Agnes Adoyo Opande

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Retired Sister Agnes Adoyo Opande through a tragic road accident on 28th August, 2022 in Utawala.

Daughter to the late Mzee Patroba Nyaywera and the late Esther Obwanga Nyaywera of Apida Karabondi Homabay County. Step-daughter to Mary Aoko Nyaywera. Sister to the late David Ogina Nyaywera, the late Yuanita Omondi, the late Jane Adhiambo,Tom Nyaywera and Josephine Rakuom. She was a step-sister to Ezra Odondi, John Oloo, Akoth, Dennis, Peninah, Lilian, Joseph, Susan, Sila and the late Leah.

Cousin to Charles Ougo, Shadrack Aseto, Mitchelle Odero, Fanuel Mwoyo among others.

Sister-in-law o Agnes Ogina, Shuweikha Rashid, the late Florence Ogina, Beldwin Wanjiku, the late Beldine Awuor, uliet Awuor, the late Washington Otieno, the late Dennis Adot K’Odada, Chris Rakuom and Hezron Omega.

Wife to the late Japheth Opande and co-wife of Filida Opande, Margaret Opande, Caren Otieno, Jane Ondoro, the late Jane Ombogo, Jenifer Odede, Susan Opule and Beverline Ombogo.

She was a grandmother, great grand-mother and friend to many.

There will be a memorial church service CITAM Embakasi (Pride Centre) on Wednesday, 7th September, 2022 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home on Friday, 9th September, 2022 at 8am for burial at her home in Kisumu County. She will be laid to rest on Saturday 10th September, 2022 at Sigoti Location, Koguta East Location, Ngege village next to Sibuon Primary School in Nyakach.
