It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of our beloved Mama Abigael Ogolo Oduor Ogwindi (Japuonj) which occurred on 7/01/2020.

Wife of the late James Henry Oduor Ogwindi of Simenya Sub-location, Siaya County. Daughter of the late Hezron Odhier and Mama Lucia Akeyo Odhier of Kitambo, Asembo Ramba. Sister of Addah Odero, Margaret Orwah, Lornah Omolo, the late Oyuga and the late Wasonga.

Cherished mother of Jane Ondunga, Rose Odero, Dorcas Opondo, the late Malian Ogwindi, the late Ruth Aoko, the late Andrew Ogwindi, the late Samuel Okoth, the late Dennis Ogwindi and the late Christine Ochieng.

Mother-in-law of the late Joshua Ondunga, the late Dr Samuel Odero, the late Hezborne Opondo, Betty Oware, Mary Okoth, Mildred Odhiambo and Stephen Okongo. Grandmother of Stephen Oduor, Rebecca, Rose, Susan Oduor, Victor, Dennis, Rhoda, Walter, Dr Jackie, James, Humphrey, the late Clinton, Shiley, Beverly, Stacy, Kotiso, Clint, Nereah and Maryline. Great grandmother of James, Kevin, Joseph, Jack, Quincy, Eugene, Jane, Lonnele, Wayne and Christine.

Fundraising for her funeral expenses will be held at Tumaini House, Nairobi on 14th January 2020.

The cortege will leave Star Mortuary, Kisumu on Friday 17th January for a funeral service at ACK St. Andrews Church Simenya parish. The burial will take place on 18th January 2020
