It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mr Abel Siteki Moenga (retired district accountant) that occurred on November 2nd 2020.
Husband to Jemimah Nyamoita, a retired teacher (Xaverian, Kisumu). Father of Vincent Moenga (Kisumu), Edwin Arasa (USA) Dr Beryl Mercy (Canada), Josephat Moenga and Winnie Ochieng both of USA. Brother of the late Samuel, Daniel, the late Eucabeth, Zablon, Joyce, Jane, the late Alice and Omari. Cousin to Charles, Joash, Onyangore, Kefa, Gerald, Ombati, Samuel Gwaya (USA), Julius, Nyabuga Onyangore, Moruri and the late Agoso, Pastor Maangi, Bonser (USA), Robert, Ombati, Joseph, Anyona, Hon. Ezekiel Ombaki (MP), the late Sese, Mose, Susan. Nephew to Getonto, Agoso, the late Isaboke, Joseph Gwaya, David, Joel, Nyabuga, the late Obande, late Onyangore, the late Gesongori, Nyantomeri, Bitutu, Nyaboro and Gechanga.
Brother-in-law to Elizabeth Ratemo, Aska, Moraa, Onyangore, the late Meshack, Laban, Henry, the late Joyce, Norah, Zipporah, Charles, the late Joel, Orenge, the late Henry, Peter, Paul Okari. Grandfather of Vincenza, Robin,Gabriella, Wambura, Ivy, Junior, Ethan (USA), Ethan (Canada), Amani, Avery, Chelsea, Kathie, Erick Junior and Aidan. Uncle to Joshua, James Ratemo & Dorothy Ratemo (USA) Samuels, Ondiekis, Frank, Cheryl, Bill, Nyangaresi and Evelyne, Hezron Nyabuga (USA) Willy Mose (USA). Son-in-law of the late Mangera and the late Nyakebati. Korera of Bundi, Ongige and Okewa. Father-in-law of Wycliffe, Ruth and Erick.
The cortege will leave from Hema Hospital in Kisii town on November 19th and burial will be on November 20th 2020 at his home in Metembe One, Sokobe village, Masaba South Sub-County, Kisii County.
Abel has fought a good fight, he has finished the race and kept the faith. 2 Timothy 4:7

You were a hero who helped everyone who came your way irrespective of their tribe, social or political affiliation . I knew you when you were in Eldama Ravine, RIP Mr Moenga.
