It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Mary Wangui Mwangi (Wa Maina).

She was wife of the late Joseph Mwangi Githae (Wa Gakoroba).

Mary was the daughter of the late Moses Githaiga Kimani and the late Eunice Wanjiru Githaiga. Sister of Florence Wakanyi Githaiga, Jane Wanja Muhia, the late Pauline Wambui, George Kimani, Margaret Njoki Njoroge, Hannah Nyambura Kinuthia, Jane Wangari Njoroge,Alice Njeri Ngure and Peter Ndung’u.

Mary was daughter in love of the late Githae Home and the late Mary Wambui, the late Wambui Githae (Muritu) and Mary Wangari Githae.

Loving mother of Edward Maina Mwangi of Ministry of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs, George Kimani, Simon Kiriungi, the late Moses Njuguna and Richard Muriuki. Mother in love of Lucy Maina, Sarah Kimani and Cynthia Muriuki. Loving grandmother of Stacy Wangui, Joseph Mwangi Maina, Sylvia Mumbi, Arnold Mwangi, Jewel Wangui, Joseph Mwangi Muriuki, Brian Njaruba and Edward Maina. Auntie to many.

Daily prayers and funeral preparation meetings are taking place at her residence in Mugumo off Mugumo Road.

There will be a Requiem Mass at Holy Family Catholic Church, Mugumo on Thursday, 11th December 2025 starting 5.30 pm.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home, Thika Road on Tuesday, 16th December 2025 at 8.30 am for funeral mass at Holy Family Catholic Church, Mugumo. Interment will follow thereafter at the family home in Mugumo Estate.

It has been 8 years (dad) and 1 year (mom) since you both left us. We thank the Almighty God for having blessed us with you. Time has not healed the pain but the grace of God has been sufficient enough to see us through as we remember the good times we shared with you. e regret to announce the untimely passing of Brian Mwangura Masale on 23 November, 2025 through a road accident in South Africa, where he was working.

He was the beloved son of Eliakim M. Masale and Mary Kaveza Masale. He was a brother of Mercy Kikuyu, Duncan Mwakio, Peninah Lusambili, Anthony Mwangura, Emily Mwachoni, Patience Waweru, Serah Talu, Wendy, Gertrude, Sarah and Elpinah Masale.

He was a beloved uncle, cousin, brother in-law, and friend to many.

The cortege leaves Nairobi on Thursday, 11th December, 2025 to Mzwanenyi village, Mwatate for a night vigil. Prayers will be held before being laid to rest on Friday, 12th December, 2025.

She was the cherished daughter of the late Mr. Benjamin Busienei and Mama Rosaline Busienei (Kapmasit Kapswara) of Kakiptui Village, and daughter-in-law of the late Mzee Jacob Kibitok Keino & the late Felister Keino of Laboret, Kipkaren Ward in Mosop Constituency, Nandi County.

Alice shared a close bond with her siblings- Kenneth, Racheal, Evans, Meshack. Eliud, Nelson,Wesley,Timon. Isaac (Sr), Edwin, Silas, and Jones.
