Jane Teresa Kiungu
Surrounded by loving family, Jane Teresa Kiungu died on October 22nd, 2020. She leaves behind her husband Basil Kiungu, her children, Katini Kiungu, Rachel Ngumbi Kiungu, Luisa Caren Kiungu, and Neema Francisca Brizzi.
Her grandchildren, Ryan Recchia Kiungu, Renee-Jane Ngumbo, Sean Kibet Rono and Andrew Kipkemoi Rono, will miss her dearly.
She was diagnosed with breast cancer back in 2005. She managed her illness and lived for 14 years cancer free.
In 2019, Jane was diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic bone cancer. She went to India for treatment where she stayed for a month and underwent Radiotherapy.
She was put on Hormonal Therapy treatment. In September 2020 Jane’s situation got worse and she got admitted to Nairobi Women’s Hospital and later to Kenyatta University Teaching, Research and Referral Hospital. She was discharged from hospital one week later.
Her health however deteriorated and on the 18th October, Jane was readmitted back to hospital. On her last night, 22nd October, Jane passed on.

Learnt with shock the promotion to glory of Jane Kiungu. Worked wither at Dixons back in the day.
