Agnes Wamwitha Wachira

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Agnes Wamwitha Wachira which occurred on Monday, 09th June 2025.

She was a devoted wife of the late Eldad Wachira Macharia.

She was-the cherished daughter of the late James Kahunyo Kihato and the late Margaret Warigia Kahunyo. Beloved sister of the late Jane Muthoni Gathigira, the late George Kahumbu, the late Marjorie Nyawira Crispin, the late J.P. Muhuni, the late Lucy Wagithi Githae,Virginia Muringo and IreneWanjira Mararo.

Loving mother of the late John Macharia, the late Anne Wairimu, Mrs. Margaret Warigia Wairegi, Joseph Kahunyo, Patrick Mwangi, Lawrence Kahumbu and Dadson Muhuni. Grandmother and great grandmother to many.

Family and friends are meeting on Friday, 13th June 2025 and Monday, 16th June 2025 at All Saints Cathedral at 5.00pm and daily at her home in island farms, Kimahuri.

The cortege leaves Outspan Hospital Mortuary at 8.00am on Wednesday, 18th June 2025 for the funeral service and burial at her home Island farms, Kimahuri.
