Agnes Wangui Gitari

It is with a sad heart but with acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Agnes Wangui Gitari, of Ndundu village, Gatundu South Sub-county, Kiambu County, which occurred on 11th March, 2021.

Daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ng’ang’a Muchege of Ndundu Village, Gatundu South Sub-county, Kiambu County. Loving wife of John Gitari Muhinja of Ndundu Village, Gatundu South Sub-county, Kiambu County. Mother of Fidelis Wambui Gatama, the late Jane Njeri, Martin Muhinja, Charles Nganga, the late Margaret Wanja, the late Albert Ndung’u, the late Moses Karanja, Josephine Muthoni and Virginia Wanjiku. Sister of the late John Gitau (Brown), the late Gabriel Muiyuro, Irene Muthoni and Nancy Wanjiru. Daughter-in-law of the late Mr. and Mrs. Luka Muhinja. Mother-in-law of John Gatama Kamau and Rose Wanjiru Ng’anga. Aunt, grandmother, and great grandmother of many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Homeland Lounge; Thika Road and at her residential home Ndundu Village, for prayers and funeral arrangements at 5:00pm.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Referral Funeral Home, at 9:00am, on Friday 19th March, 2021, for a funeral service at her home at 11:00am, thereafter, an internment at her farm.
