uncle to many and a dear friend to all who knew him.

Family and friends will gather on Friday, 5th December 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at All Saints’ Cathedral, Nairobi, to celebrate Paul’s life and offer support as they prepare for his befitting send-off.

A Requiem Mass will be held at Holy Trinity Church, Kileleshwa, Nairobi, on Monday, 8th December 2025, starting at 2:30 p.m.

The cortege will depart from Lee Funeral Home at 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, 10th December 2025, for a funeral service at St.Theresia Catholic Church, Nguumo, followed by burial at his home in Yatta.

Son of the late Joseph Muli Musyoka and Agnes Ngina. Son in law of the late Boniface Ndeti and Elizabeth Nthike.

Loving husband of Philomena Kanini Musyoka of Tana Ranch Village. Father of Joseph Muli,Agnes Ngina, Elizabeth Nthike,Victoria Mutindi and Boniface Ndeti. Father in law of Ann Mbithe, Elizabeth Nzisa, Daniel Kawi, the late Boniface Ndolo, Bernard Choi and Stella Ndeti.

Grandfather of Esther, Philomena, Linet, Titus, Vincent, Milkah, Maurine, Filanah, Linus, Tatiana, Blessing, Shanice, Sylvia, Emmanuel, Abigail, Joshua and many others.

He was a brother of Munyao, the late Mutua and Sikuku. Great grandfather of Shirleen, Leona, Zaria, Jael. Uncle to many.

There will be a funds drive at Sagret Hotel, Milimani-Nairobi on Monday, 8th December 2025 at 6.00 PM.

The burial will be on 10th December, 2025 at his home Tana Ranch village, Ndithini Latsub- county Machakos. The cortege will depart Montezuma Funeral Home Thika Road 7.00 am.
