It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of our beloved patriarch, Elias Omare Ondiba Nyasae, which occurred on 2nd December 2025.

He was the beloved son of the late Elisha Ondiba Nyasae and the late Perpetua Moraa Ondiba.

A devoted husband of Jessicah Moraa Omare. A loving father of Florence Monyangi, Samuel Kerabu, Maria Kwamboka (USA), Jared Nyang’era, and the late Zacharia Amoro. A caring father-in-law of Donald Okari, Mercy Asiko, Getrude Ambogo, and the late Beatrice Chelangat. A cherished grandfather of Teddy, Glenn, Shantel, Shanny, Sherry, Shiloh, Shalom, Vania, Wayne, William, Miriam, Nicholus, and Blessing.

He was a brother of the late Samuel Kingoina, Abel Onyancha, the late Maranga, Milkah Moserembe, the late Jerusha Getoi, Esther, Drusilla, the late Teresa, and the late Mongeri. He was also a cousin of the greater Mwanyasae family.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his Nakuru residence and at his rural home in MasaboVillage,Gesusu Ward, Nyaribari Masaba Constituency.

The cortege will leave Evans Sunrise Mortuary on Tuesday, 16th December 2025, for his rural home in Masabo Village. The burial will take place on Wednesday, 17th December 2025, at his rural home in Masabo Village.

We are deeply saddened to share the passing on to glory of Mzee Daniel Muthinja M’Ibuathu, who departed on December 3, 2025. Mzee was a former District Education Officer, DEO in Turkana and many other Districts.

He was the cherished and only son of the late M’ Ibuathu Kaurugo and late Julia Ciomubwika Kaka.

Husband of Bridget Kajuju (former spouse), and Purity Mwendwa. He was a loving father of Esther Mairora, Lucy Nkatha, Brenda Kinanu, Susan Mbeti, Eva Karimi, Ken Mutuma, Alex Mwenda, Philip Thuranira and Japhet Munyua. He was a proud grandfather of Cynthia, Ryan, Jade, Ian, late Bryan, Audrey, Glory, Jayden, La’Keisha, Olivia, Abigail, Annabelle, Javiel, and Riziki.

Muthinja was a dear brother of adored sisters late Kaburo, late Kalimbi, Mbaa, Kathuuri, Muthoni, and Mukubu. He leaves behind a loving family of cousins, nieces and nephews including one adorable great granddaughter Taylor.

His final journey will begin from Maua Hospital on December 16, 2025, at 7am with his burial taking place at his home in Murechia, Akithi, Tigania West.

He was the son of the late Samuel Kieti Ndolo and the late Rabecca Kavithe.

Beloved husband of Josephine Ndeto. Doting father of Stephen Ndeto of AA Kenya, the late Edina Mbithe, Chief Inspector Martha Mukami and Rabecca Kayithe-Catholic University. Father-in-law of Veronica Karino and Keith Muvea.

Cherished grandfather of Lucky, Ethan, Dickson Kieti, Susan Mwikali, Declan Asante, Adiel Munke, Remie Enzo, and Demi Pill.

Brother of former PC Wilfred Ndolo, Florence Mbete, the late Mary Nduku, Geoffrey Kieti, Kigen Kieti, Catherine Mutete, Duncan Ndau, Maxine Mukeli, Jackson Ndolo,and Evans Kieti.

Brother–in-law of Georgina Ndolo, Florence Kigen, Emma Evans, Mutiso, and Victoria Ndolo.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Mataa, Mbooni, at Seo Hotel Machakos, and at his second home in Kalingile Village, Muvaa, Kalama, for funeral and burial arrangements.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home, Machakos, on Tuesday, 16th December 2025. Funeral service will be held at Kitundu Primary School from 10:00 a.m., followed by burial at his home in Mataa Village, Kitundu Location, Mbooni West, Makueni County.

With deep sorrow, the Bishop, priests, religious, family, and the entire Christian faithful of the Catholic Diocese of Kakamega announce the passing of Rev. Fr. Bede Herman Marandu, former Vicar General of the Diocese, who passed away on 6 December 2025 at around 5:00 p.m. at Mater Hospital.

Rev. Fr. Bede Herman Marandu was born on 1 August 1954 in Kiraeni, Mashati Parish, in the Diocese of Moshi, Kilimanjaro Region, Tanzania.

He was the firstborn son of the late Herman Muta.na Marandu and the late Basila Emmanuel Mwanamshiki. He was the eldest among nine siblings-five brothers and four sisters, including his younger brother, Rev. Fr. Valerian Msafiri.
